I had a problem on one side of my house the gutter keep coming off. He came out and gave an estimate double my neighbors because I needed to have my gutters all redone so they can drain. He then "re angled" the half round gutters to drain. 5 months latter same gutter came off the side of the house worse then before. I contacted him and one of the 1st comments was you can't angle half rounds. He didn't offer to come rehang the gutter he offered nothing. I expressed a lot of disappointment around this. I got a different contractor to come out. Their is no damage to the existing structure the gutter is not faulty. The contractor assessed what was previously repaired. Ribbed nails were put back into the preexisting holes. No additional fasteners or attachments were done. So no realignment if you go back into the same holes. The nails are less likely to be successful if driven into an already existing hole. Maybe this was an off day for him. read more

Let it rain!! We needed to have our rain gutters rerouted to avoid flooding in are backyard patio area. I called Gutter Tech, and Nick responded quickly and within a couple of days, he was over to fix and redirect the spout of the rain gutter (in less than 15 mins - amazing!!) to avoid future flooding. Nick responded to a text I sent him regarding 50' of rain gutter that I needed installed. we agreed on a price and he put me on the schedule and told me that he do the install in about a week or sooner, I texted him the following week to see where I was on the schedule, said it would be the following week on Tuesday or Wednesday, I told him to come Wednesday as I had someone doing the windows on Tuesday. Wednesday comes and he is tied up on another job but would be for sure on Thursday, Thursday was a no show, I texted to see if he was coming, but he just gave me a bunch of excuses, and promised " I won't let you down " I'll be there at 8:00 on Friday! Friday was also a no show and he never responded to the text I sent him asking if he was going to come. I wish I could give Nick and his crew a review based on their work. We can't even get Nick to keep a promise to show up for an estimate. Several times we have texted him and each time he has made commitments to give us the estimate the following day. Then nothing. No text, no Nick, nothing. Four times spread over three weeks. In reading some of the reviews on here I see that people who have contacted him after we did have received estimates and already had work done. I'm still scratching my head about that one. I'm sure he's very busy and we have been nothing but patient and understanding. But if you are too busy for any more customers, put your big boy pants on and say so. Don't keep committing to something and not following through. It's a terrible way to run a business and demonstrates a lack of integrity and respect for other people's time. I can only imagine what it would be like to chase him down to complete the work once a contract is signed or have them come back out to fix something that wasn't done correctly the first time. We had a couple of loose gutters, and we wanted someone to fix those gutters and check the rest of the gutters on our house to make sure they were secure. Nick from Gutter Tech came out and checked the entire house and got everything taken care of. And he even identified a couple of things that we should know about our roof. Nick, the owner of this company, is not an honorable person. One of his workers dropped a piece of metal and it shattered a patio table top. He insisted on fixing the damage and I gave him 3 chances to do so. I can't imagine it would be so difficult to measure a tabletop and have the right one delivered but what he delivered is many inches too small. Now he is accusing me of having made his workers install extra additional gutters on my house and that somehow this makes up for the damage his workers caused. Clearly he is not in control of his people and he does not fix his mistakes. I made the mistake of paying his invoice in full upon completion of the work and his promise that he would repair damage. The gutter work is acceptable, but the service afterwards has been absolutely unacceptable. I wish I could give Nick 5 stars. I have had a few neighbors ask if I could recommend someone. I have held back. He started out fine. Timely for initial estimate. Worker showed up on time for install. Things started to go south from there. He did not make it clear to worker that flashing needed to be installed. I thought... well as long as they come back. He came back and installed in one area only. Then it rained... I took video and sent to him. A literal downpour between the gutter and the house. Clearly needed flashing everywhere. He said he would come back and address...... that was early November. He replied to my husband he had an injury so recovering. So we waiting until after holidays. Husband reached out again multiple times and was ignored. I reached out and he responded he would get back with me on installing flashing. I thought, okay... give him a chance. He never responded when he said he would. After multiple unanswered phone calls, empty text promises, I can only assume he does not want to fix the mess he left. Our gutters perform worse now than before we had them replaced. I really liked and trusted him initially. Unfortunately, he didn't deliver and left us with an unfinished job. I absolutely can not recommend this person. He is not a man of his word. If he truly had an accident that has slowed him down, then tell me you can't finish the job...but at least be up front and responsive. read more
