Absolutely incredible. I do not have enough good things to say about Emily and her service. She is patient, organized, fun, on top of everything from start to finish. I went into wedding day with full confidence because of her and truly made my day so special. She did not skip a beat. Emily completed everything in a timely manner and asked all of the right questions to ensure everything went smoothly on wedding day. I would hire Emily again in a heartbeat and would recommend her to anyone getting married. read more

There are simply not enough good things to say about Events by Emily. Not only did she go above and beyond to make our wedding day special, but along the way, we felt supported, valued, and celebrated throughout the planning process. Morgan, Ella, Todd, and Drue were SO much fun to have with us on the day, and were exceedingly swift with every need we could've thought of (even the ones we didn't!) It could not be clearer how passionate Emily is about working with couples of all kinds, and that made all the difference for our wedding! She was so amazing to work with and was so flexible with us; plus, her local wedding network is unmatched. I cannot recommend Emily and her team enough! read more

Having Emily was the best best best decision we made for the two tumultuous years of wedding planning during the worldwide pandemic, starting summer 2019 until the summer of 2021. This is probably longer than an average time to work with your wedding planner, but never did Emily ever disappoint us with a single planning component or process. She is obviously detail-oriented and organized, but what differentiates Emily from other planners is that she really enjoys what she does. She was genuinely happy for us when we had our backyard Zoom wedding in 2020, took a cute screenshot of us happily exiting the aisle on Zoom, and said, "This is my favorite picture of you guys!" At our real celebration with all our friends and family in 2021, she took a lot of amazing pictures and videos on her phone and sent them to us. Not a single thing went wrong on our special day: Emily and her team helped us enjoy our time with our guests and party without worries. It was our dream wedding. I was in my first years of medical school, which meant that I had less time than other brides. We were also far away from our Long Beach venue, living in the Pacific Northwest. But Emily was flexible with these circumstances and communicated with our photo/video, flower, venue, DJ vendors about the logistics, postponing due to the pandemic, etc., while passing us the baton at the proper time when we needed to make decisions or talk to the vendors ourselves. I don't know how other people plan their weddings, but we would not have been able to without Emily. She worked through the pandemic and worked across states. Thank you, Emily and her team, for the amazing work. read more

I've had the pleasure i'm working with Emily on multiple occasions. She is absolutely positively a breath of fresh air and light up any room she enters. She brings that energy and enthusiasm to all of her projects and truly cares about the people she works for and with. Her creativity, ability to make each occasion special and personalized are only a few the many things that makes her extraordinary. No matter how big or small the event is, she treats it like the most important event ever, every time. read more

We met Emily at the ExpoBridal show in January 2017 in Anaheim and our first impressions were that she was warm, friendly, and professional. Though we were already in contact with several other wedding coordination companies that were recommended by our venue, we were so impressed with Emily, that we decided almost immediately to sign with her for month-of wedding coordination for our January 2018 wedding. We had our share of stressful moments related to vendors and family on the month of our wedding. We had one issue with a vendor double-booking our wedding date. Emily helped us with quickly finding a last-minute replacement who ended up doing amazing work! It saved us a lot of unnecessary stress. No matter what, Emily always had a level head and she gave practical feedback that helped us make clear decisions. She took control of coordinating the timelines with our vendors and she made it possible for us to enjoy our wedding without having to worry about the details of our event. She also provided helpful recommendations for some vendors that would be great to work with. Another outstanding characteristic about Emily is that she was great with open communication. Even if we were not looking for a quick response, during the month of the wedding, she often responded to emails or texts quickly. And when it came to communicating with vendors, she was also on top of everything. She knew exactly what we wanted and she handled things and advocated for us in the way we would have wanted for it to be done. It was always evident that she absolutely cared about our event and all the details and logistics for our event. And that was so meaningful to us. All of our vendors confirmed that she was an absolute joy to work with. They appreciated her kindness, her attentiveness, and her attention to detail. (We know this was true because their feedback was consistently unsolicited by us!) My family even complimented how helpful and pleasant it was to have Emily and her team to run the show. Emily and her two assistants made sure all our needs were taken care of for our wedding. They did a wonderful job with managing our vendor team, with assisting with the setup of key décor, and with making sure we were able to enjoy our moment. We highly recommend Emily and her team to you! She was our favorite person to work with! read more

Emily and her team were amazing to work with! She made the whole process stress-free and fun! She is very detail oriented and easy to communicate with! Emily is so warm and kind, you can immediately tell when you get to talk to her. I was looking for a day-of coordinator as our wedding was going to be pretty small and laidback and decided 6 months before our wedding that we were going to have one. A lot of vendors came back with responses saying we need to reach out after we have everything booked or they were not available. It felt impersonal at minimum. Emily was responsive and so easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely wants to get to know you as a couple! It is really refreshing. Most importantly, her team is competent. Emily always remembered our points of discussion, so it felt like a personal experience. Everything ran smoothly and I felt we were in good hands. Very genuine type of feel to this company. All our vendors knew Emily and her team, they all had really great experiences with her and everyone worked together so well!! read more

My husband and I hired Emily for our wedding on 10/2/2020 at Hotel Maya in Long Beach, CA and we are SO glad we did!!!! We had a Covid wedding, so only a ceremony, but let me tell you - it wouldn't have gone as perfectly as it did without Emily. She was super helpful during the entire planning process, provided great advice and was always there when I needed her. Also, about an hour before I was walking down the aisle, my nail broke! And who came to the rescue with MULTIPLE types of super glues!? EMILY!!!!!!!! I'll never forget that and I still thank her to this day for having that on hand! Lol We highly highly recommend Emily's event planning services for any event. read more

Emily and her team are amazing, she did such a great job and I couldn't be happier. Because of her and her wonderful team my husband and I got to enjoy and actually experience our wedding instead of running it. She even took care of moving the ceremony indoors as it rained on our day. From the consultation to mid appointments at the venue and day of Emily handled it all. What really stood out to me is that she took care of contacting our vendors for everything day of, a few weeks out. This took loads off of us and allowed us to spend more time with our families, several of whom flew from out of town. As I mentioned it rained on our wedding day and Emily stayed calm the entire time while also being clear when we needed to make decisions. Not once did she lose her cool which really helped us stay calm. I can't say enough good things about how professional she and her whole team are. Do yourself a favor and hire her! It was certainly the best decision we made :) read more

Emily and her team were amazing. Emily was able to provide us a very clear timeline, she worked with us to find out the type of day we wanted to have and organized they day to accomplish our vision. OMG!! We do not know where to begin!! My husband and I were attempting to plan a wedding all by ourselves with our busy schedule!! Thank goodness we found Emily six weeks before our wedding! We knew she was going to be amazing from the moment we met her! We sat down and talked about what we had planned and she brought up many important details we hadn't even thought about. From that point on she was super involved with helping us get everything ready in time and checking in with all of our vendors. The day of our wedding everything went perfect! She made sure to bring our vision to life and we honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. She will definitely keep you at ease on your wedding day and allow you to enjoy every moment of it. Perfect organizer of your high-end events! I've had the chance to work with Emily on a couple of events now, and her team is incredible! Organized, friendly, flexible, and positive. All the things you want when trusting someone with your most important days. Emily has also developed a good reputation with vendors and venues which means she's able to make expert recommendations to her clients, and pull the best out of those working together to make the events happen. But the best evidence for her work is the smiles and accolades she receives from her brides and clients at the end of each event. read more

I feel SO bad it's taken two years to do this review but better late than never! About three years ago, my then fiancé (now husband) and I met Emily at a wedding show weekend and we just clicked. She was so sweet and so knowledgeable! She made us feel comfortable and so we booked her as our Day-of coordinator for our wedding. She was constantly reaching out to us every month to make sure things were going ok and asking if we had any questions. The day of the wedding she was on time, if not early, and she handled everything with such grace and professionalism that there was absolutely nothing to worry about. Our wedding went off without a hitch! You cannot go wrong by working with Emily! read more

Professional. Thoughtful. Patient. Assertive. Great listener. Upbeat. Positive. Flexible. My Sanity. Receptive to critiques. Easy to work with. These are some of the words and phrases that come to mind when I think of my experience with Emily. SUMMARY We hired Emily for Day-Of Coordination services. But we got more than what we paid for - this is a positive. We got to work with her for over two months prior to the event. She attended one of our site visits a month prior to the event, the Rehearsal the day before the event, brought an Assistant for our event, and even housed some of our decorations during the Rehearsal. Emily is a true professional and delight to work with. She is an asset to any event with her combination of organizational skills, positive and observant attitude, and quick troubleshooting mind. THE EVENT: Sept 2016 Wedding. 125 guests. Location: Cherry Valley, CA. Venue: Highland Springs Resort (90 miles outside of LA - so consider that when I mention her attending site visits) FIRST IMPRESSSIONS: Great. I met Emily at a Bridal Show. So she was not a recommendation, but someone I discovered on my own. [I share this because everyone has a different mantra on how they discover their vendors.] What drew me to Emily's booth was that it was clean, simple, and nice. She was selling her Coordination Services and her booth presence made that clear. I liked that because I was looking for a Coordinator and not a Coordinator/MC/Florist/... When I met Emily I instantly liked her because she was 1) not pushy about me hiring her, 2) not presumptive about my readiness - instead she asked me questions about my process in order to gauge this for herself. Other Coordinators I had met at shows would offer me unsolicited advice and then go on to tell me how wonderful they are; and yet rarely took the time to ask more than the generic wedding event questions of 1) do you have a coordinator? 2) what's your budget? 3) when's your event? Those questions are obvious. No, Emily asked me "Why do you think you need a Coordinator?" This question indicated to me that she wanted to be sure that I knew what I wanted. WORKING WITH EMILY: Great Weddings are (sadly) not just about the bride and groom. They are about keeping these two sane. Not only did Emily provide thoughtful advice on how to organize and present information (e.g. invitations), but she was also a great sounding board during moments when the stresses of planning and managing other (idiot) vendors were reaching peak levels. I am an extremely detail oriented person. This was my wedding right? and Emily cannot read my mind. Some people can see this as being a micro-manager or overbearing. But instead, Emily encouraged my attention to detail because she confirmed 1) She can't read my mind and 2) it helped her key in on what areas I was missing, to which we relied on her experience and expertise. I apologize to Emily for taking so long to write this review. To her credit, she has also been helping me deal with some of the post-wedding issues and stresses, such as collecting items from the event and dealing with vendors who continue to be problems (yes, you are not done after the wedding finishes, sadly). ANOTHER THING A friend of mine who was getting married in October (2016) was experiencing issues with his Coordinator (who was very unresponsive and did not at all listen to his clients about their needs) contacted me to ask about Emily's services. He was so impressed by her work during our wedding that he considered hiring her to help save his wedding. When I shared with Emily my friend's problem, she came in to the rescue to consult with my friend to understand this situation. LASTLY I wholeheartedly recommend Emily for your event. read more

Everybody on my wedding court loved Emily and her team, including me. She was so helpful as we planned from South America, and managed to work around all my travels. I only needed to talk to her once to know she was well-experienced and could get the job done well and, importantly, with the kind of positive energy you want surrounding your special day. From planning to day-of, I was very satisfied with my decision to work with Emily. She was also helpful as I considered additional vendors, and I was happy with the recommendations. It was especially great to have two bilingual assistants on the day of. Emily was our wedding MVP!!! We had fun nicknaming her the bulldog because she flat out gets Sh*t done! When you think of a quality that would make for a great wedding planner, she not only has it... but has mastered it! I thought I was going to convince my family members to set up and tear down all my DIY wedding decor and centerpieces. That would have been a HUGE mistake and taken them away from the party an hour early to be sure we were out of my venue right at 11pm. I was so fortunate to stumble upon Emily setting up for an event 3 weeks before my wedding and I knew right away I needed her expertise and eye for detail! She did such a fantastic job setting up and working with what I had bought and made my vision come to life. (Wayyyy better than any family member could have no doubt!) I was so pleased with how it all turned out!! At the end of the night she helped clean up and organize my items so the venue didn't charge me and my family could party until the very end. Our wedding date was August 1, 2020. What a crazy year to get married. Our original wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic and we rescheduled for our new date. Emily has been there since before the pandemic helping us and guiding us through the details of our wedding. When I was discouraged and stressed about everything, Emily reached out to me with words of encouragement. She advocated for us so our venue would still host our ceremony. She was informative about regulations and what guidelines we all had to follow so we could still have our ceremony. Long story short. We had our ceremony at the venue we originally planned to have it at because Emily was really pushing for them to host it. During the week of our wedding she was there every step of the way. She was contacting all our vendors, she was giving us the information needed to follow CDC guidelines. She is very detail oriented and organized. She had created timelines and schedule for us to follow, which was great because we were already stressed and it made everything so much easier. She guided us through our dress rehearsal and had everything organized and planned out. We would have been so lost without Emily and who knows if we would have even had a wedding during this pandemic. She was there for us through all the ups and downs. She was truly God sent and our wedding was better than we could have imagined. Thank you again Emily. read more

However after talking with Emily over the phone I was sold. And let me tell you, it was the best investment we made for our wedding. Emily is professional, organized and so much fun. She helped me find vendors that were reliable. The months leading up to the wedding she helped me stay on task. The day of the wedding it was important to me that I could find someone who would be able to catch my vision for the wedding and make it all come together for that big day. I met Emily when she coordinated a wedding at the venue I work at. After working on our client's wedding together, I knew I would hire her for my Big Day. I got married May 19, 2018 at Coyote Hills Golf Course. Emily was one of the first vendors I hired once we set our date. Being an event planner, I wanted to do most of the details with vendors leading up to the wedding, however, I knew with Emily by my side the day of, we would have a stress free wedding day. The month leading up to the wedding I started looping her in with some of the other vendors, and she had already started reaching out on my behalf! It was awesome to just start looking forward to the big day, rather than worrying about the little details leading up to it. Emily took all of our little decor items the day of our rehearsal and set everything up exactly as I had envisioned it! After interviewing and speaking to 4 coordinators, we weren't set on a coordinator until we discovered Emily through YELP. We loved the packages and prices she had to offer, we loved speaking to her over the phone, and we signed with her because she felt like someone that we can trust. We did the day of coordinating option, and leading up to the day of the wedding, Emily was very helpful with recommending vendors and was very quick in responding to emails. Our bridal party and family members met Emily on Rehearsal day and everyone was asking me who she was. Like, hellooooooo, she's our coordinator (hair flip). Everyone lOVEEEEED her. Emily and her team came THROUGH for our wedding. I'm no expert in wedding coordinating, but I felt like coordinating a wedding like ours would be a pain in the butt. Our wedding was set on the beach in Salt Creek Beach, and we basically built a venue from the ground up. We had a ton of vendors that they had to deal with BUT our beach wedding was no match for team Emily. Everything went smoothly in my eyes, and the day was PERRFECT thanks to Emily and her team. The only problem we had leading up to the wedding was with a florist that couldn't create our arch vision and deliver the flowers. Thankfully, Emily had a solution for us, and got us another Florist that was willing to help... LAST MINUTEEE! We almost didn't hire a coordinator but looking back we are SOO glad we did. I hired Emily back in October, a few weeks after messaging with her on Thumbtack. I was extremely weary of hiring someone I hadn't met, especially since, for all I know she could just be scamming me! I even stalked her on LinkedIn to make sure she was legit!! But after meeting up in person and considering the services she offered, my now-husband and I decided to hire her. We emailed back and forth for the next nine months as I struggled through wedding planning. She gave me a few contacts for vendors I needed, and although I didn't use them in the end, it was good to consider my options and use their quotes to determine what services I can get, given the budget I have. Because I hired Emily as a day-of coordinator, I didn't really talk to her extensively until 1-2 months before. I really appreciate that we'd met up with my church and venue contacts to help me figure out what else I needed to have done before the wedding. Now, I'm the type of person who tends to take control, and it's a bit difficult for me to yield, even when I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'm super grateful that even though I had a couple of difficult wedding contacts to deal with, Emily didn't complain and still got the information she needed from them. I witnessed that firsthand in dealing with my venue contact. Also, the way weddings are handled at my Church seem a little restrictive, so I'm glad Emily made sure everything was communicated properly between the Church and my videographer about information in shooting the ceremony. On the day of the wedding, I still wanted to know the sequence of events as they were happening as my way of micromanaging, but overall I am soo glad that Emily and her assistant Kristen (sp?) actually managed everything. They even stopped by at the hotel to distribute flowers and give me and my husband some food. I really didn't have to do anything, and she and Kristen set up the reception venue very nicely, even though I didn't make a ton of decorations, and the whole evening went pretty smoothly. I had the worst headache ever, halfway through the reception, and I am so relieved that she gave me a bunch of Advil to relieve my head. Emily and Kristen stayed until the end of the wedding to make sure all the gifts and decorations were packed away and put into the right cars. Again, thank you so much, Emily and Kristen, for all the work that you did, because I probably would have been flipping out more on the day of my weddingm, without you two. You truly did a phenomenal job, following up quickly in my emails, communicating with my vendors (especially my difficult ones!), and managing the wedding day from start to finish, all with a smile on your face. I was tense during most of the process of wedding planning and on the actual day of, yet you handled everything so professionally and with such a positive attitude, that you did help me lighten up a bit. It's been an adventure, and I'd recommend that anyone who'd like a reliable, trustworthy wedding planner to hire Emily. She went above and beyond as my day-of coordinator, and although I don't plan to get married again/renew vows anytime soon, I would definitely hire her again, if I could. read more

The most earnest piece of advice I could give to anyone newly engaged is simply to hire Emily immediately! Your fragile sense of sanity will thank me later. I have had the pleasure of knowing Emily since 2010 and was thrilled when she decided to form her own company. I was positive that her previous wedding service experience would couple flawlessly with her abundant artistic talents, making her a collaborating, coordinating force to be reckoned with! She was the first person I called (after my mom) when my wife proposed. Emily's business structure is also extremely flexible; she offers complete-process services as well as a la carte / day-of assistance, depending on each couple's needs. Having no realistic idea of what I was about to step into, I went with full-immersion Emily! She walked me through each part of the process, beginning with an aesthetic brainstorming session. Indoor/Outdoor, Rustic/Traditional, 100 guests/400 guests - the big ticket items. These initial questions helped me finally figure out what felt best for the wedding. Simple and elegant. Clean lines, a silver accent, candle light and near the ocean. With this theme in place, Emily sent me budget-conscious info and links to everything. Additionally, whenever I had a question, Emily swooped in! I remember dropping off a check to our venue and there was some confusion about whether or not reception chairs were included in the rental price. Of course I didn't think to ask this question immediately. Instead I sent Emily a panicked text at 3 am. Rather than let me stress about it, Emily took the reins and figured out that they were included, I was simply being offered an upgraded option. If I had to pick on Superhero moment that best portrays Emily's style, it would be this: Two weeks before the wedding, our DJ canceled. She did not contact me directly, but broke the news to Emily instead, which was probably for the best. A little later Emily called me and said, "Ok here is the situation and here are my three solutions." In literally a manner of hours we secured another DJ and were back on track, which I solely attribute to the wealth of knowledge and networking skills from which Emily draws. I am certain that was not the only hiccup of the wedding, but it was the only one Emily even had to involve me in. Anything else was handled by her, which allowed Ann and me to soak up every bit of our beautiful day. Thank you Emily, I couldn't have made my fairytale wedding a reality without you! read more

Events by Emily - Emily is the best! - Wedding Planning Near Me

It's taken me forever to write this review. Part of the reason My now wife and I needed Emily so much :P Emily planned our wedding at the Mayan Hotel in Long Beach. We were pretty last minute on booking EVERYTHING and knowing that we had Emily with us really did help us out. Seriously, who books a wedding on a Monday of Memorial day right!?!?! Emily is truly amazing. She was helpful in all ways possible. Made suggestions, but never overbearing. She made sure everything went well for us. We definitely had a different type of wedding celebration, and although I could tell Emily was hesitant on some things we wanted, she really made it all work. Imagine, the cake not arriving in time, being closed on the day of our wedding, and her having to Instagram them to make sure the cake arrived. That's definitely a story to remember! Honestly, I don't think Emily could have done anything more to help us. She truly was perfect for us and our wedding day. If anyone has reservations about booking Emily, please don't, she truly is what you are looking for in a wedding day of coordinator. read more

Where to even begin! :) I met Emily and her team through my sister in law. She had used Emily as her wedding coordinator and said I HAD TO HIRE EMILY. I thought I was a pretty organized and creative person, but Emily was above and beyond organized and amazing! She made everything I hoped and dreamed for my wedding more than I could ever ask for! She took every little bit of information I gave her and created a magical wedding day! She thought of the things I forgot, and added her own twist on decor, placements for things that I was unsure about. We had an initial meeting and then a couple meetings right before the wedding to finish up our custom timeline, and all the information about every vendor. Emily then took over everything for me! She contacted each vendor and gave them contact info and the timeline. She made sure everyone knew when to be at the venue, and what my vision was. :) She is truly one of the most genuine and selfless people I know. She puts her heart into her work and makes sure your vision of your wedding is exactly what you hoped for if not better. :) Along with Emily being amazing her two assistants that came with her were phenomenal as well! I had Amanda and Kumary and they both were on top of everything! Amanda was awesome at making sure guests didn't see us before the wedding during our "first look". They took care of moving gifts and decorations to our cars after the wedding (all the little stuff you don't think about when you're saying bye to all your guests). Overall I couldn't be more pleased and happy with how Events by Emily worked for my wedding!!! She has become my families event coordinator and a family friend! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! Emily is an amazing person. She's personable, respectful, hard working and professional. Thank you all so much for an unforgettable wedding day! I am so thankful to have found Emily and use her as my Day Of Coordinator, she was amazing! Emily is very organized, professional, prompt with her emails, and very easy to work with. Since I was the first one out of my friends to get married, I had a lot of wedding questions and she helped me answer all of them. One month before my wedding, she basically became the liaison between me and the other vendors. Emily helped make sure that all of my wedding concerns were taken care of and that all of my vendors knew what they were doing on the day of. She also led the rehearsal and helped my wedding day run smoothly. Wedding planning is stressful enough and having a Day Of Coordinator is such a big help! I can't imagine going through my wedding without the help of my Day Of Coordinator. Emily went above and beyond what she was expected to do. I needed someone to drop off food for me and my bridesmaids early in the morning at a hotel that was 30 minutes away from our ceremony and reception site. It really was out of the way, but Emily was able to squeeze that into her already busy schedule. Because of her, my bridesmaids and I were able to relax and enjoy a nice brunch while getting ready! Thanks, Emily! I'm a pretty picky bride and I wanted the guest book, candy buffet, greeting table, gift table, and guest tables to be set up a certain way. I wrote Emily multiple long emails on how I wanted everything set up at the reception and she did everything exactly how I wanted it. Everything was perfect! She worked really hard as our wedding planner and always gave me her undivided attention, even though she had so many other weddings to deal with at the same time! Events by Emily is AMAZING!!! I just got married and hiring Events by Emily for my day of wedding coordinator was one of the best things I did during the wedding planning process. I looked into quite a few wedding planners/coordinators before deciding on Events by Emily. What made me pick her was her AWESOME PERSONALITY. Emily is so sweet and nice, she really listens to everything you say and addresses all your concerns in a way that makes you feel like she really cares, which she really does! You are able to contact her via phone or email and ask her any questions, which she is always happy to answer. Other wedding planners/coordinators don't allow you to freely contact them anytime which I understand since everyone's time is important. But it gave me peace of mind knowing that I had Emily to contact if I needed during the wedding planning process. Also, what I really appreciated about Emily was that SHE REPLIES SUPER QUICK to all calls/emails/texts. Not all wedding vendors reply quickly; which can make wedding planning more stressful and also give you some worry about your wedding vendor. However, the more I worked with Emily; the less stressed I felt because I knew that Emily was on top of everything. Of all vendors, you WANT your wedding coordinator to be prompt at replying, trust me. Before I hired Emily, Emily had told me upfront that she was not going to be available to personally be at my wedding as she already made a commitment to another wedding. However, she could have her lead coordinator, Amanda, be my day of wedding coordinator. Like Emily, Amanda has an AWESOME PERSONALITY and was super easy to work with. Amanda is seriously an angel, she is sooooo sweet. Like Emily, Amanda was super prompt at replying to emails/texts/calls. Amanda and Emily always arrived early to all meetings. Amanda executed the rehearsal flawlessly. Moreover, Amanda was hands down the best wedding coordinator I could have asked for during my wedding. My wedding day was perfection. Amanda and her 2 assistants did a great job making sure everything flowed smoothly during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I took large group photos with my whole extended family and my friends after the ceremony and Amanda handled it like a pro! Mind you, I have a LARGE asian family and Amanda was able to wrangle everyone together for our family pictures. Also, Amanda and her assistants did a great job monitoring our gift table and making sure all guests dropped off their cards in the card box so they can be put away securely before the reception since my husband and I were not going to be going around to each table to greet our guests as is common in a traditional asian wedding. This gave us more free time to enjoy our wedding. Amanda was definitely on top of the timeline, we were pretty much ahead of schedule or on time with everything the whole night. I had 3 different dresses and Amanda/team was there to get me and help me with each dress change. My feet were hurting as I did not break in my heels as much as I should have before the wedding, but no biggie, because I had a pair of back up wedges which Amanda/team were able to grab for me in my bridal suite and help me switch into discreetly during the reception at the sweetheart table. Throughout the night, I kept getting compliments from friends and family about how great Amanda/team were. Specifically my parents, my husband's parents, my bridal party all raved at how kind, professional, and hard working Amanda/team were. They seriously TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. They set up all the important items including decor items. Amanda even gave my officiant our marriage license paperwork to fill out for us after the ceremony. At the end of the night, they cleaned up everything, boxed everything away neatly, and put it into the designated car. I was surprised at how meticulously everything was packed and put away. Amanda even packed my wedding bouquets and sweetheart table flowers for me to take home without me asking her to do so. She also packed and put away my dresses and shoes. Seriously, everything was taken care of. My parents stayed at the venue until the very end of the wedding to make sure everything was put away and in order; and my mom was so impressed with Amanda/team. My mom said she didn't have to do anything and that Amanda/team TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. My wedding was NYE and it was quite a party to say the least. All my guests said they had a blast and that it was one of the most fun weddings they have attended. I definitely had a lot of fun. For some brides, their wedding day can be stressful but for me, my wedding day was pure joy and fun. THANK YOU Events by Emily for helping make my wedding day the best day of my and my husband's life. Emily and Amanda, you both are AMAZING!!!! If you are on the fence about getting a wedding coordinator, just do it. Trust me, you will thank yourself later. And do yourself a favor, hire Events by Emily today!!! read more

Emily is the best deal in the industry. She kept me sane and ensured I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. She thought of everything and was so organized, my vendors actually thanked me for having her coordinate everything. They said it was one of the smoothest events they've ever worked. She maintained great communication, found solutions to everything and was so much fun to work with. read more

Events by Emily - Emily, her assistant Amanda and us having fun and enjoying the day thanks to Events By Emily! - Wedding Planning Near Me

The best thing we got for the wedding was Emily as our coordinator. She went above and beyond for months before, the whole day-of, and days after the wedding. She took the stress off of wedding planning. She dealt with the vendors who screwed up during the wedding and she made sure that my husband and I felt that everything was going smoothly the whole day-of. There was a lot going on behind the scenes on the day-of that we did not know much about until afterwards and we are so grateful for that. Emily is caring, hard working, professional, and an excellent listener. She did everything we asked, plus more. She is well worth your money. I wouldn't hire anyone else. read more

My daughter and son-in-law got married in November and Emily and her crew were the backbone of the entire wedding day! I'm so happy I found Emily, she is a real pro. She was so knowledgable about every single aspect of the wedding. We found all of our vendors on our own, but as soon as we hired Emily she started communicating with all of them and making sure every one of them had all of the correct details for the event. Meeting with her to plan the day was so essential. She has a wealth of knowledge and is very detail-oriented. She is so Top Notch at every aspect of wedding planning. Her team worked so hard on the wedding day to make sure the the day was perfect... and it was! I would not hesitate to recommend Emily to anyone and everyone, especially any Mother-of-the-Bride who wants a worry-free day! Thank you, Emily! You are truly THE BEST! read more
