I called and Cai was so nice and accommodating scheduling me within the hour and I'm so glad he did. Anna did my pedicure and not only was she quick but she was thorough and finished me off with a bit of a neck and shoulder massage as my toes dried. The space is very vibrant and there are so many stations, you can get services here anytime, walking in but also pretty quickly. They work hard and get you in and out. All the pedicure stations have massage chairs and I love that they use the plastic protector for the bowls. Every single pedicure tool is newly opened and previously sanitized. All of the scrubbing tools and brushes are also brand new. Only thing that would be nice is if they offered bottled water (even seltzers) or water served in something different than styrofoam cups. IMO It just takes away from the experience. Great location to get your nails done!

It got so bad that the owner came over and finished my nails while they were talking loudly (it seemed like it was about me). She cut two of my cuticles and they started bleeding as well. I left the salon with polish on the skin around a few fingers. I don't think they properly sanitize their tools, I watched them rinse the tools with pedicure water. Disgusting!

Finally, today I found the thing that will make me never return with my business. I made an appointment over a week ago to get a very rare (for me) gel manicure. When booked, I showed the receptionist a photo of what I hope to achieved - plain color gel with a simple half circle above the cuticle in a different color. Day of appointment: get set up with a male I've never seen work there before, who seems rough and like this may be his 2nd (gel) manicure in his career. I have a huge bruise on my hand, which I asked him to be gentle around and he proceeded to roughly massage hand lotion onto - only to giggle when I expressed pain. And to add insult to (literal) injury, I now have a plain color gel manicure with designs I did MYSELF with polish I bought from Marshall's afterwards. When I called (nicely) to express that I was a little disappointed I was told in so many words that I had lofty expectations and designs can be difficult. So don't offer them is my suggestion for the future.. OR possibly pair the person getting the manicure with a skilled manicurist who can work with them to achieve a positive outcome. For the price Coco's charges their customers they should have a little more finesse in handling concerns/grievances - you're not the only nail salon in Putnam.

My experience has always been. 1- I never have to wait and I try to go every week 2- the staff is always pleasant - for Wooley who are not used to Asians-their mannner seems brusque. But I find they are the same in every salon. The language barrier exacerbates this sense but I don't ever take it personally. 3- their prices are amazing for what you get 4- their pedicures are better than what I've paid $200-300 for in high end salons. 5 - All the supplies are clean and sterile. Never had an issue 6- chairs are comfortable and they recently got brand new ones. I go on weekends and I go early. Maybe it gets crowded and people have to wait. It's the nature of the beast. If you like their service but hate to wait, change the time you come. Its like when people bang a restaurant for the wait time but disregard the great food. Good things take time. 7- if they smudge a nail or make an error they take the coats off and they start over. It rarely happens but I've never walked out with anything less than perfect nails.
