I…read morelive down in Southern Calif close to the Huntington Beach area and the jewelers here are overly expensive and not very talented at all. When I broke my tiny box chain necklace I was devastated it's the only chain I can wear that doesn't irritate my skin or get all my curly hair caught up in it. He fixed it and I can't even tell where the damaged area was. The service charge was also amazing , other jewelers practically told me i needed to purchase a new chain. Thank you Harvey!

My husband, Tim and I have been customers at Brown's custom jewelers for many years. There is not…read moreone other jeweler I would even waste my time going into any other store here local, nor out of town., This store has always provided excellent customer service, and we have found that they are the most honest people we have met. When we take pieces in to be cleaned for free, they always check the diamonds and other stones with prongs to make sure that they are still strong and secure. We wont go anywhere else for any thing. When I have something that needs repairs, I only take it to Browns. Because I have seen the horrible repairs done by the other local shops and they were terrible. More than one person has taken previously 'repaired' items to Brown's because the repair was horribly done, and needed to be fixed. When I get my repairs back, they are is as good as new, and sometimes better! I have only purchased from Brown's Custom, as they continuously have new and beautiful pieces. If you want brand new pieces, estate jewelry, simple pieces, or all out custom pieces-Browns is the only place where I would shop. He is a true craftsman, and can make a custom piece to your tastes and requests! They have always been more than fair to me, and they are the most honest and forthright people I have ever met,,, especially in this this type of business, Invest here, you won't be disappointed!

Raphael is the Visalia jeweler everyone needs in their life! He is an absolute master of his craft,…read moreand has more reasonable pricing than any other retail store in the Valley. For the quality of his cuts, the clarity of his diamonds, and the realistic price range for such fine jewelry (like the engagement ring and wedding band set he got me), the man just can't be beat. Going into a fancy jewelry store made me a little nervous. I've been in others around town, and…read morethey made me feel like I did not belong there. This was NOT the case at Raphael's! I called first to see if they could polish the opal in my wedding ring and resize another ring for me. I felt instantly comfortable when talking to the woman on the phone. She was so kind. When my husband and I went into the store, we were promptly greeted by the woman and man working there. They were both incredibly friendly, informative, and took their time with us. The price for both services was very reasonable. They got my rings back to me within TWO DAYS and even gave me some knowledge on how to preserve my opal. Words cannot describe how I felt when I saw my wedding ring. I was in shock. I walked back to my car with the biggest smile on my face. The picture attached does not do it justice. They went above and beyond for me. I cannot wait to go back and have more time to look through their selection of jewelry because the little bit we saw was beautiful and unique. Even my husband was impressed when I showed him the ring after the service. We both agreed that he and I will definitely be going back here for future jewelry purchases and maintenance.

Pros-NONE CONS-Store…read morehas no inventory, so he'll order diamonds without your permission, then charge you a "restocking" fee than he made up from the seed of his pants. Claiming he can't resell them? What type of jeweler can't resale diamonds, especially ones I didn't order! Long story short BE CAREFUL, as much as I wanted to support a small business owner, I'd stay away from this one. This guy has some MAJOR communication issues, and doesn't understand the value of good service. Not to mention, he can't see the value of repeat business!
