Working with the Joyfully Co team from the initial call when we were still on the hunt for a planner to execution has been great. We first talked to Hannah who was very kind and patient in answering our questions as we better understood expectations of wedding planning and the packages Joyfully Co had to offer. We never felt pressure from Hannah to hire them as our planner and she made us feel heard and seen. We ended up working with them and booked the 'Love' package which focused on designing our wedding with month & day of coordinating with their founder, Blaire! We booked them pretty early on and once things picked up they were great to work with. We worked a lot with Blaire (our main planner), Hannah and Sharon! All 3 ladies were so helpful and great in communication - which was what I really valued and appreciated a lot. The whole planning process for the design was so smooth. They asked us for a pinterest board of our inspo, then created a proposal slide deck on designs - and that's when I realized their attention to detail was crazy. I had an image that I liked and they thought I wanted it down to the tee, like wanting a chest for the card box, which they even FOUND a site of where I could buy one! Because we went with the Love package - we were responsibly to book our vendors, but they went above and beyond & recommended us vendors we had a hard time finding (like photography, cake, HMUA). We ended up going with a lot of their recommendations and LOVED them all! Months leading up to the wedding, the meetings picked up and check-ins came more. They guided us well and really wrote down every detail we (mainly me lol) wanted. They were sooo patient and offered so many different designs for signage! They made sure everything was something we're happy with, and if we wanted any changes - they'd make them asap. The day of was so smooth - I found myself hardly seeing them except a few times or when Blaire would give us the cue or ask us if we needed anything. I feel planners & coordinators don't get enough recognition as they work behind the scenes but they were fantastic. I don't even know if there were any problems that happened day of - which was great! We were pretty stress free and any last minute changes they'd ask us to make sure it's okay or not. I truly don't know how they can be under all that stress and still smile and make things look so easy. They placed all our DIY stuff beautifully and helped package everything back into our boxes by the end of the night - AND even into our cars! I legit have nothing missing!! We were so happy to see everything come together - literally my pinterest board come to life! The entire team always made us feel seen and heard - and would give us their advice if we were stuck on whether something worked or not. We got married in October in the OC, and hiring the Joyfully team to help us plan our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We went with the full-service package as my partner and I both work pretty demanding jobs. In hindsight, we are so glad we opted for the full-service package because doing so saved us so much time and stress. There is still so much you have to do and deal with during wedding planning so it was great to know that we had a team behind us taking care of things and keeping us on track. When we were first searching for our wedding coordinator, Joyfully Co's name immediately stood out because joy and laughter were a big part of our own relationship and it was easy to see from their website that their values and ideals matched our own. We only needed the basic day-of-coordination services, so we went for the Joy package, but they provided SO much more than we expected - starting with having their services start 2 months prior. And in our case, they were even able to make an exception to begin our services almost 3 months prior since our venue wanted the walkthrough to be scheduled 2-3 months prior. Yes there were many logistical things that Joyfully Co provided during the planning process from providing various templates, checklists, tips, and vendor communications to also having various rentals available to us. The biggest logistical help they provided is most certainly all of the manpower they provide the day of the wedding for setup and teardown, but the main highlight of our experience with Joyfully Co had to be our senior coordinator, Hannah. Hannah made the entire process SO easy that she was able to help us stay ahead of schedule in our planning. She's thorough, detail-oriented, provided a ton of advice, and so available and proactive that she really felt like a partner to bring our wedding ideas to life. We also loved that Hannah helped us to try to save some money by offering a discount on our candle rentals (discount for minimally used candles vs brand new). Although we didn't end up going with them because they were not the exact color we wanted, the gesture really showed us that she cared. And by the time the day of the wedding arrived, we felt so comfortable and at peace that we could truly both just be present and enjoy the wedding. Rentals by them were also a great addition that helped to take the stress off figuring out the little details and logistics with decor. As for coordination, they truly delivered. They were so helpful and supportive especially in the last week leading up to the event, remaining flexible with last minute changes that arose. I felt very much taken care of during our rehearsal which eased my anxiety going in, and the day played out as well as it could have. We are still getting compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful and well run our wedding was. While I had most of the planning in place, it felt so good to have Joyfully take the reins in the last month and keep everything on track for us on the day of. In sum, I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had Joyfully as part of our wedding dream team. My husband and I got married back in August and we used JoyfullyCo as our day-of Wedding Coordinators.. and let me tell you, they were the sweetest and most helpful girls I have ever met. We are a bit late with our review, but it is not because we weren't satisfied with their services. There are a few commonly used wedding coordinating services in OC, but I am so glad we got to work with the team at JoyfullyCo. We did the day-of coordinating package with them and despite us purchasing that package, they started to prep everything and constantly communicated with us 2 months prior to our wedding. From the first call with Blaire to our multiple calls with our main day-of coordinator, Sharon, everything and everyone was so helpful and so informative. Both my husband and I were pretty particular in how we envisioned our wedding to be and they were so accommodating and patient with us during the entire process. They were also very understanding of our budget and was willing to work with us so we can have our wedding the way we want at the budget that works for us. We also bought our wedding florals and decoration rentals from them. I did not expect much because we didn't want to spend too much on florals, but let me tell you. I was surprised when I walked into our venue because our arch was beautiful, my bouquet was exactly how I envisioned, and everything felt so perfect. I thought that I would be so stressed on the day of our wedding, but the day ended in a blink of an eye and I was rather sad that my time with JoyfullyCo and everything they have done for us has come to an end. Blaire and her Senior team were great! We decided to go ahead and do a mid-tier planning (not design) with Blaire (owner), and had her in our corner starting 4-5 months before the wedding. She helped recommend a few vendors that we needed to book as well as helped reach out to them for us. Once we got to 1-2 months before the wedding, that's when the heavy planning started and we had a few 2-3 hour calls where we just worked out every single detail. She's willing to share her opinions when asked, but also defers to your own personal preference and tastes. This was super helpful for us whenever we were unsure. There were a few times Blaire was unable to make our calls or the in-person production meeting due to some emergency things, but she made it up in giving us a discount on some of their rentals and definitely in all the work she did for the rehearsal and the day of. Blaire was very detail-oriented with attention detail, and is a natural leader. She made the rehearsal very easy, smooth, and everyone knew what they needed to do. On the day of, she helped to handle all the setup and cleanup. We just needed to make sure we brought in all the items (we labeled boxes and went through the design ahead of time). She also helped to create private moments for us, was always watching us in case we needed her, and helped keep things going on time as well as made sure to move things along if the guests started to feel restless. She also made it so that I didn't have to think about the vendors at all! Which was a huge stress relief leading up to the wedding! Afterwards, her team was also able to share all the videos they filmed from my wedding as well! which was such an added plus. TLDR: nothing went wrong with my wedding!
