The band had flattened out on one side, creating 2 gaps in the platinum. The ring was filthy. It's hard to describe the awful shape the ring was in, but someone said it looked like it was run over by a truck. By the time Knutson's was done, my 20 year old ring looked BRAND NEW!! I couldn't be happier! Scott was so helpful and professional, Julie was so friendly and Dolce was simply adorable. The jewelry that's also for sale there is gorgeous! I highly highly highly recommend Knutson Jewelers!

I brought my wife in under the guise of just getting her ring checked, making sure all the jewels were secure, and maybe having Scott fill in the razor-thin part of the bottom. What we left with was nothing short of amazing--a newly rebuilt, stunning ring that still resembled the original but looked brand new. Scott took his time and turned our 20th-anniversary rebuild into a custom dream. He managed to create a beautiful new piece that still felt like "the ring," honoring its history while giving it a fresh life. I still can't believe the transformation he accomplished, especially for such a reasonable price! If you're looking for a jeweler who truly cares about craftsmanship and attention to detail, Knutson Jewelers are the best. This place is a true gem in Clovis, and I can't recommend them enough!

They fully honored the warranty for the work they performed, and I truly appreciate that. My rings are beautiful again and I'm very happy with the outcome. Most people only post reviews when they're thrilled with a purchase or upset about something, but I think the way a business handles a warranty issue says the most about who they really are. In this case, they proved they stand behind their work. Thank you Max! Highly recommend.

I came in for a consultation to tighten loose prongs on two diamonds on my wedding band. When I walked in, I was greeted by a saleswoman who took my ring and almost immediately called over a colleague for help. Having two salespeople inspect a ring for 10 minutes, completely misidentify the metal as white gold, and speak with zero confidence was an immediate red flag. It felt less like a high-end jeweler and more like a mass-market commercial chain like Kay Jewelers, where sales volume is prioritized over staff expertise. When they initially quoted me $250 for white gold, I had to correct them and clarify that my band is platinum. Their instant response? "Well, that's going to cost more, $500." Five hundred dollars just to tighten existing prongs, no new metal, no replaced stones. I walked out in shock. A month later, one of the diamonds fell out. Luckily, I found it while cleaning, and my husband found The Diamond Gallery on Yelp. We were greeted by Brandon, who welcomed us with a level of warmth and genuine customer care I didn't experience at Orloff. He inspected my ring within a minute with complete confidence, confirmed it was platinum with intact prongs, and explained they could set the loose diamond, tighten the prongs, reshape the band, and clean it. His quote? $35. Thirty-five dollars! I got my ring back a few days later, and it looks absolutely flawless and I barely recognized it! It was stunning, I was so blown away by the quality of work and exceptional service that I voluntarily paid double his quoted price. I initially visited Orloff because coworkers recommended them, but had I known they would quote an arm and a leg for basic work, I would have saved myself the trip. While I'm sure they have happy customers, their pricing for simple repair work is entirely unreasonable. Save yourself the headache and go to a real, knowledgeable craftsman. Maybe an overstaffed sales floor seems to have diluted the staff's expertise. Having two employees inspect a ring and misidentify it as white gold is a clear sign of a lack of product knowledge.

It was stunning; I was so blown away by the quality of work and exceptional service that I voluntarily paid double his quoted price. I shared my experience and the incredible care I received with a few coworkers. One of them actually visited a jeweler recently and was thrilled--she said her engagement ring came back looking even better than when she first got it. My husband and I felt the same way about mine; it looked even more stunning than the day I first wore it. That's the magic of finding a master craftsman. They don't just fix a flaw, they elevate the whole piece. Thank you, Brandon!

Oh no! What could we improve?! Let's start here…read more I purchased a watch and wedding ring 7 years ago from the Diamond Gallery. Both have weathered daily wear well. Very happy with my purchase. I Left the watch and ring with them for a minor repair early in May. I told them I wanted to remove a link to resize the watchband and asked if they could refurbish the watch case. The ring was missing a tiny diamond chip. I needed the missing diamond chip replaced. June rolls around and so far I had heard nothing from anyone about any progress. 3 weeks pass before I got curious and impatient and decided to call to find out what was going on. Ken says "the diamonds are on back order and that the watch would be about $190 to repair. We didn't know if you wanted to spend that much to get the watch repaired so we didn't know what to do. Hmmm. Here's a novel idea. PICK UP A PHONE AND CALL ME ON THE NUMBER ON THE ESTIMATE! Jeez. Ask a question. You might just get an answer. It made me wonder how long my watch would have sat there if I hadn't bothered to call and check? I explained to Ken that yes, like the estimate says, repair the watch and resize the band by taking out a link. He asked if I wanted the crystal replaced. I say yes. It's not a super expensive watch but it has sentimental value and I wanted it completely repaired. Three more weeks pass and no news. No call. I call again. They say the store is closed for a week for vacation and they don't have any information on my watch or ring. But they will call me as soon as they are open again. Finally call me yesterday ( it's now mid July. It's been well over ten weeks since I dropped it off.) They ask, what are we supposed to do to the ring? I said it was supposed to get one of the diamonds replaced that is missing. He says "Oh. It looks like it's already been replaced. I guess you can pick it up tomorrow." Wife goes to pick up the watch and ring and they ask her, "Did he want the crystal replaced? It's got a couple of scratches in it." I told my wife to just pay for whatever they did and bring it home. I certainly didn't want to leave it with them again for another 10 weeks. She gets it home. I put it on only to find out they never took a link out to resize the band. Do I recommend them? Ha. This level of incompetence or complacency is really hard to find. I can understand a miscommunication. A mistake. This minor task was a train wreck from start to finish. The other funny thing? When I dropped the watch off, I asked the guy if they had a Citizen watch like mine except with a green dial face instead of the blue and he immediately said no no. I can check around but that would be pretty hard to find." As I was walking out the door, I looked to the left and in their watch display window I saw one sitting there with a green face. I just now decided to order it. On Amazon. The only assumption I can come up with, is that this is place must be just a storefront for laundering money. I can't imagine how they can stay in business with this level of customer service. I'm kidding of course, but yeah, I'm thinking I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

They claim they pay the "best prices," yet only offered me $123, which isn't even close. That kind of offer feels misleading and dishonest. I wouldn't trust them with selling any of your gold or silver -- this was by far the lowest quote I've received anywhere. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere more transparent and fair.

He also wrote "2:00 p.m. pickup" on my receipt. Based on that promise, I paid $60 for the repair, which included the $30 repair fee plus an additional $30 tip because I was assured the work would be completed by the following day. When I returned on July 3 at approximately 1:50 p.m., I found a notice on the door stating that the business had closed at 1:30 p.m. that day. Since July 4 was a national holiday, the store remained closed, forcing me to wait until July 6 to retrieve my necklace. On July 6, I sent my daughter inside to pick up the necklace while I waited in the car. She called me on FaceTime because the employees attempted to give her a necklace that did not belong to us. I then went inside and provided my claim ticket along with photographs of my son's necklace to prove ownership. I made it clear that I would not leave without the correct item. During this interaction, I spoke with a female employee while Charles Jackson sat in the back, listening to the conversation but making no effort to assist. He acted as though he did not recognize me or remember the transaction. After reviewing the photographs and documentation I provided, the employee stated she would continue searching for my necklace and would call me if she located it. Because I was not willing to leave without my property and indicated that I would contact law enforcement if necessary, another employee eventually stepped forward and stated that he remembered repairing the necklace. He then located it in a drawer. Shockingly, my necklace had been placed in an envelope bearing another customer's name. Not only was my necklace not ready at the promised pickup time despite my paying an additional tip for expedited service, but I was also nearly given someone else's property. Throughout the entire ordeal, no one apologized for the inconvenience, the mishandling of my jewelry, or the distress this situation caused. This experience demonstrated an alarming lack of professionalism, organization, and accountability. Entrusting customers' valuable jewelry to the wrong envelopes creates a serious risk of loss or theft and is completely unacceptable. Based on my experience, I believe Jackson Jeweler failed to provide the level of care and customer service that consumers should reasonably expect.

They also sell a variety of accessories, and fun gifts. One part of their clothing selection is called "Salvaged", these are unique pieces that are either "pre-owned" or "gently used". We looked through them and they all looked in wonderful condition, and they are all very pretty. (If anyone knows what Poshmark is, that is how "Salvaged" got started and continues, in addition through the store. The owner of Salvaged is the daughter of the owner of bauble & thread. It has become my "go to" place for that. *Bonus!* The bags they give you for your purchases are adorable with their stickers and extra ribbons, that you can easily use it as the gift wrap! I recommend you try this place out!
