Bryant sofa looks good......AT FIRST! I loved the look of my Bryant sofa when I got it. But so quickly, after very little use, the front bottom panel started "poofing" out. I think the foam panels just separated. There is no way to fix this, at least not by me. I try to push it in And it asort of fixes, til you sit again. And the cushions are really flat. Like a cut piece of 1" hard mattress topper with some stuffed animal stuffing on top. Luckily they zip open so you can add stuff, but it was always like this. Overall it is still comfy, but I just hate the way the front looks now. read more

Alessandro was super helpful - he walked us through all the different fabric options and laid out big swatches so we could really visualize how the couch would look. The showroom had a ton of options so it was worth going to the shop to check them out. Delivery turnaround was pretty quick too, and the in-home setup was done in under 20 minutes. if I could rate 0, I would. we loved this couch and bought the kid proof protection. as soon as you have an issue, Joybird is hands off and passes the issue to the warranty company. IT IS FALSE ADVERTISING PLEASE I beg you do not waste your money. we spent 600$ on a "kid proof" couch coverage to be denied that damage done by a 2 year old wasn't covered for "intentionality"... whatever you do do not give this company your money. they are incredibly hard to get ahold of, tie up your claim for months, and if you want to replace a zipper or cover you have to purchase the entire cushion. go to Costco instead! save yourself before it's too late! read more

My wife and I went to the Joybird location on North Ave in Chicago and worked with an extremely helpful representative named Rosie. We arrived with a vague idea of what we were looking for which was a sleeper sofa to replace our broken one and provide a more supportive mattress than the one we had before. Rosie helped us to understand the available options for sleeper sofas and identify the Tempur mattress as a definite upgrade to what we had previously. Beyond that, she provided a wealth of useful information on fabric options, timing for delivery, protection plans, etc. We left that day feeling educated on our options and wealth of models and fabrics that would fit our needs and we would be happy to have. Rosie also gave us a box of all of the fabric options to take home, and let us know when the available discounts would end. To add to her and Joybird's outstanding service, Rosie offered to have us reach back out to her for the order so she could walk us through the protection plans and delivery process personally. Which we did and found it was very useful. Can't say enough about the positive experience we had in the store overall and with Rosie specifically. My partner and I ordered our Joybird Sofa in August. We inquired about the delivery in late October,about a month after it was scheduled to arrive. We were told there was a one month delay and that we would receive a discount on our next order, but never informed of the amount of the discount. We were willing to let this go for a quality couch, but when the couch finally arrived on December 4th there were several issues. First, it came with no hardware for us to attach the legs. Second it has a large grease stain on the back corner. The stain is large enough to notice from across the room. We watched the delivery guys bring the couch in boxed and covered in plastic so the stain was clearly the company's fault. Less important, but still significant, the couch came with little loose threads all over the stitching. I only posted a picture of one, but those loose threads are all over the couch. They are easy to remove but they show how little the company cares about the products it ships out. The company bills itself as a manufacturer of "quality" furniture. But they clearly pay little attention to details. Customer service has been slow to respond. I've been directed to fill out an online form on their website. Even if I ask for a refund, they charge a 10% "restocking fee." I would also loose money on the pet warranty which comes from a third party provider. Whatever happens with this claim I am submitting to Joybird believe me, we will not buy anything from them ever again and you shouldn't either. I am posting this review to help out other couples like us who are just starting out and picking up furniture. You are better off going some place else. Look at the pictures below. We are going to be stuck with a couch with no legs squatting in the middle of our living room over Christmas..yay. My wife and I affectionately refer to "JoyBird" as "JoyTird". We had to return a couch and table due to defects and gave up on them trying to resolve their quality issues. We did keep their dining room chairs, but the Morgan chair is starting to separate and I fear is going to collapse on me one of these days. Worst furniture experience in my life! Do not rely on the reviews on the JoyTird website, they only keep the positive ones! After finally getting our rebates from JoyTird, we ended up with a BenchMade Modern couch and West Elm dining room table. Seamless delivery, arrived within the delivery hour window, which I didn't expect given i live in Manhattan. My husband and I have been talking about a new couch for ages and I was hesitant to make a decision without visiting a showroom to test out the options. We have reached out multiple times to get a replacement on the inserts, with no updates. If you stand up the sections come up apart so I am always having to connect them back together. The quality of the material is unfortunately not holding up either. It constantly pills and has a fuzzy layer. My lord, this place has got to be the worst company on the planet short of those that spill millions of gallons of oil into the oceans. I'm guessing if you're here, you already know this and are either doom scrolling or looking for comfort. The last couch we had was from Room and Board and lasted 14 years of children beating up on it, adults flopping down without a care in the world, and everything else one could do to abuse a couch. That couch looks like it's been in our family for one year tops, can be cleaned incredibly well and with harsh chemicals and still looks great. Joybird, on the other hand, makes furniture that is absolutely garbage quality and still takes forever to arrive. We waited 2 months for our sofa and it arrived today without legs. They delivered it and the delivery person said "This is the third time this has happened to me with Joybird. We pick up as many couches as we drop off." So a little dejected after the 2 month wait, I try to get in contact with someone about the issues. I go online and the wait to talk to someone to place a new order is 1 minute, the wait to talk to someone about a problem, via chat mind you, is 5 hours. 5. Earth. Hours. So I Google "Joybird problems" and then I go down a rabbit hole like Alice except rather than be on some awesome drugs or whatever I'm in this couch hell with a piece of plastic furniture that I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get rid of. So, I went on the Joybird site and chatted with the "place a new order" person. Initially, she was "unable to do anything because she's a design consultant" but she must have felt bad for me because all of a sudden she was able to process a return and let me know that someone would be contacting me to arrange a pickup. I'm skeptical, but at least I was able to chat with a human being who did a thing somewhere. Now, we wait for the second coming of JR Logistics where two movers will decide the fate of my $3,000. At this point, I don't trust anything about this company and while they say their products have a lifetime warranty, I simply cannot imagine their being in business in five years. I ordered a Briar twin sleeper on 10/23/22. I received timely build updates and the sofa was delivered on 11/29/22. It was supposed to arrive on 11/22/22 but JB hunt (delivery co) missed a hand off somewhere. Anyway 4-5 weeks for a custom-built sofa is BLAZING fast. The sofa arrived in good condition with no issues. It is a firm sit and the mattress is thin but it is intended for occasional guest use so I'm not bothered by that. The buttons have cheap cheap cheap plastic hooks. You then, have to take cushion apart, then with a hook reattach button. Then the button must be gorilla glued in place. Higher end couches/chairs have eyelets that are sewn into place. Also the seat cushion constantly slides out of place, so then the back cushion sinks. The addition of Velcro stops this. Sure it looks great, but if you buy, expect daily repairs. Seek higher ground read more

The sofa has a middle leg support so that's fine. When we inquired, Joybird asked us to place heavy items on e sofa so they could see the variance. Then they said the variance was "acceptable" to them. When I first started purchasing from Joybird, they were number one in customer service. Since that time, not only has quality declined but their customer service has as well. Our sofa has sank tremendously in one spot (see photo; we don't even sit in that spot) and they've termed this "an acceptable" variance. Back in August I ordered a table from Joybird. Then they went silent. I'd call and get shuffled around between customer service. One time they told me there was a wood shortage. ‍ It's been 5 months and my table arrived after I threatened to contact the news to investigate. My first delivery date fell through unexpectedly and it sat in a warehouse 15 miles from me for two more weeks. When the next delivery day arrived, I was hesitant to be excited. Sadly, they did not prove me wrong. The table was poor quality for the 2K spent and the crew could not even assemble it. They said it was built so bad the legs would not even fit. They loaded it back in their truck and said this happens every time they get a Joybird delivery. They told me an animated story of a lady in Nashville who just had the same experience with a couch. TLDR: A damaged chair leg turned into a 3 month customer service nightmare that ended with me returning my order. Plus, I'm still waiting for a phone call from a manager regarding their terrible customer service. I purchased two chairs in January 2020 and one arrived damaged. The delivery company advised I reject the delivery of that item, which I did. This started a roughly 3-month customer service nightmare. My first email was ignored and my phone calls were addressed by rude customer service agents who made it seem like this was my fault. I was finally contacted by customer service supervisor Miguel who promised to make things right. He explained they would ship out a replacement leg, then reschedule the delivery of the damaged chair. Once I was in possession of both items, they would look for a technician to repair it. That could take up to two weeks to find a technician and then it was up to their availability to get out and make the repairs. Miguel then followed to alert me that the chair was damaged at the warehouse, which he kind of blamed me for since I rejected the delivery. It was just some dirt, so he said he would get the technician to professionally clean it when they repaired the leg. It took more than two weeks for the leg to arrive. And when it did, it was damaged because it was packed in a huge box that arrived almost completely open. I had to call again multiple times to talk with Miguel about the issue. He failed to take responsibility for this, blaming the shipping department. Faced with another two-week delay on a new replacement chair leg, plus who knows how long for the actual replacement, I asked to speak to manager about the issue. It's been more than 5 weeks since I made that request and I still have not heard from a manager. I ended up returning both of my chairs because of their terrible customer service. read more

Just got the Korver chair and large couch. Gotta say we did not have the problems other people seem to have. Couch and chair are wonderful. I would recommend the Korver model only for tall people as its very deep though. They did take a bit to deliver, but was only a few days later than their initial estimate. Little over the six weeks we were quoted on purchase. Over the course of the order we changed it to a larger size, modified delivery, and had to work out our co-op's requirements and new COVID standards. No major problems with any of our needs though.
