Big fan of Joya's! Excellent coffee! Egg sandwich is crave-worthy and delicious. Kati roll is surprising and a little greasy in the best way-- full of spice and crunch, also delicious. I love the rose donut and cookies. read more

Joya's exists, it seems, to try and fill a spot that Indian/southeast Asian food doesn't really exist in - modern with a hint of Asian taste while still being literally and figuratively digestible by western pallets and sensibilities. In that sense it succeeds, to an extent. I first visited Joya's during its opening week. It was inconsistent and many of the issues I had with Avishar's cooking at Service Bar were present (overly oily items, underseasoned food across all items). However, I continued to visit over time, with new items appearing and giving this place more chances than I would other restaurants. I wanted, and want, Joya's to succeed. The food and quality and consistency of experience increased over time. I was excited to visit again. However, around the time Agni opened, I started to see many of the preexisting issues show up. (Side note: I think Agni is the worst valued restaurant in Columbus. Massively overpriced for food that is, again, underseasoned, under flavored while being somehow overthought and not exciting to want to try. How do you give me only two pani puri and have both of them be broken on the bottom??). These issues of Joya's that have cropped up are significant issues in consistency of items between visits - I rarely feel like the food I order is of the same taste and quality as previous visits, which gives me significant pause for future visits; food is underseasoned or missing elements that are crucial to balancing out the flavors (yogurt missing in the Kati roll); prices seem to continue to climb while portions either decrease or quality and consistency are missing. I've probably reached my point of no longer wanting to visit joyas. I hope folks continue to enjoy it and I wish their entire team the best. But I know this restaurant is one that I'm no longer going to force myself to try and enjoy. read more

It is absolutely PHENOMENAL. It's in such a small cozy area but such a gem!! I am by far coming back to try everything on their menu. Just by looking at other people's plate I wanted more than what I got. This was by far the BEST breakfast sandwich I have ever gotten. I was skeptical but they proved me soooo wrong! read more

I've been waiting way too long to try this place - since I discovered the owner is Service Bar's previous executive chef. And, it was good! But I wasn't blown away by any means. I got the vegetarian fried rice and "not pad Thai". Look, by the name, I can't be upset that it certainly was not paid Thai. But the noodles were *extremely* oily (the was a big puddle at the bottom) and it just feel like it was missing some flavor. The tofu was incredible. The fried rice was good. It was also a little pricey ($18/plate). Bottom line: I liked it. I'm sure I'll be back at some point, but I'm not going to go out of my way. I think I'll stick to my usual spots for asian food, but I applaud the owner for pulling off an Asian fusian brunch spot. read more

Like others, I almost don't want to share the secret of how good this place is! We got there about 10:30am on a Saturday and there was a line, but received our food to go about 30 minutes after ordering. Staff is pleasant and efficient, small dining area which was crowded because of the cold weather but there are some great little shops to walk around if it's nicer out. We ordered the "Not pad Thai" which was huge, easy to share and the most delicious breakfast sandwich I've had in Columbus. The Joyas latte was velvety smooth and we got sweetened condensed milk in the cold brew. Overall fantastic breakfast and worth the price. Looking forward to coming back with friends and family! read more

Stopped in for breakfast. Although the breakfast sandwich was tasty, $17 for the slider size Sammy and cup of coffee seems pricey. Service was ok but a little slow for the time of day. Clean and pleasant place. Interesting other things on menu but pretty upscale. Bring your credit card. read more

The wait is over!! Breakfast sammie is scrumptious and easily craveable. Ordered a couple more of my favorites from Avishar's prior digs like Not Pad Thai and the Kati roll and they're just as I remember . Thank you for bringing the deliciousness back! Be kind and patient as they've just opened, staffing is an issue like it is everywhere, you might need to chill with your iced milk chai while your food is made to order. read more

Love this place! The flavors are just enough to turn a normal breakfast sandwich into something spectacular! I also dig the vib and the staff. They told me that the name Joya was their grandma's name. The wait may seem long, since the line is out the door, but everyone wolf's down their food because it is so good. We have been going back every over week, which is unusual for me, because I normally like to try a new place every time I go out. btw, always get a samosa for a snack later in the afternoon. read more

Oh damn, this place was so good. Had a veggie breakfast burrito. Delicious. There's not a ton of sitting inside, but there are also a few tables outside for when it's warm out. On that particular day there happen to be construction on the street over and it was so loud. It's a nice walkable area so you could get your coffee and food and take a little stroll around Worthington. Was a tiny bit slow to get our order but no major complaints really. Will be back again soon.! read more

delicious food!!!!! very rich. I could only eat half of my sandwich- and I normally can eat. the cookie was amazing, the chai was good. all in all I would be delighted to go back. only downside was it's a small space and super busy always, so it's a little awkward getting in and being in line. read more

You can't go wrong with anything you order here! My favorite is the Kati Roll (the jumbo griddle fried paratha is aaaaaamazing!) but you've got to try the Rosewater Almond donut! BEST DONUT IN COLUMBUS. Chewy, slightly sweet, with a hint of rose and almond flavors. Delicious! read more

Had the pleasure of visiting Joya's for the first time today. The delicious food and warm, welcoming customer service made my day! All the food we tried was absolutely mouthwatering and we will soon be back for more. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, the Cheesy Double Crunch Tacos with Brisket, the Kati Roll and the Joya's Fried Rice (we got it Danny's Way, perfect if you like it super spicy!). All were perfectly prepared...the Breakfast Sandwich melted in my mouth, the tacos were crunchy, flavorful perfection with the tender, well seasoned brisket rounding off all the different textures and flavors. The fried rice was jam packed with goodies (a fried egg, chicken nuggets, bacon and rice crisps) all atop a bed of the most flavorful rice I've had in recent memory. And my boyfriend says "the Kati roll and Cortadito are the best $20 you'll spend in Columbus". The Kati roll was heaven. To drink we tried the Nitro Chai, the Cafe de Olla and the Cortadito. All were exquisite and I would drink the Nitro Chai every day if I could. Best meal we've had this year by far. Thank you to the hardworking staff for bringing joy to my day with your wonderful food and kindness! read more

So good, very crowded though so you have to get there early to get a table (especially on a weekend). I got the Kati Roll and it was so tasty. The flavors worked super well together and it was the perfect amount of food. read more

This small restaurant really packed on the flavor. My wife and I ate here after seeing it on DDD and it did not disappoint. The fried rice was out of this world - it had that balance of sweet, savory, sour, salty that you look for in a great dish. Amazing. We also had the chopped cheese sandwich and it was delicious. Those two dishes ordered without any other sides were perfect to split for a lunch for my wife and I. We will eat here again whenever we are in Columbus. read more

Best breakfast in Columbus right now, I'm sure of it--fully worth the drive up from downtown area. Have tried most things on menu except the burger, chicken sandwich, and tacos. Most things are quite good but I think if I had to come with two people and order a meal it would be the Kati roll, fried rice, and Rice Krispie treat, all to share. Delicious! read more

I had a great morning here. Came in before it got busy and sat at the bar stools to have a breakfast sandwich and coffee and do some work. I don't even like bacon but theirs on their sandwich was so good! The eggs were so fluffy, bread so light, and I think there might have been hint of pesto maybe? Had a great peaceful time and delicious sandwich. I will say though their coffee didn't taste too great though, not terrible but not good. I might recommend a diff coffee. read more

What a cute place! I had heard good things, but didn't really know what to expect. I wish there was some more description or maybe images available somewhere before ordering because I had no idea what to get. I ordered the Kati Roll based on a recommendation from the server and was really glad I did! It was so yummy! I really have no idea what was in it, but it was overall delish. Super fresh and tasty! I would highly recommend trying this place out. read more

Great music. Great Vibes. Great food/drink. Checks the only three boxes I need in a restaurant. Will be here every time I visit Columbus.

Amazing food. Flavor bomb and some of the best food we've had in Columbus ever. Will definitely be back soon!

Food was excellent, location is good, restaurant is clean and cute. The staff was delightful, but let's exclude the barista- she was opposite of everyone else. Other than that one person, it was well worth the visit. read more

The place is cute and small! Decor reminds me of thai restaurants or just more summer/ tropical. The service is fine nothing crazy but the staff is nice when you do interact and it does seem genuine. Now to the best part :) Their food is good I tried about 7 of their items. The ones I enjoyed the most was their fried rice although i think the chickens with it was a bad decision. They had no flavor so did the porkbelly but the rice was done JUSTICE. Flavored so well! The kati roll was a good choice as well, their tai tea is good too. Finally the item i loved the most was the crispy chicken sandwich. That item was probably was the best thing I had their and something I would constantly go back for. read more

I had the Toast in-a-box. It was loaded (too much!) with sauce which overwhelmed it. Overall it wasn't of good flavor. I'm not sure about other items on the menu, but I think this place is overrated. My daughter and husband were here months ago and thought the same thing. The cortado was good though. This shows that people are followers. They think it's good because the chef on tv made it famous. This also shows that people don't have discerning palates! read more

Although everything I've eaten from Joya's has been great, they have the best breakfast sandwich in all of Ohio. It is absolutely delicious. The bun is soft, the scrambled eggs have a perfect not to hard not too soft texture, the most flavorful creamy herby chutney. A little bit spicy. Omg. It's not like any other breakfast sandwich I've ever had. 10/10 read more
