We chose SoCal Seamless because of their strong reviews and reputation, but unfortunately our experience has been far from smooth. After installation, we began hearing loud popping and creaking noises from multiple downspouts and drains. While the team came out several times and assured us the issue would be addressed, months later we're still dealing with the same problem -- especially from the north-facing drains. Communication started out fine but quickly dropped off. Each "fix" was temporary, and the underlying issue remains unresolved. At this point, I'm disappointed in the lack of lasting solutions and follow-through on their warranty and workmanship. I rarely leave negative reviews, but when you invest in what's supposed to be a professional installation, you expect the company to stand behind their work until it's right. Socal Seamless installed rain gutters at my home in November 2024. Upon the first light rain the gutters were leaking from the endcaps and 90 degree turns. I call Kris and texted him several times with no response from him. It became apparent that he was not going to fix the problem. I guess my option at this point will be to try to find someone else to either fix the rain gutters or tear them down and replace them. $950.00 loss. Stay away unless you enjoy being treated poorly for work that you need done. I waited weeks and weeks for them to finish a larger job and had no indication of exactly what day they would start. I told them I had a new roof and I had no rain gutters and I needed them because it continued to rain in the summer. This didn't seem to matter but I was patient and the work was completed. I needed two new downspouts and I use the contractor they recommended to tunnel into new drains. They installed the gutters and the downspouts and two of them leaked. I sent pictures and videos and I was told someone would come out, but was not told what time, what day or who would be coming out. They had to fix this three times because it was never fixed when they came out. I specifically asked for the owner to come and do the repair and he ignored that request and didn't respond The third repair. If you can call it that, was to change the downspout to an open pipe that wasn't even centered or sealed into the drain. I sent a photo to the owner and texted him that I wanted to know when he personally could come out and fix this And that it was very badly done. I got a tirade of angry text telling me that I was rude and that I was expecting too much stay away from this business. I've never been treated worse. I paid in full in good faith that my rain gutters would be installed correctly. It hasn't really rained since they were installed and I have no idea if I'm gonna have to pay to get them completely redone and I will probably take legal action if I find any more leaks at this point for damage to my house, do not use this business unless you enjoy paying for some thing, not getting everything that you expected, and being insulted on a regular basis by the owner of the business. I actually had to block the owners phone number from my phone because of the tirade of rude text I received when asking that the work be done right and be fixed. UPDATE - on November 18. I had a plumbing company come out because the gutters with the new downspout were overflowing when it rained two days ago the plumber put a camera in the pipe and found two different places where plastic had been shoved into the pipe, blocking the water flow, which I believe was done on purpose, given the abusive and attacking nature of the owner of this company. I have never written a negative review on any product or service. But this company's complete disregard for customer service, and the absence of any professionalism or courtesy, must be publicized. We had whole-house gutters installed by SoCal Seamless in June 2020. Most of the installation went OK - there is a seam in one long section, and a miscut downspout that had to be mended and the joint hidden by a strap, but since those wouldn't affect function I let them go. But it appeared that one section was poorly hung. I notified the owner, who finally responded after 2 emails and a phone call, "Please send some photos." I sent photos. No response for a week, so I emailed again. No response for another week, so I emailed again. Finally he responded to say "I can't tell there's anything wrong from the photos," and that he's trying to get a worker back over. No word for another 2 weeks, so I emailed yet again and referred to their "Lifetime Guarantee - all you have to do is call us." No response at all. A year later, in November 2021, we finally got some rain, and it revealed a leak in that section of gutter. Emailed to request service. No answer for 3 weeks, so emailed again. Finally got the reply, "Please send photos and or videos." I sent a video of the leak. No answer for a month. Socal Seamless installed gutters for my home and two of my neighbor's home over the summer; we just had our first rain/thunderstorm since installation and it looks like it does as advertised! Mark and the staff at the office were very easy to work with. Scheduling for a quoting appointment was very easy, and even revisions that I had done over the course of quoting were handled well. The actual installation took about 4 hours, with Mark and his team (I think his brother?) arriving on time and completing work in a professional manner; while working outside (which required cutting of the gutters which generates a bit of scrap) they were conscious about ensuring everything was clean after the job was done. So the owner Kris, sent a sales person to discuss the gutter project and then tells me after he sent a quote and I called him that he really isn't clear what needs to be done (because he wasn't there). When I asked why he would send a sales person who didn't convey what I needed, he said he was having a bad day...he's out of town, he's moving and doesn't need to be lectured by me. When I told him I needed to add an additional piece under the stairs, he said its too complicated and with the set up and materials involved, he isn't going to be making enough money, even though I told him I knew it would be more than what he quoted since I'm adding to the job. BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY We had SoCal Seamless install all new gutters on our home and gutter guards to prevent leaves from getting in. We have had nothing but problems from the get go. Kris sent the crew back to "fix" various issues that were never really resolved. The gutter guards have now fallen into the gutters and are completely useless. As of this morning during this massive rain we now have leaks coming into our home which were never a problem in the past. I too was told to send pictures and videos which I did and was told it was hard to see the problem however they never came back to look again. We were blown off and at this point I don't want anyone from this company coming back to my home. I was happy they came out to give a quote when expected, pricing was good, Mark was knowledgeable, and helpful when picking out the right gutters for my home. Install went smoothly, and I was happy....UNTIL the first rain. Both gutters are filling up in the middle and pouring over the top, making a wet mess all over my deck. I've called and texted Kris Peterson (the owner) with no response to my calls, although I got a response from him via text. Our conversation started December 29, 2020, and he had to put off our gutter repair/replacement due to employees being sick, and other reasons. Kris was difficult to deal with, and his customer service skills need serious work. It was not until March 2021 that we were able to get in touch with, and talk to Dane, (an employee from the San Diego office) Dane came to our home a few days after we talked with him, inspected the gutters, said they were installed incorrectly, but he would take care of us. Three days later Dane came to our house with an installer, put in new gutters, and installed them correctly so they would drain. Kris Peterson is fortunate to have amazing employees that care about their work, integrity, and customer service. Kudos to Dane!!!! Kris Peterson tries to hide from his customers whenever there are problems or complaints, and for good reasons. He installed new gutters in our home as a sub-contractor of J.L. Ray company which installed a new roof. The new gutters didn't look as good as we had expected, so we wanted to talk to him. He refused to show up and told us through J.L. Ray that the gutters were perfect and he would never come back to inspect his work. As soon as we had the first foggy mornings in San Clemente (it was not even raining!), water was seeping from the perfect gutters. It turned out that they were sloped the wrong way so that the water was accumulating away from the downspouts. When we informed J.L. Ray, it took them a while to send somebody. It turned out that this person was not from Kris Peterson's crew but from J.L. Ray. We couldn't find out if Kris Peterson had refused to take care of it or whether at J.L. Ray they had finally reached the conclusion that he wouldn't be able to fix the problem. The repair revealed the next problem. Now water which hadn't reached this spot before was dripping from a corner of the house where two gutters were joined. Small wonder that Kris Peterson is specializing in "seamless" gutters. Seems that as soon as he has to put two together, there is a leak. This time J.L. Ray - after a while - actually managed to have him come to our house to fix the problem himself. He showed up in an aggressive mood and gave us a few lectures: The problem didn't exist and we were just difficult customers. When we showed him the spot where the gutters were leaking, he changed his narrative and told us that our house was settling (because the distance between gutter and the rim of the roof was bigger than at the time of installation; did he actually expect us to buy such a bullshit?). When we told him that the gutters had to be lowered by J.L. Ray so that the water could drain through the downspout, he finally started work, i.e. he did a little caulking, declared the problem solved, and left. We followed him to his pick-up truck which he had not parked in front of our house - although there was plenty of space - but further away and asked him for his business card. He actually refused to do so! Before getting into his car which has no company logo, he shouted at us: "If you have another problem, don't call me." We hardly would get this idea after our experience with him. Update: Of course he didn't fix the problem. The leak became worse after his "repair". As mentioned earlier, with Kris Peterson gutters have to be seamless, as soon as he has to put them together they will leak. By the way, Kris Peterson's comment on this review is a pack of lies. The only person at Socal Seamless we ever communicated with was he, and we did so only on one occasion, namely when he came to our house to fix the problem (see above). Werner S. read more

This company canceled on me three times. When they finally did the installation, they had forgotten the downspout . That meant four days of messing up my schedule to wait for them. it rained right after the installation and the gutter leaked heavily from the end caps. They had stapled and not caulked them. I too had a bad experience. Instead of using an 8 ft spout, they used 2 4ft pcs held together by a piece of metal. The its curving out away from the wall and the metal is smashed on the ground.
