Absolutely the worst salon, EVER! Not only was my haircut jacked up, the color was completely washed out within 3-wks & the blowout was like she never used a hairdryer before. I was there for four (4) hours & still I was a mess! BIG waste of time & money - simply STAY AWAY! The salon owner offered to "fix", no charge, but it had to be on her time, weeks later, then when it came time for the appt. I was sick, so the text message response read "OK NO problem, feel better. Call the Salon when you are ready to reschedule". When I called, later that same day, the person answering the phone knew nothing (typical of this place) & then the owner texted, didn't have the guts to call & she wrote...that too much time had passed (what an idiot, it was on her time) & b/c of the cancellations (only one (1) cancellation), I could reschedule, but I would have to pay full price. What a psycho! DON'T GO! THEY ARE NO GOOD! I also paid about $400! DON'T DO IT!!! They should be ashamed of themselves, but they take your money & send you out, looking like a complete mess! I came to pure salon because a previous salon I went to did not do a good job on my hair, I wanted a full head of highlights and instead they did a full head of balayage. I had a consultation with Daniela and then made an appointment with her. Daniela was a true professional, she listened to what I had envisioned for my hair, gave her honest feedback to what had to be done and I truly trusted the process and I was not disappointed one bit. Daniela was professional, kind, funny, and did a beautiful job on my full head of highlights as a blonde. I'm so glad I went to Daniela and Pure salon. The salon is like one big family and you can feel the true small business aspect to it where no client goes home unhappy and they truly love what they do each day. I had been following on Pure Salon on Instagram for almost a year, which is as long as I'd been looking for a salon to make 'mine'. I finally took the plunge in January and made an appointment for color and cut, mostly done through Instagram messaging with Daniela who is the owner. I wasn't happy the outcome of my first appointment, so I messaged Daniela and she immediately had me go in at no charge to fix it. I still wasn't thrilled but didn't want to be annoying and complain again, so I left it alone. Daniela was kind enough to reach out and ask how I liked it, I told her I wasn't thrilled. She offered and promised to give me exactly what I wanted if I'd give the salon another chance and let her do my hair. I waited as couple months until I needed the cut and color done again and went in yesterday to take her up on the offer. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for, and have learned that my hair will never come out looking like any picture because no one's hair is the same. I wasn't sure what to expect but was hoping for the best. Once my hair was cut, dried and even flat ironed (that's never been done before) I was in shock, and almost tears at how beautiful, perfect and was EXACTLY what the picture looked like. She even had her staff take pictures to post on their IG (also never had that done before!). She and they made me feel very valued and special. I was simply a first time customer, that these days, most places don't care if you don't return and because you aren't happy with their service - but Daniela went completely out of her way, above and beyond, to make me a happy and now a returning client. I have now had a full balayage treatment & cut from Gina on two separate occasions. I am floored by the skill, care, and expertise Gina puts into her work. As a natural blonde, I was hesitant to dye my hair, but really wanted something to brighten my overall look. I absolutely LOVE the full balayage from Gina and absolutely recommend her as a stylist! Gina, Kelle, and every employee I've worked with at Pure are so kind, professional, and understanding of your hair goals. Additionally, with the concern about COVID I have to say Pure was really professional with their screening process, keeping a low limit on bodies within the salon, wearing face masks, and providing hand sanitizer. I had been getting regular cuts here for awhile with the same stylist, I won't say her name because I feel bad. Last week I went in and asked for a cut a little bit above my boobs, my hair is now barley sitting on my shoulders. This review was 2 years in the making. Pure Salon was where myself, my son and daughter all went. My daughter put a $200 deposit to have her and her bridal party's hair done. COVID hit and all was changed. Salons closed. Weddings canceled. For my daughter the wedding was canceled twice (venue closed due to COVID). She informed Pure Salon that her wedding was now going to be delayed another year and venue will be in another state. She asked if she could use the deposit for services and she was denied. I've been getting my hair cut by Marina for years and even though I've moved, I still travel just for her service. Marina is without a doubt the sweetest person I've ever known! She cares for her clients like family and makes you feel beautiful and at ease. I have a specific hair routine for my curly hair, so I asked to bring my own products and Marina obliged, no problem. She worked with me and accommodated my hair's specific needs. I had multiple requests: I asked to read ingredients in the salon's products, rinse with cold water, only brush when wet with a wide tooth comb, use a t-shirt instead of a towel to dry my hair, diffuse instead of blow-dry... You name it. Marina didn't question me or cop any type of attitude, despite me being so needy. She listened and followed my requests happily. I can't rave about her service enough! She is genuinely amazing and ALWAYS makes my hair look fantastic. I consistently feel like a supermodel after a Marina haircut, no joke. Pure salon is clean, spacious and stylish. Marina has cut my hair at this location a few times and each experience was wonderful. The salon has their own membership card (I think it's what they called it? Ask for Marina!! Took my daughter here for the first time to get a haircut and blow dry. She has very long and curly hair that gets tangled. In the past she's has complained that other hairstylist would pulled her hair and be too rough. Marina was gentle and took the time to talk with us about her recommendations on the new haircut before she began. She was professional, friendly and patient. I actually went to Pure Salon upon a recommendation from my Mom as she sees Marina for her cut and color. I've been twice now, both times Arlene cut my hair and both times I've walked away extremely happy. The inside is beautifully done and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Go to Arlene at Pure Salon! Five stars all the way around. I've been going to her, at various salons for over 25 years. She is an expert, always willing to explain her process in a friendly way. I have had everything from a short bob to hair over 14inches long and she's always cut, colored and/or styled it with ease. Arlene has done various colors blonde, auburn (even blue and bold red in my more adventurous times) in highlights and they are always flawless. I can't recommend Arlene any higher.
