I was very reluctant to try another new place after 2 horrible experiences, but Lorese didn't disappoint, Cathy cut my hair and did an amazing job, then I went to Jules for my color, again it looked amazing. Their prices are reasonable and it's relatively easy to get an appointment on short notice, of course around holidays are a bit more challenging but that's to be expected. I would definitely recommend them for even the fussiest clients, like me.

I arrived at my appointment, checked in and without any wait, got to meet Marianna who talked me through how we were going tackle my hair. She heard me when I said I wanted to keep the length and get rid of the dead ends. Marianna explained how much we would have to cut to keep my hair healthy and made certain I was okay with that. She seemed really knowledgeable and experienced. I was really pleased with my haircut and styling. My hair looked great and was definitely a style I appreciated (speaking from someone who never wears product or styles her her). The salon is in one of the Clock Tower buildings and it's one of the more spacious salons I've been to in Westchester. The front area by reception was well-maintained. I had an appointment on the early side so I was a bit surprised to see hair clippings on the chairs and the table tops. Usually salons regularly sweep up in between and after appointments. I would still recommend this place without reservations. I'm glad I found a salon that I can go back to more regularly. I'm used to paying a bit more for my hair cut and style. $70 for a cut and style seems like a reasonable price to me.

The appointment itself was quick and easy. I was there on a busy Saturday, and everyone was friendly enough. I chatted a bit with the hairdresser and the person who did my shampoo. Both were very friendly. I'm still looking for a salon where I will leave feeling "wowed," and I don't think this was it, but they were nice enough and have a steady following, so I wouldn't hesitate to try them again.

She reiterated "just below your shoulders?" I said yes. Acer getting my hair washed, I sat down and said "please just not too short." I asked for my hair to be cut just below my shoulders and what I got was a bob. Marcia cut 5+ inches more than I asked. My hair does not even reach my shoulders and to make it worse, the cut is insanely uneven. Women know that their hair is a large part of their confidence and identity and Marcia completely disregarded that. She did as she wished to my hair. I left the salon in tears and will absolutely never return. What a horrible experience.
