I was so disappointed with the service at this nail salon. I took my daughters and the nail technicians were so rude to them. They rushed them to pick a color and gave one of my daughters a totally different design than the one she picked saying that's all she was capable of doing. they were sighing the entire time and got frustrated when one nail got smudged slightly, talking about us in their language. Lastly, they burned my eyebrows badly when I asked for an eyebrow wax, which was not originally part of my appointment. I will never return here again. I've passed by this shop a few times and was hesitant to go in because of the negative reviews, but I finally decided to take a chance, and it was such a pleasant experience that I'm glad I did! The place was clean and big inside, and everyone was delightful. The girl who did my nails was very quiet, but that's ok with me. I'm not the chatty type either (usually LOL)! ;-) While getting my nails done, someone offered me a massage (Lara?), and she was terrific! She asked if I wanted a long massage, and honestly, if I wasn't ready to fall asleep, I might have considered it! She was great, so I made sure to tip her on the way out, and I might have to go in one day, JUST for the massage! I need to go back for a pedicure. Horrible. It has not even been a week and my dip nails are chipped and cracked. I don't even know what to do.... Do I go back and ask them to fix it. It is on several fingers. The previous dip I had on was from another nail salon and I had them on for 3 weeks. I did not do anything that would cause my nail to crack or break. My tech was named Hannah. My experience at this salon was not a pleasant one. I received a pedicure and within 24 hours I discovered 3 chipped nails. When I called the salon to request a refund, I was informed they do not refund their services. I asked them how long their services are supposed to last and was informed 7 days. I followed up by reminding management that my nail service didn't even last 24 hours yet they refused to compensate me. They simply asked if I'd like to come in to fix it. Why would I get them fixed just so they can chip again? As a licensed nail tech myself. I guarantee my work for 2 days weeks. If there are any chips or breaks, I either fix it or provide a refund. But now I am hooked and the 20 or so minutes I get to relax and have someone massage my feet is worth every penny. I have bounced around to several places but have now settled on Natural Nails. The place is neat and clean and try to make an appointment on my days off so I don't have to wait too long. I don't get polish so there's no problem with gels, coverage, and whatever else folks complain about at nail salons. Came here with my boyfriend and we had the most relaxing feel-good time. We both got the hot stone pedicure ($35) and the girls are so nice and professional. When it came time for the 10 minute massage they showed us the timer and had to set in front of us. This pedicure was exactly what I needed from working and being on my feet all day. Absolutely terrible! I had never been here before, but was shopping in that area and it was convenient, looked nice and I did read Yelp which should have been my red flag. I saw a more recent review stating new ownership and quality was better vs the many awful reviews. Aesthetically it's very nice inside, the man at the desk was nice, I picked my color and was put with I think she said Nancy.. I pointed out that my cuticles really needed to be cut down, then when she started w gel I immediately noticed my sides were not done and pointed that out and asked if she could polish the entire nail, she rushed, almost all my nails are not filed & smoothed down, she didn't clean under the nails, the sides were still not polished and cuticles are a mess. Pictures don't do this mess justice and I've never had such a sticky gel manicure done. One of the worst manicures I've ever had along with such a rude and rushed nail tech. read more

I was happily surprised when the receptionist told me to come right over for a pedicure. I had a basic pedicure which was extremely quick and the girl pretended to scrape calloused areas but didn't . So my mother-in-law and I went over to this place to get a gel manicure and pedicure and because we asked for a French-style they charged us $93 when a regular pedicure and manicure cost $53. They justify those extra $40 saying that a Pedicure French cost $30 more and a French manicure cost $10 more than the normal, I'm okay with $10 but $30! Get the F**CK out of here! I was able to secure a Manicure appointment on a holiday weekend. Score! This was my first time here for services though I had previously walked in and checked it out. It is very large and looks clean. During the weekday it's not very busy but that changes on a weekend. Good arrangement of magazines to read while waiting. If you do not bring your own polish, here's the skinny. They carry what appears to be every single ESSIE nail polish ever produced. But, if you are an OPI person (like I am), your options are limited to 10 or 15 polishes. I had to wait a bit, holiday weekend with tons of walk-ins, but was taken by the woman up front (owner / manager possibly). She did a fine job on my nails. I just forgot how much it was but maybe $8 - $10 for the manicure and I paid an extra $1 for Quick Dry. (which seriously dries them faster and gives you some peace of mind when you leave that you don't have to be Super careful with everything you touch the next hour) Manicure and pedicure rates were similar to those of my usual nail place in Yorktown Village. Do note, they do NOT provide a loyalty card (ex: after 10 visits, one free manicure). Convenience is key and I'd be back when in the neighborhood. read more

I was in the shopping center running errands and decided to try it for a quick mani. I wish I read the reviews before I made this decision. First and most importantly- it's dirty! At first sight looks large and clean, but they DO NOT sterilize the tools. She took a dirty cuticle push back tool from her drawer and I swear it had someone's dead skin still stuck to it!!!!!! I told her and she wiped it with nail polish remover. Eww They have NO colors, they all look old and half empty and crusty bottles like they've had them for years. The women had such a puss on her Face the entire time. This place needs a visit from the health department. It could be a good place, large and a lot of people frequent that lot for daily errands . The nail tech didn't check the temperature of the water for the pedicure & when I told her it was way too hot she did nothing about it. Also, grabbed my hands to remove finger polish while I was still in the pedicure chair. When doing the manicure, she grabbed a hot towel that was scalding hot & when I told her it was too hot she said I had baby skin. No it was way too hot. I also pointed out cotton that got stuck to my nails & she tried to get it off & then just decided to keep it there. I went for the first time on a Sunday. I walked in at 5:30 not knowing they close at 6:00 and no one said anything to me, they just asked me what I wanted to get done. I stated a UV Gel and they wanted to charge me $100 for it!! It was so overpriced. I finally settled on $70 for Acrylic tips which is still overpriced and went on my way. Then 3 days after I got my nails done, my thumb nail broke when I went to open the zipper to my purse. Then I went to pet my bosses dog and it caught onto his fur and their went my index finger nail, then went to open the car door and my middle finger one just snaps. I'm sorry but for $70 my nails should have been able to withstand everyday things like this. I wouldn't recommend it. It's a nice place but not worth what they charge. read more

Not a terrible place at first sight but the service was sub par. I had to watch what they were doing with my mani since, after my pedi, I noticed I had nail polish on my skin around the tips of my toes. I had to ask them to even out my nails after filing them because they were uneven and I had to ask them to do touch ups because there were spots completely missed after my second coat. Never, never, ever again. First off the tools are NOT, I repeat NOT sanitized. There's a sanitary area, many of them, however my gal did not take my tools from there nor did she open an individual packet of tools showing and/or encouraging me they were sanitized. Secondly, I asked for gel on my toes and it was like I asked for all the cash in her register... hello wake up! Third, I had to tell her 3x this color here (Gel) is for my toes. Forth, she grabbed my feet mind you and lifted them up so high it hurt just so she could place the gel cooker down...omg ouch and she would pinch my toes with her dragon nails as she was slowly painting them. OH and BTW, did I mention I'm like 9 months pregnant. Whatever, I won't even go on about how dirty the carpets are and about the peeling wallpaper and the puss on her face and the fact she and her other friend were rolling their eyes and speaking in another laguage. The only reason I came here is because my husband bought me a gc to the WRONG nail salon and I said to myself, I might as well try it since I'm due Monday to have a baby. Dear nail gods, I pray, please do not let me get a nail fungus. PLEASE!!! I don't care how much $$ I have left on this gc I'm not coming back. The 3 of us went to this salon for a manicure on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at approx. 1.30PM. On the counter is a price list, which clearly states the prices.. Two of decided a simple manicure and our other party decided on a red jell basis manicure. This jell based manicure is listed at $20. All are done and it's time to pay the bill. Suddenly they charge $30 for the jell manicure. When advising them that their own price list has a price of $20, their reply is " oh, that's the price for clear jell, you must pay more for color jell.". Repeating that nothing is said about color, they reply: "Oh, it's an old price list from 10 years ago". Prices now more". Sorry, we got taken by these people. This is a scam. We never will return. I honestly hope that the police or other Government institution will investigate these people. They are scammers and need to be closed. read more

THE WORST. I went here rather than my usual nail salon because I was in the area. Not only were they twice as expensive as my regular salon, but they were completely unprofessional, and did a horrible job. Let me preface this by saying that I've lived in 13 different cities and had my nails done in each of them, and this was by far the worst manicure I've ever gotten. I had an appointment, but they still made me wait, which was fine. I went in for a gel fill, I was unable to get to my usual salon and I was in a hurry, so when they told me the price (double what I usually pay), I decided to do acrylic instead. About 15 minutes in, a woman came in for an eyebrow wax (no appointment) and the technician asked me if I would mind if she took care of the customer, I told her I was in a hurry but she kept pushing it and making me very uncomfortable, finally even though I told her I was on a time constraint, she took the customer anyway. After all was said and done, it took TWO HOURS for this woman to do a fill. I have never had a manicure take so long. By the time I gt home (30 minutes away), the nail polish which was red had started to turn brown in certain spots. By the next day my nails had a red and brown marbled look, disgusting. I've never seen that happen before and not sure what would cause red Essie polish to turn brown. Within 2 days, two of my nails had broken and fallen off, and less than two weeks later most of them had chipped and lifted at the tips and at the base of my nails by the cuticle. I wouldn't recommend this place even if the manicures were free. Terrible customer service, cheap products, and poor time management. read more

Terrible terrible! Totally agree with Jamie H. Dropped in bc I was going to Home Goods in the same center. Twas a bad decision! At first glance, the salon looks pretty! It is large and spacious! When I walked over to the polishes, I should have immediately walked out: there were few OPI polishes, and those that there were were dirty and almost empty! The Essy polishes were in the same state, but there were more of them! The colors were not varied or up to date either! I chose a polish : I thought it was a newer bottle, but when I sat down, I realized it was half empty too! The woman who was to do my nails grabbed my hand and took out a dirty nail file! I asked her if there was a new file and she dismissed my concerns! Then she started filing my nails... totally ruining the shape and filing them down too short! then she tool out a cuticle pusher from the side of her desk: I said where is your sterilizer: she responded that it was fine fine! I told her that I wanted one from the sterilizer and she grudgingly took a new one out! I had already decided by this time that there was no this lady was going to cut my cuticles! okay: now the polish:: the polish was clearly thinned out! It was going on with a sheen that is only there when polishes are thinned! By this time....I was done! terrible polishing job: I sat under the dryer for a minute: walked out and ran to my usual nail salon! Place should be called NoNo rather than MoMo!!! read more

I would give NEGATIVE STARS if possible. I decided to try this nail salon since it was a holiday weekend and wouldn't have a chance to visit my usual salon in midtown Manhattan - BIG MISTAKE! I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and saw two other customers being served - that should have been my first clue to walk out! The salon looked clean and well maintained. My manicurist was the worst! I came in for a gel manicure and needed to have my current gel manicure removed. Instead of wrapping my nails with foil and polish remover (as my normal salon does), this place had me place my hands in a bowl filled with polish remover which was sitting in a hot bowl of water. The manicurist peeled back the polish but decided that halfway through the process she was tired of waiting for the remover to do it's job so she starting filing away the leftover polish until my nails were left to thin layers of dust! I was horrified. She then proceeded to tell me that one of my nails was too damaged (thanks to her horrible work) and had to have a wrap put on..which of course they would charge me $6 extra for. Another manicurist had to add the wrap and proceeded to do so without removing the leftover polish! Just horrible. All of my nails are weak and have been chipping each day since this disgusting manicure took place. I cannot wait to go back to my normal salon in Manhattan to get a proper manicure. read more
