I'm not sure why it's taken me almost 10 years to write a review for Shannon F. Probably because it's hard to find the words to describe just how awesome she is at what she does. She is always so patient with my requests and takes the time to really find out exactly what it is I want. I'm not quite sure what I would do without her as my hair stylist - I live 12 hours away in SC and she's the only one who I trust with my hair :) If I could give her 10 stars I would! I've been going here for two years. I have done almost everything to my hair. Highlights, full color, cut, temp color. Shannon m. does amazing highlights and color. She has taken my bleach blonde hair to dark brown and back and every color she does is perfection. She is honest and does good work. I have since convinced my mom to go here and she took my moms old lady cut and color and made her loom 20 years younger. The prices are reasonable too. read more

If i could give no stars, they earned it. I went there a year and a half ago and wanted a simple hair cut. A stacked and layered sort cut - pretty basic. Well the girl butcherwd my hair. I left feeling stupid and when i got home, it was so uneven that i had long chunks hanging all over. I went back in the following day and the owner and a couple stylists were pretty shocked. I got my hair corrected and left feeling better. Fast forward about 1.5 years. Stupidly because it's so close, I decided to give them a try again. I called for an appointment and i requested the same type cut i had the last i was there. The person who's chair i ended up in looked nice enough and after a couple minutes of talking - it was the same girl as last time. I wanted to cry. I didn't know what to do though she seemed smarter and one has to assume if she was still that bad, she'd be fired, right? Right? I ended up getting my hair cut and colored after a long consultation and feeling more comfortable with her. DISASTER! Hair was/horrifically cut with the skill level of a 8th grader. The "color" was non existent. I don't normally color, treat or curl my hair so when someone talks you into bleaching your hair so the can color it - that's serious stuff. Well i was a fool. I left with my hair hacked apart and no color change! Yes, no color change at all. After sitting with my head stinging under a dryer with chemicals in my head - nothing. I left disgusted. It was the end of the day and i had to leave or i would have flipped out. I called the owner the next day and he asked me too please come in so they could see and repair my hair. I went back only to have the talentless defensive stylist explain it was my fault somehow and she cut off the obvious long strands she left all over my head. The owner and the talentless stylist envited me to come in for additional color correction but i will NEVER go back. They stole money from me twice. 2 times i wanted a hair style/cut and it turned into 4 times with a bad end result with a 5th time being necessary to fix the color mistake. Give me a break. Not everyone has skill or talent for cosmetology - clearly. Next time I'm going to En Vogue - there's a reason they have a wait for stylists - they actually give you what you pay for. read more

This place is wonderful. I have had my hair cut, dyed, styled, you name it, my hair has done it. All thanks to the wonderful team at On Line! Recently, I had hair extensions put in. The young lady who did it was fast and efficient and my hair looks more wonderful and healthy than ever! Not to mention, she matched the color PERFECTLY! I for one am very cautious when it comes to styling my hair. I do not like to be pressured into anything that I am not comfortable with and I have to say, I have never felt pressured in any way while getting a treatment done at online. All the stylists are very sweet and make you feel important while sitting in their chair. I have been going back for a while now because of my stylist. She has many years experience in the field and truly knows her products, skills and abilities. From the simple trim to the double process color or highlights, Laurie knows how to do it all. As a walk-in client I didn't know what to expect, but I was more than pleased with the service I was provided! I went in to lighten my hair, and ended up working with Brenda who was AMAZING. She was very helpful and honest when discussing the process of lightening my naturally dark hair and suggesting colors/tones that would complement my skin tone. She was great at matching me to the picture I had shown her, and again was super helpful with suggesting tones that would actually look good on me. She was very friendly and personable, but also was focused on what she was doing rather than just socializing (which as a nervous hair customer made me feel very at ease that she was concentrating on my hair). They were reasonably priced-- having long and think hair I have gotten estimates for lightening my hair from $150 and up without a blowout, and here I paid $130 including wash and dry.
