This review is so long overdue, considering my wedding was back in November. In a nutshell: my wedding would not have been as amazing and picture perfect without the help of Meghan and her team at Intertwined. They are a MUST-HAVE for your big day! They really are the pro's. I hired Intertwined for Month-of and Day-of coordinating. Meaghan was ALWAYS available. She was so amazing. After all the wedding stuff was over, I actually felt sad because I wouldn't be corresponding with her on a near-daily basis. She is such an awesome person. If you want a stress-free, beautiful, and picture-perfect wedding -- choose INTERTWINED. I had already selected several vendors: my wedding was at Serra Plaza, who has Mary, the venue coordinator, I also worked with Ashley Concolino from APictureLife Photography, and Mike McCaleb from Mission Visual. Then I began my search for coordinators. I had been referred to other coordinators in OC and got quotes from them (all extremely pricy), and I was finally referred to Intertwined by my photographer. I clicked with the ladies of Intertwined immediately and they fit my budget! After choosing Intertwined as our coordinators, I knew we had an ALL-STAR cast for our wedding day. As the WEEK of my wedding approached, southern California decided to DOWN pour. Yep -- California...rain.... words you don't often hear in the same sentence. I feel like in that one week adding up to my wedding, California decided to hit its yearly quota. I was freaking out because my ceremony was outside...and the reception was...outside. The Wednesday before, it was 40% chance of rain projected for Saturday. My nightmare. We had too many people to move it indoors, and lets be honest, I didn't choose my venue to have it inside! Meaghan was there 100% as my shoulder to cry on, my supporter and encourager, texting me probably hourly, "It's not gonna rain!" and "Now its only 20% chance" "Oh, now its 30% chance" and then "It's back to 20%" She researched tent rentals and because they are just THAT GOOD she found a few that would rent a tent for our giant reception space, with this short notice. We decided no for the tent, because we really felt God was one our side for this one and He would listen to my millions of prayers for a clear day. The day before, at our rehearsal, it was raining. Meaghan proposed we go to Target and Nordstroms and buy umbrellas for our wedding party. We didn't but I really felt like she made my wedding her #1 priority and my happiness was even more important. She had to get real with me a few times and snap me out of the "Why is this happening to me?" moments I had. haha! The day of our wedding comes, and the sun rises. Clouds separate and it is looking to be a gorgeous day! All of our fears and stress were lifted from our shoulders. Intertwined truly helped make my day more memorable. All the details were perfectly placed, and the wedding was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She helped keep the groomsmen in line, a difficult task, and made both me and my groom feel so special. Both of our families were impressed by this little woman, wearing all black, running around taking care of everything! I remember seeing my now father in law put his arms around Meagan and making a comment about her being just, "THAT GOOD!" In fact, I feel I may have prayed a little TOO much and feel partially responsible for California's now drought. We love you Intertwined! read more

Katie was with me through a Covid wedding of planning, pivoting, and replanning. She took everything in stride and made sure I was not stressed one bit. We had to cancel our original wedding and Katie jumped in to help us pivot to a small 13 person Covid wedding at an Air bnb in Palm Springs. They then took on the task of helping us plan an awesome reception/party last month. I had a particular vision and I was able to bounce all ideas of the team and they always gave great advice. I started with Katie in 2019 and had to postpone twice, and I changed my design as well to fit in with the time of year, Katie never complained once and did not ask for a dime more. She will always treat your money like it was her own and make sure your money is spent wisely. During the wedding day, Amy was my bridal concierge and she was very helpful kept me calm in the early hours of the wedding day. Katie and her team at Intertwined Events were the masterminds in making our fairytale wedding come true! My husband and I interviewed over 20 wedding planners and Katie was the creme of the crop. From the first phone call we had she made us feel supported and heard. Katie held our hand every step of the way as we worked together to bring our vision to life. Katie has a particularly unique gift of being calm in the eye of the storm, which is exactly what one would want in a wedding planner. She is mindful of budget, responsive, respectful, and has a keen eye for design which is something not all wedding planners have. We truly could not have had the wedding of our dreams without Kelsey Desprez and Intertwined Events. When we first reached out to Intertwined, we had one year to plan, a vision, and no clue where to start. Kelsey is so kind and easy to get along with, and honestly made the process a breeze. Throughout the wedding planning process, friends and family would ask if we were stressed out, and we could honestly say "No!" knowing that we were in Kelsey's capable hands. Tasks that gave me anxiety just thinking about, she tackled in moments, and she was continually offering suggestions to save costs, be more efficient, and elevate our event. Stop your search because Intertwined Events is the best of the best! We've had 2 family weddings planned by Intertwined (Vinscena was the coordinator both times) and they were flawless!
