The best nail place in the area, hands down! Jason's UV gel looks and feels amazing for 3 weeks. I checked many salons in the area before I landed at Dolce. And only here, I get my gel done the way I like it - thin, so my nails look natural. One time, there was a mix-up with booking. They totally owned it and made sure I left the place happy. They offer water, or, if you feel fancy, even champagne, on the house! The only thing, I guess, they could do better ID - their tv show is always about cooking meat. It's not really aesthetically pleasing, and takes away from the serene experience, especially for a vegan. I'm okay with cooking shows, but raw meat in your face, for two hours is a lot for me. How about some animals, nature, travel show? Or even a cake decorating show? As I said, this takes away from the spa experience for me, but I'm still going back and recommending the place to everyone. Oh, their prices are very competitive as well. read more

I've been to this nail salon several times for pedicures and had good experiences, so I decided to try a UV gel fill for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience with JIM was not good. He didn't speak or engage at all during the service and cut my cuticle with the drill, causing bleeding. There was no apology or acknowledgment, just silence. I decided to give it another chance and returned for a second visit with JIM but the same thing happened again--my cuticle was cut and bleeding, with no apology or concern shown. I was done now. I originally switched from a salon in Mount Kisco because this location was further and more expensive, but after these experiences, I'll be going back. You truly get what you pay for. I was very disappointed, especially since I had better expectations based on my prior pedicure visits. read more

Gel manicure and pedicure The acetone was left on my nails the entire time I got my pedicure. About 45 min. I got home and broke a nail down past the nail bed it was bleeding, then I noticed they were all paper thin and bendable It destroyed my nails and the manager did not even stand when I went to speak to him. He said it was my fault and I must have thin nails repeatedly saying that gel polish does not make your nails stronger. He said there wasn't anything he could do for me and that's just how my nails are. NOT THE 45 MINUTES MY NAILS WERE IN ACITONE!!! He had his elbows on the table and his hands covering his mouth the entire time. This is not how you address issues when they are brought to your attention. I enjoyed my time here! Called made an appt, took me right on time. Love how my nails came out and also LOVED the amazing 10m massage. Will be coming back to try their pedicures. In my opinion this is the best place to get your nails done in all of Westchester. I always do ANC/SNS (dip powder), it never breaks or comes off until I'm ready for my next appointment. The staff is nice and I even pay the extra $10 for the 10min massage because it's so worth it. The pedicure I got here lasted a very long time as well. I have been coming here for a couple of months & been seeing Sue. She is absolutely amazing and does wonderful nails. I decided to continue coming here (& asked for Sue when I made my appointment & I was told that would not be a problem) & made an appointment for my mom, sisters and I to get our nails done for my wedding. When I arrived, I was told Sue would not be in & I would be seeing the owner Lee, fine. I had mentioned to the nail technician that I was getting my nails done for my wedding. He did not seem to care, was very rough and rude. When he was done, there were streaks all over my nails and I asked him to fix them since my hands would be a focal point of the wedding. He told me "we don't fix that here." Then when I complained further, he said he would try to fix them, which ruined them even further. I've got to say, this is one aspect of my wedding that I thought would be relaxing, but it was stressful & infuriating. Never again! read more

I've been going to Dolce for ~6mos and never had a problem with the service until today when nail tech Mickey did my nails for the first time. Usually I go to Josephine (who is absolutely amazing) but she was busy with another client. Let me start by telling you that I called around 4pm to ask if they had any available appointments for a gel manicure and the gentleman that answered the phone told me they weren't busy and I could come now so I left my apartment and got there around 415. The nail tech that I had (Mickey) was extremely rude and cold to me during the entirety of my appointment. I kindly asked her several times if she could cut my cuticles shorter because my cuticles grow quickly and she straight up said "no, and I should charge you extra for cuticle work" (meanwhile im already paying $58 for a gel mani). She then continued to rush through my entire manicure; and, after hitting my thumb nail as she's painting over getting globs of crusted nail polish says "I can't believe I've been doing your nails for an hour and a half..you should've made an appointment.. I have other people coming in" then refused to fix my thumb (that wasn't dry and looked awful) after taking it out of the UV too early for the second time...I asked her if she could fix it and she said she doesn't have time, tells me to come back another day, and finally ends the appointment with "I can't do your nails anymore... I've been here for 30+ years" Let me just say that Josephine is amazing. read more

I found this place on yelp because I was looking for a new nail salon and figured I'd check it out since the reviews were so good. They 100% exceeded my expectations. I made an appointment for 2 pedicures and 2 gel manicures and they took us in on time and offered us champagne or another drink while we had our feet done. They had a lot of options for colors and really took their time when doing our nails. Their prices were also some of the best that I've been able to find around this area.
