Excellent nail salon. I go to Nancy every three weeks for a gel manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax, and sometimes a massage. My polish always lasts the full three weeks. It never chips. I never have to do touchups. Nancy is an excellent nail technician and extremely friendly as is the rest of the staff. read more

I'll start by saying I haven't gotten my nails done in a nail spa/salon in about 3 years. I was a little uneasy about just going somewhere I've never been. I actually found that I had a great experience here! I will say it was a very calm environment, extremely clean to appearance, easy location to find, parking is best around back behind the building it can be annoying to park on the main road (52). Nancy did my nails which I was happy about since I've heard great things about her. She did my gel polish manicure along with a paraffin wax dip and it was great. The best part is I only paid $27 +tip where as somewhere else you pay anywhere from $35-$40. Nancy was very gentle and on point with her technique. The only negative I could say is that they don't conversation much with you or each other, but that's not always bad if you just want to relax. Nancy gave two great short massages and was very good at her job. It was fast and on point I arrived at 10:50 AM and was out by 11:35 AM. honestly, I went in with high hopes. I haven't gotten my nails done in years. I left extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I felt rushed from the moment I got in, mind you I called ahead to make an appointment, and the end result was lousy. All I wanted was short tips with a light pink nail polish. I even got gel so they could last. As the nails were being done I felt there was no care in making sure they looked symmetrical or clean. I had to ask to get my cuticles pushed back and I felt like that request was an annoyance. How can you put on tips and not push back cuticles first?? Just look at the pictures, they show the lack of care. I really wanted to love this place, but I left without getting a pedicure after this. read more

Amazing job! I went there for the first time today and it was an amazing experience! Lisa was wonderful with Gel Acrylic Nails! She did them just how I wanted them, was very gentle and quick and did a great job. I'm not sure the other lady's name that did my pedicure but she did an amazing job! I had to come on and update my review because I previously had Golden Polished rated 5 stars and those are no longer my feelings. I had my nails done yesterday with 2 of my sisters before vacation and I was anything but thrilled with my nails. The entire time I felt like Lisa was rushing to get to her next walk in clients meanwhile I had an appointment. I got a mani pedi and powder gel for the manicure. My cuticles have something all over them and my nails look a wreck. If I had time I would go elsewhere and have them redone. I'm in town house sitting for family so decided to stop in for a manicure and pedicure. Everyone was nice and the place was clean but the quality of my services was pretty much average. They had to paint my nails twice because the first color started bubbling after they put oil on them. I didn't mind because the first color was very pale and really streaky looking. They put on the second color and when I left there was nail polish around my fingers. Also my cuticles were still really dry and ragged. read more

I have left reviews before for them but I always like to update when I get a new service. Went today and decided to splurge - got myself and my sister the Pomegranate and Raspberry spa pedicures. They were incredible, from the hot stone massage to the mask treatment, I was so impressed. I also splurged on the 10 minute massage while my nails were drying, and it was worth every penny. This place is affordable - even when I feel like I am splurging I don't break the bank - and they do an amazing job time and time again. I live an hour away but I always come back to them for my acrylics, and now I will for pedicures too! read more

Made an appointment for 5:30pm and specifically mentioned to Lisa the Manager that I could not afford to wait because I had to attend an event therefore timing was of essence. I get there at 5:25pm and Lisa is working on another customer and said it would take 5-10 minutes! Well, I check my watch and now 12 minutes later so I got up and left. Will NEVER go back. Tired of all these nail salons having customers waiting even though appointments have been made. I usually spend minimum of $100/month between UV Gel nail fills, spa pedicures and eyebrows. They rather loose a continuous customer for a $25 walk-in. read more

I'm not from around here but every Saturday I drive my boyfriend up to Putnam to bring him to class.. I wanted to spare time waiting for him so decided to get my nails done... I read every review about every place this seemed the place to go. I got there right when they opened the doors and only one lady was there she sat me down for a pedicure and was taking off the nail polish then all of a sudden some other girl (whom I'm assuming is a regular) and she stops doing my toes and goes right to do her eyes brows WITHOUT TELLING ME !!!! Now the guy came and did my nails which I didn't mind I mean he isnt the best I had due to the whole was a little sloppy but that's not even the point I just thought it was very rude and unprofessional to leave me to go do this girls eyebrows and nails without letting me know.
