Awesome beer and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the last time I went was during covid and we had to make a reservation. On the reservation system, it charges you $10 when you confirm (which I support - you don't want people making reservations and not showing) but it says that the $10 will be applied to your bill. That never happened. Separate charges in full for both the bill and the reservation! Thievery "Would you like some beer with your head?" In fairness, I did order the oatmeal stout on nitro, and nitro tends to have a bigger head. Though I thought the head on that one was quite excessive when it took up nearly half the glass (see photo). I do think they have good beer, and I want to come back, but they definitely need to figure things out on their end. They sure have no problem yelling at you if you walk on the wrong side of their taped lines for social distancing or leave your table to pick up takeout/go to the bathroom. Great rooftop with an awesome view. Will be a good spot as it gets cooler too - looked like they had heaters and fire pits! IPA selection isn't much but the hazy is good and they had a smoked helles that tasted like bacon - easy to drink and tasty. They do have a tv downstairs for football! The beer was great. We had to sit outside because we couldn't take our children on the rooftop and the rest of the seating area was reserved for a party. Because we were outside, I think we were forgotten. A server came out and got our first order. She was...surly. It didn't appear she liked her job much. Joyride is a fun brewery near Sloan's lake. I've been coming to this pet friendly establishment for Tuesday night trivia since last year. Host Dave comes up with the best questions. The staff is great and always very friendly. Their beer ranges from light to dark, with some flavors changing seasonally. You are allowed to bring outside food in, and there is always a food truck available. One of my favorite trucks that parks here is Dos Gringos. Go here if you want to feel like a local. Seriously, it's worth the Uber/Lyft ride from your stuffy downtown hotel. Had that classic neighborhood brewery vibe: nice people, cute dogs, good sun, and tasty beer. There was a dude in here with a parrot that got into a massive argument with the bartender about the merits of having his animal in the brewery, since there were dogs in the brewery. Turns out that since this place isn't *technically* in Denver, but rather in a 8x8 block "city" named Edgewater, the dog rules of Denver do not apply! Seriously, so many doggos. I was in heaven. Joyride is awesome!!! Amazing beers with so many great choices. Huge comfortable spaces, both upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs patio has great views of Sloans Lake. Heaters for winter and newly installed misters for summer. Super friendly staff: Sarah and Kevin rock!!! We had such a great time at Joyride. Ugh, I still can't get over HOW this place has such a high rating!!! With all of the great breweries in Denver, I had high hopes for this one but it was a huge let down. It came highly recommended by a few folks so we gave it a go. This place was packed so we grabbed the first table we saw outside. Quite a few folks have commented on the awful service so I won't go there. Let's just say hubs really wanted a beer so waiting on a server wasn't an option. Hubs ordered the white stout and I got the saison. Both were barely drinkable. Normally we hate to see beer go to waste but this was the exception. The stout left the worst taste in our mouth that we couldn't fathom drinking it beyond 3 sips (1: ugh; 2: it'll get better; 3: nope, it's the worst). The saison wasn't much better but at least we were able to get at least 6 sips outta that one. Again, not sure how this place has such a high rating...must be the lakeside location... read more

We went here yesterday and had a wonderful experience! The staff is super friendly and they have a wide variety of beer for all different taste buds. On Sundays, they will play the NFL games. A super chill brewery with plenty of tables and they had a food truck outside as well. read more

For one thing, the logo is phenomenal. The location by Sloans lake is also prime. I've only sat downstairs by the garage door windows - it's for a great inside/outside feel. I've been here a few times and the different beers I've tried have all been good. I had a nice time here on a Saturday morning before some car work. They have an active location on the street, and nice seating to soak in the sun. Their tap list isn't huge but they have all the main beers here. People came in more and more and it got crowded at the end too, great for them on a Saturday. The roof top is open peeps!!! Been coming here for a bit, the roof too was a brilliant idea. The views of Sloan's lake are amazing. Wish the beer selection was a little more broad, could have just caught them in the middle of a low. I really like the different choices in good truck that frequent there, there is always US Thai a few doors down. They are pretty good too. Such a fun brewery and always a good time! I've been a handful of times (usually after hiking) and figured it's about time to write a review. I will preface and say that I don't love beer - so this is more purely about the Sours and Seltzer and ambiance. Drinks: Sour and Seltzer both are good. The Seltzer is much more of a heavy seltzer, more like a beer, than it is a true seltzer. Makes sense given it's at a brewery :) Really good regardless. And the sour is always one of my favorites. Ambiance: It's usually pretty crowded and always a great and chill vibe. Things are less crowded now due to the pandemic, but they sure do make you feel safe and protected. The windows were open and we got to sit by them which was nice for an extra breeze. (I somehow usually end up in the same spot). Dogs are usually allowed which is also always a plus in my book. The TVs are also nice for sports - or in the sake of this past weekend watching cute and happy animals. An extra way to make my day! read more

Sucks they don't allow dogs inside anymore, that was a major reason I went. This is a huge bummer as I seek out dog friendly inside places. Added our name to the list and expected an hour wait. Headed to the market for dinner and just as we finished our meal we received our text to let us know that our table was ready. Meanwhile, the staff are drinking behind the bar completely oblivious that they had a customer waiting. I absolutely love this brewery! It really feels like the TV show "Cheers" when you walk in where everyone knows everyone. All the people here are very friendly and if you go often enough you will absolutely start to become buds with some of the locals here! It's got a great atmosphere, large, long, community high top tables, garage-style windows/clear walls that give you a great view of Sloan's lake. The beers are always on point and great for each season. They always have a good truck out front and usually special events multiple times a month. They also have an outdoor area in the back that is fun during warmer months. Football Sundays are alway a great time here because they have a ton of TVs and will put on the specific football team you want to see. It's like a TV commercial where fans wearing there different respective football team's gear cluster together in different sections - it makes watching sports a whole lot more fun with great people around. I especially love the Bear Paw Oatmeal Stout at Joyride. They have a Great bar and they raise the garage doors on nice days and Voila' there is a bar that faces the street. This bar overcharged my card by more then $50 on a $24 tab. The service was horrible and he decided to buy him self and the rest of the staff a round on my card. I had to go back down there and demand a refund which they immediately did because he and his manager knew they did me wrong.
