    My Maid of Honor raving about Candice 2 weeks after our wedding is over!

    Let me start off by saying that I think most people would agree that having a talented and experienced wedding planner is the #1 thing you need for a seamless, successful day. This fact itself underscores why I was SO particular on who to hire when I first got engaged. I think I had 10+ consultations with planners when all was said and done. I read every single review on every site for every planner and it was a no brainer to book with Candice after our first call. When I tell you she is THE most responsive, kind, strategic, and detail-oriented planner...take my word for it! I can't even begin to put in words how much she delivered for us. Her team also assisted us with our rehearsal and everyone that works for her (no surprise) is a gem as well. The amount of compliments I got on Candice from my bridesmaids and my family is when you truly know you have a stand out planner! If you are reading this review, please know that I give my 100% full confidence that you will have the most beautiful and organized wedding if you book Candice and team Engaged Events for your affair! Not many people go on their honeymoon and are thinking of being excited to get home to write a review for their wedding planner if that shows you how good she is! She worked so hard to make sure every vendor we selected delivered leading up to the event and day of and I truly feel like she is a match maker when it comes to getting you the perfect wedding team. I'm truly sad my wedding is over because I will miss talking to Candice! My MOH is still talking about her and is ready to hire her for her wedding when she gets engaged!

    CANDICE seriously made our amazing wedding what it was, I cannot say enough good things which makes this review hard to write since I can't decide how to explain all she did for us in words. First, let me just say that not only was she amazing in wedding planning and everything that goes with it, but she has become a friend through the whole experience. We really enjoyed our time "hanging out" wedding planning with her. While that may sound corny, planning a large wedding is no joke (which is how I knew I needed her) and when I would get stressed, she very easily made me more calm and flipped things around so I saw the good in every part of it. For that, I am eternally grateful and confident there is not another wedding planner out there that's better! We booked Engaged Events for full wedding planning and I would do that again in a heartbeat. This meant that Candice helped us book every vendor, and I'm really glad I had her input. Also, she was extremely knowledgeable about where it was important to spend money. She also helped us with our budget! On the day of, Candice kept everyone organized and on time, which is no small feat. Everything on our wedding day went so smoothly. The only hiccup was when the transportation was late, and Candice handled that situation like a champ. I have a big family, and we had a bridal party of 10, and she kept everyone organized, up to date on what was going on, and made sure everyone was having a good time. Everyone in our bridal party, all our vendors, the hotel, and the church were all seriously impressed with Candice. I had so many people tell me how awesome my wedding planner was. I also had a ton of guests tell me they had no idea I had a planner, which is how I know she did a perfect job! I would recommend Engaged Events to anyone who is looking for the perfect wedding planner. They will go above and beyond to make your wedding day the absolute best day of your life!

    Candice from Engaged Events was our wedding planner and day-of-coordinator for our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas and La Purisima Catholic Church on 08/31/2019. Where do I begin?? She is absolutely one of the most beautiful souls we have ever met. From our first interaction with her, to our multiple check-in meetings, emails, vendor meetings, rehearsal, and the wedding day; she proved to us how she is worth every single penny! Engaged events is professional, organized, punctual, dependable, helpful, perfectly priced, and personable. Candice was the perfect wedding planner and day of coordinator for us. The services of Engaged Events was the best thing we paid for on our wedding journey/day. I am a really organized person and love planning events that most of my friends thought we wouldn't hire a wedding planner and just a day of coordinator... I knew that this wasn't just any event that was being planned but OUR WEDDING! I wanted a professional and seasoned eye watching our decisions and making sure that we stayed on track. My husband and I are so pleased we decided to hire Candice for the planning process in addition to the day of coordination. She really provides such wonderful insight. She recommended vendors to us and we ended up selecting the dream team due to her! Having all our vendors know each other from previous weddings was a key factor to the seamless success we had at our wedding. Candice has worked with so many vendors and she really knows how to organize them all. She can honestly pull off a perfect and beautiful wedding with her eyes closed! Our wedding day went off without a hitch! We had our wedding day take place over two locations: the ceremony at a Catholic church and the reception at Rancho Las Lomas. She was there whenever we needed her no matter the location. By the end of the night, our families complimented us on choosing to work with Engaged Events and how they were so pleasant to interact with.     Candice from engaged events saved me. I was struggling for months planning my wedding nearly single handedly and it is completely overwhelming. We hired her for day of coordination and she started helping about 2 months to go. And what a life saver. I had no idea I was missing so much in my planning. She coordinated necessary meetings (like the final walk through) with all the vendors necessary. I dropped off a box of decor at the rehearsal and on my wedding day everything was displayed beautifully. I didn't have to worry about set up or tear down. When I got back to my hotel room it hit me, I would have had to have someone (or myself) think about picking up the cake topper, the bouquets, the top tier of the cake, the table #'s guest book etc. Holy overwhelming task Batman! Im so thankful that we hired her. She was a total pro and made sure that I was taken care of, even / especially when I didn't know I needed to be taken care of! 12/10 recommend! Worth every single penny!

    I can't even begin to describe how wonderful Candice and her event planning team was for our July 12, 2014 wedding. We found Candice through our venues preferred vendor list and couldn't have been happier to find such a dedicated hard-working coordinator! We worked with her for a year and a half on our wedding and all the little details that brought everything together. Additionally, she helped us with the candy bar labeling as well as the signage, painting the design on our aisle runner, and setting up our memory table. On the day of the wedding I felt like a princess. She had 2 assistants and they all took care of everything. Throughout the day/night she reminded me what to do to ensure the night went perfect. Anything I needed they took care of. I'm actually really sad all the planning is over, because we won't see Candace anymore! I felt like she was part of the family! Candice is so generous and caring. She really took the time to get to know what was important to us. We can't thank her enough for all the hard work she put into our special day. Also an added bonus, she and her staff decorated our wedding suite that evening. It was such a lovely touch and so sweet to do! Candice, we can't thank you enough and are so grateful for everything you did for us!

    Having Candice as my day-of-wedding coordinator was one of the GREATEST decisions that I made. She was the BEST and I am not exaggerating. For weddings, you expect things to not go according to plan or to be a stressful bride on the day of. But with Candice, you will see that things WILL go according to plan and that you will NOT be stressed on your wedding day. I had such a great time and this was largely because of Candice. From the initial meeting, I knew she was 'the one.' (haha!) She is so approachable, kind, and friendly, answering the various questions you have. She is quick to reply to your emails and texts. And she is on top of everything! She gave me a list of to-dos (I don't miss those!), always emailed me reminders, and on both the rehearsal and wedding day, she was SPLENDID. She guided us (bridal party, officiant, & family members) on all the steps that had to be carried out, instantly putting everyone at ease. She also has a timeline and details document that she has from the beginning and she updates it constantly as you find out new information. And these two documents are SUPER important because they give a detailed outline on what is going on with your wedding (even the little details you never thought of or the things happening behind the scene). One detail that especially sticks out is that my photographers were Korean speaking only. And they were not listening to Candice at times, especially when she told them pictures had to be temporarily stopped because it was time for the ceremony. Even though this happened, Candice kept such a positive attitude. She was patient and always respectful. And I will always remember how encouraging she was towards a fearful and stressed out bride. Thank you Candice so much for all that you done for this special day. I am seriously even getting emotional as I am writing this review and thinking about all that Candice did for me. She's great!!! Having her as your wedding coordinator will be one of the best decisions you will make!!!!

    Hire Engaged Events for your wedding day - like, right now! Candice is genuine, friendly, respectful, kind + so much more! From our first initial email conversation, Candice showed true professionalism. She completely understood our vision and assisted along the way. She provided guidance as we had planned a wedding during a pandemic (and she truly showed patience with my crazy ass). The day of our wedding, Candice went above and beyond. She made my WHOLE family feel comfortable, and checked on us throughout the day. She kept us on schedule and made sure to coordinate with all other vendors BEFORE big moments were going to happen. I come from an event background, previously working weddings + events at hotel properties. My biggest fear for my wedding day was that I wasn't going to be able to turn off "work-mode". With Candice and her team, I DID JUST THAT! The day went flawlessly and was so MAGICAL! I owe it all to Engaged Events for allowing me to relax and enjoy the entire day. Kevin and I are so grateful for the Engaged Team!!!

    EVERYONE SHOULD HIRE CANDICE!!! Truly, I can't imagine anyone more kind, capable, knowledgeable and attentive to every single detail. We had so much in limbo with our wedding with the pandemic, shifting from a guest list of 300 to less than 40. I still absolutely feel like I had my dream wedding, even in my parents backyard! Every event is so personalized and special, it has helped us through monumental milestones of family transition, deployment, etc. They have something nice for the parents as well so that they can also enjoy the experience like champagne, lattes, and a lovely seating area. My son Wilder also really enjoyed being a pirate and finding treasure and has joined Ariel for the Elsa and Anna event last year as Olaf, also enjoying the fondu and fun activities the kids were there to enjoy. These experiences are so wonderful because even an hour makes such a big difference to their lives and we don't have to schlep around giant parking lots or worry about extra expenses and lines like at Disney. They just feel special and get the greatest experience for a lot less expenses and hassle. The location by the beach with the nicest folks also makes it great. Sometimes we walk around after or take the ferry and have ice cream. The park across the street is inviting as well.

I booked Adina I believe in 2018 and she is not only professional but she is sweet, humble, and genuine. She worked with us every step and hurdle the pandemic caused. Meaning canceled venues, pushed wedding dates, special requests and even changed wedding design. I can't relay enough of my gratitude to her and her team. When the day of happened all that I dreamed of came to life. She worked with our budget and was realistic with us on what was worth getting to achieve the look and experience we wanted on our special day. All of our guests not only loved the venue, which is one of the exclusive venues of Event Loft, but they said the food and staff were impeccable. We have guests that continue to tell us that the venue was a gem to find and that everything was well scheduled. We booked everything with Event loft, except for the DJ and sofreh designer. She was very kind to the other vendors and helped them when needed. We have the most memorable photos, video and the flowers were beautiful and excellent quality. I couldn't imagine not having Adina and her team working our wedding. I simply can't thank them enough.

We followed up to see what wedding planning packages she had and safe to say this was the best decision made. Eliza, Tammy + Team provided the full service for our wedding. We hired them for planning, design, coordination, rentals, and florals and it made life so much easier. I had the best experience with Eliza and team with our weekly meetings for a few months to align on all the details. She understand and appreciated our mixed cultural background and how we wanted to incorporate elements of this for a Persian and Vietnamese wedding. I have always heard wedding planning to be stressful but safe to say my experience was the best and the day of the wedding went beautifully. Nothing ever goes to plan and I'm really happy Eliza and her team are experienced enough to adjust to last minutes changes such as guest no shows, etc. She captured our vision perfectly and I'm already thinking of future events I would plan with Bel Events again!

    Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

Booking the event was extremely easy, I read other reviews about the planners not reaching out prior to the event, but the truth is that you don't really need to hear from them. All of the plans are in writing when you sign the agreement, the location and time are set prior to the date (also in writing). The day the event, the crew reached out and let me know they were setting up along with texting me a location pin. The Picnic Collective went above and beyond with the details. The flowers were beautiful, the grazing boards were delicious, everything was absolutely beautiful! I purchased the sandwiches for each guest and they were yummy. The only extra things I brought myself were a cake and alcohol. (mini champagne bottles and seltzers along with a trash bag to keep the alcohol bottles out of sight :) They provide pretty glass looking cups and it made us feel extra fancy. The blue tooth speaker was a nice touch to set the mood with music. Overall 10/10 I would hire them again for another special occasion. I was so happy with everything. If your picnic is at the beach like most are, I recommend arriving 30min early, plan ahead because parking is a mother.
