First off, mani and pedi were totally fine. Service was excellent. BUT Second; the play list today would make Tupac blush. I was sure the manager must have been playing her own music when I walked in, as it was a very quiet day, she was the only employee and I was the only customer. I asked her specifically about the music, and she responded by saying "Do you like it?" I said "No. I don't. It's horrible, it's terrible language. You really shouldn't play this in a business." She just smiled. It's possible a language barrier prevented her from understanding me, OR her noticing the vulgar and racist lyrics of the music. Who knows. Just be forewarned if your bringing your young daughter for a girls day. Can't even advice you to tell the manager, as she IS the manager. Strange indeed. But I love my nails. read more

I am sad to give this salon 2 stars because it is a place I used to LOVE! Since changing owners, I haven't found my experiences or the finished product of my nails to be spectacular like they used to be. In my most recent visit, my nails were rushed (my thumb nail is literally shaped lopsided), nails aren't the same shape or length, color was pretty but each nail color turned out different, and there was an $8 charge for the color I picked. I understand upping charges on services but to charge extra for certain colors that takes 3+ coats for the color to come out is ridiculous in my opinion. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I may give this salon one more try but wouldn't recommend this place to people who really pride themselves on their nails. read more

Do not do anything without out the manicurist telling you how much it will be first. They completely over charged me .Maybe due to covid and being not busy . My 14 year old had a manicure and pedicure .my Seven year old had a child's manicure on their menu it says $8 dollars . I was charged $32 for the child Manicure and $66 for the manicure and pedicure.I was over charged before my 14 year old was done with her pedi mani as well and to top it off the lady asked me for a tip before services were completed for my 14 year old. I feel I was treated in a undeserving way and warning these people are looking to over charge . I don't think these are the original owners. read more

Zero stars - I went there today to try it out - thinking maybe it would be my new go to nail place. I had an apt for a pedicure which took 8 min - 8 min for $30.00. I never in my life ever got such a lousy pedicure. I questioned the girl - she shrugged her shoulders - no scrubbing no leg massage nothing! That's $3.75 a min x 60 min means $225 hr for nothing! This was my first time here since it was changed from Mary's to journey. I did not have a present experience. My nails are all different shapes and they are super bubbly. The annoying thing is there are a few nails that aren't bubbly and are flat and nice and there a few that are not. They look nice from a distance, but up close they are not very nice. I paid $78 so over priced compared to where I usually go. I was there for 2 hours. Jason did my nails who many people highly recommend him, but I do not. My sister got her nails done by jimmy and her nails actually came out great I would recommend him. I will not be going back here. I will have better luck trying out a new salon. Also I watched them reuse tools without sanitizing them. I do not recommend going here. My experience was unpleasant and a waste of money. Refused to refund my manicure. read more

I don't know why this place has such bad reviews it is clean and has good prices. I got a manicure & pedicure and it came out really great. They really paid attention to detail. During the pedicure they even gave a 5 minute massage which was an unexpected surprise. Would definitely recommend! read more

I see Leo & love my massage from Angela, however both were out today & I got Ryan! I asked for the massage pedi... I can honestly say the worst & he spent 8 min on my left CALF then when he got to my right, his timer went off & he 1,2,3 rushed the calf & foot! Never in my life!! Been growing my nails out they looked great coming in, said square file... He clipped what was there ENTIRELY DOWN!! I walked in w my nails looking better than left, he left cuticles, rough edges & I opted no polish once he BOTCHED my nails.. So I paid $45 for 2hrs of service that I now have to go get fixed.. If you ever come here do not see Ryan, once they said Leo wasn't in I should have waited. I called back to say I was unhappy & got "oh sorry" I work in a salon in Westchester, "oh sorry" is not ok.. Beware! New Owners! Not the same!!My simple manicure and pedicure was rushed and looks bad. I had an appointment and the salon was empty; no reason to rush. Ignored the customes and spoke Chinese to each other. When I told her my toe bails hd ti be shorter she gave me attitude. My finger nails beed to be shirt for work. They are short and now uneven. It looks like I bit my nails off. I bring my own polishes. She put on a base coat and insisted I didn't beed a top. I have always put on a top coat. I tried this place out for a few months. I would go for UV Gel. Jimmy who did my nails was always kind however, his Co workers were not as welcoming. The last time I went in they didn't tell me what I would be getting done would be an up charge, and then surprised me at the end. Big disappointment, I suppose I should have asked however, I appreciate when people are upfront about their prices. Everyone here was very careful to social distance and everything was constantly being sprayed and wiped down. My temperature was taken when I walked in. My pedicure (French) and manicure were excellent. I asked for the lines in the French pedicure to be very thin and they were! The staff are all very nice and welcoming and the salon is very clean. I got an acrylic nail set for $65 and the nail did not even last a week before coming off while I do not have a very hands-on lifestyle.

This place has gone down. The lady that oversees the place is so darn rude and greedy! The pedicures are not done the same, they do shortcuts now. And they rush to do the manicures, especially when busy. Appointment mean nothing you still have to wait, and forget about walking in, you wait about 20 minutes before they work on your nails. I'm disappointed been coming here since Mary was owner. Today was my last trip! read more

I am not one to write reviews, however I have never experienced such bad service in my entire life. Got there at 7 pm when they say they close at 730. The head lady said they were closed and could not take my friend and I for a quick fill. We said please as it wasn't the first time we have gone there and she totally disregarded us and walked away and said nothing. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced. First of all I didn't know that if a place closes at 730 they stopped taking people a half hour before for a quick fill, secondly to walk away and ignore us is awful customer service. They have no respect for people and I do not recommend them to anyone. They do a good job but I'm not giving my money to people who are are trying to run out the door of their business a half hour before it closes. read more

When I sat down, the manicurist opened up what appeared to be a clean, sanitized set of manicure tools from a sealed package. Towards the end, as I was sitting there, the manicurist at the next station took the tools he used on his last client and put them in one of these packages, sealed it up and put it away. I didn't see him clean them, but I couldn't be sure. Then, when I was done, my manicurist did the exact same thing and I KNOW she didn't clean them. So they make you think they are using clean tools, but they aren't. My manicure looks nice, but I won't go back there. read more

I have been going to this nail salon every 2 weeks religiously for at least 2 years. I drive past 4-5 other nail salons to get there. I tip everyone who takes care of me but I've run into some problems with the customer service. One time I made an appt and then called to let them know I'd be late and ended up walking in to a very busy salon so I sad and waited patiently bc I knew it was my fault I missed my appt. I sat there for 30 mins without being acknowledged once so I walked out furiously without saying a word. I let that go and continued going back... until today. I got a pedicure and then when I sat down for my manicure I told the girl I wanted a regular gel manicure instead of my usual powder gel manicure. She looked at my confused and told me they have a $5 charge for switching from powder to gel... I was so confused by this because I've never heard of it. Gel manicure costs $25 and powder gel costs $30 so she obviously just wanted the extra $5. So I said well I just need to get my nails done in less than 2 weeks and the gel comes off easier than the powder and I haven't been able to get those colors in a while so I wanted to do it but I'm not paying that extra $5 bc it doesn't make any sense. She then continued with her attitude and told me she doesn't make the prices. The owner could clearly hear the conversation and chose not to chime in. I argued with her for a little while longer and then had enough. I paid for my pedicure and walked out with my nails undone. They don't care if you've been going there for years and bring them costumers they treat you like a dollar sign and clearly try and take advantage of you. I will never go back. read more

Hi, My friend and I arrived at the salon for pedicures and the salon was empty. It is a nice looking salon and we were to catch a movie an hour later. The lady asked us to choose colors (we bought our own) but looked through theirs and the had a lot of colors to choose from, but decided to go with our own. I had a regular Sally Hansen "Complete Salon Manicure" color and my friend had her won Essie Lavender gel color. My friend did not bring the topcoat. I got a regular pedicure and was told by my technician that I needed the gel topcoat so my pedicure wouldn't chip. Ok I said. She put the topcoat on and walked away away and told me to stay where I was. Why? I got up and made a personal call and waited for my friend. When I tried to tip the lady, she told me to 'wait" What's up with the attitude? Anyway my friend got the massage pedicure which cost 35.00 and when she was done and we sat at the table to let our pedicures dry. The girl who took care of my friend handed me the bill and I just put it on my card. My friend did the same. I went over to tip my tech who said "thank you" without looking at me (she was doing a pedicure on another customer) I checked later and I guess she charged me an extra dollar and my friend got charged an extra six dollars too because of the gel color and topcoat??? WTH I am happy with my pedicure but didn't like the hidden charges. So if my friend went with one of their gel colors would she have been charged an extra six dollars too?
