I have a 42yrs old Howard Miller grandfather clock. It hasn't worked in years, I couldn't find anyone within a 100 mile radius of my home to fix it & I had to transport it myself so it stayed broken for 20yrs. I recently moved to a larger area & googled clock repair. I went into tower clock shop and they stole my diamond watch piece off of my watch, as I needed the back put back on I changed the battery and couldn't put the back back on ,they quoted me 5 dollars to do that service,when I got there I handed over my watch and she said that it was sticky so she took it over to another area then took it to the person to work on,when I picked it up I put it on went outside and the diamond ring that goes around the front was gone so I went back in and told them that it was missing and she said that it didn't have it on there,wouldn't even look for it and I was very dissatisfied with the buisness,also the back was all scratched up I had to file police report and taking them to court!! Tower Clock Shop tuned up and cleaned my antique cuckoo clock. The clock ready when promised. When I got it home I couldn't get it to cuckoo. I brought it back the next day and it worked fine. Apparently we moved the hour hand when we weren't to. Who knew? I was given a tutorial on the workings of antique cuckoos. Lots of moving parts and it's not really straightforward. I headed out of the shop and the owner followed me to help with the door. He didn't stop there, he also helped disabled me get the delicate clock into the car. Uncommon kindness. I took my Seiko kinetic watch in because it wasn't keeping the correct time. I assumed that it needed a new capacitator battery as this has happened before. They said they replaced the capacitator battery however it only kept the correct time for that day. I took it back, they put it on a watch winder for 5 days and gave it back. Same problem. Took it back again, they supposedly replaced the capacitance battery again. When I picked it up for the 3rd time I had the exact same problem. Returned again and was just offered a refund but first he wanted the capacitance battery so he took it out. Did not put the old one back in it. So after a month of back and forth I received my watch back without the capacitator battery. Did not realize this until I took it to another repair shop. Definitely would not recommend! read more

I have a Howard Miller clock that I received from my employer (via Tower Clock Shop) for a work anniversary a while back. George from TCS delivered the clock and got it all set up for me. All was good until about six months ago when the clock wouldn't stay running. I called TCS and George came out to take a look. It turns out, the inside mechanism was dusty. I had never had it cleaned before. I know now that Grandfather clocks need to be serviced every few years to keep them running in tip top shape. It only took a week for the clock's insides to be cleaned and returned to us. It works great again! A couple weeks ago, we were getting new carpets and a phone call to TCS was all it took for me to find out how to move the clock without damaging it. George is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I highly recommend TCS! read more

We have a grandfather clock that was my wife's grandmother's that we needed move from the Friant area to Fresno and we had a very difficult schedule to deal with. George was extremely flexible and super helpful and understood what we were dealing with. He had no problem getting the clock one day then storing it and bring it to us a few days later once we able to move things around and schedule other pick ups. Once he delivered the clock and set it up he gave us a very detailed step by step process on how to wind up the clock, change the chime feature, start the pendulum, and even gave us tips on how to safely and quickly set the time. This is a third generation business and it is "the place" to take your clock if it needs a repair. I have a 25 year old regulator clock that died last week and today it is running with the Westminster chimes. The chimes are loud enough to hear yet not to loud that it is annoying. It is battery operated and am expecting it to run another 25 years. It took less than a week to be repaired and it cost only $65 for a new timing piece to be placed on the back of the clock. Chris the grandson of the three generations is very knowledgeable and extremely personable. This is a great place to do business. My son will be taking two of his clocks here soon to be repaired.
