They'll pull the tray of tools from a lighted box I'm being generous in assuming is a sanitizing UV light, but my last time there the technician actually tapped the cuticle nippers for someone else's skin to come out. Come on. She took a look at my nails (I was desperate and trimmed my own cuticles & filed my nails into the shape I wanted a day earlier. And told her there wasn't much for her to do.) but she picked up the file anyway & went to town, making several nails uneven & crooked looking. And for some reason she dug extra deep on my pinky cuticle so I had to tell her that was enough but she cut a little more leaving me bleeding. Then for the gel polish she was applying she missed a large section on the side of 2 of my nails. I asked her to fix it, which she did. Overall, I'm tired of directing the people working on my nails. And although I have no problem with there being a language barrier, it's a little frustrating to continually sit there in silence as my nail tech carries on a conversation with her colleagues in her native language. I just shouldn't have to tell her my nail needs more polish!

This is the first time i have ever wrote a review due to the fact that i myself work in customer service and feel strongly about ever putting a business down due to many issues the business can be undergoing, such as becoming adapted to clinents needs if it's a new business ,or working with clinents that no matter what ,are and will be never satisfied with their service and give workers a hard time no matter where they go. Myself having a job that entails catering to pubic i am and always have been easy going and empathatic towards workers in simuluiar fields exept this particuliar incident i recently encountoured was so bad that i had to express and pass on my experience. They should be embarassed and ashamed of the way they are running there so called nail salon. I went for a pedicure and they were rude i was rushed into deciding a color and when i asked for a french manicure the women rolled her eyes like i was annoying her. I asked the owner if it was a bad time for me to get the pedicure but he insisted everything was fine. She didnt paint my nails the colors i had requested which was fine i just stopped her before it was to late and asked for her to paint them the way i requested. She in turn became very rude and unproffesional and made me feel like i was being a difficult customer. She never massaged my feet... never pushed down my cuticles and or cut them.. she never buffed my nails or used the callus remover. I basically paid for a pedicure when all i recieved was a polish change and she didn't even do that right. I only recieved one coat when you are supposed to get two and she was so aggravated that i asked for her to do the color i had chose not the one she picked so she painted my nails not only with an attitude but not caring,sloppy and fast. The end result was as if a toddler had done the job. It looked so incredibley bad and she and the owner knew i was upset which again is not like me. Or if i ever have been i let it be but this incident made me sick how they handled the situation. I am a 36 yr old women who has been going to nail salons since im 15 and never have i ever experienced such low class workers running a business like that! They should be ashamed of themselves! I asked the owner how much and he knew i was very unhappy but he still charged me for a pedicure even though i never got what a pedicure entails. I didn't argue i paid and then let him know that it was the worst pedicure i hsve ever got in all my years going to nail salons and he then asked me to leave. i told him gladly but first tipped the girl because i have more class than not to but let them know how disgusted i was and that i would gladly leave and get my toes redone at another nail salon.They looked at me like i was the crazy one and i have, with my experience dealt with difficult customers but i for sure without doubt had every reason to be unhappy and upset. I work hard for my money and the service i got was disappointing not only because it came out horrible but for the lack of neglect and failing to follow the tasks of a basic pedicure and being charged for the price of one. That nail salon is by far THE WORST EVER and it makes me sick to my stomach that i even paid. I feel like i was taken advantage of by not even getting a polish change done correctley. i only tipped the girl because i have no idea what her issues were. As far as the lazy man who retrieves the money at the front desk im guessing the owner who just sits and smiles while all his women work is pathetic. WHatever issues are happening at that nail salon he is a poor business man and failing to cater to his customer needs or overworking his employees is not only selfish but a disgrace! I did the right thing and paid and even tipped after all was said and done but i did go to a nail salon after that and they too along with customers at the salon at went to after were shocked and felt very bad that i had to experience that. That nail salon felt so bad they redid my nails for free and refused to exept money from me after a great job they did so i bought them all dinner and now they have a new customer. I actually found that I had a great experience here! I will say it was a very calm environment, extremely clean to appearance, easy location to find, parking is best around back behind the building it can be annoying to park on the main road (52). Nancy did my nails which I was happy about since I've heard great things about her. She did my gel polish manicure along with a paraffin wax dip and it was great. The best part is I only paid $27 +tip where as somewhere else you pay anywhere from $35-$40. Nancy was very gentle and on point with her technique. The only negative I could say is that they don't conversation much with you or each other, but that's not always bad if you just want to relax. Nancy gave two great short massages and was very good at her job. It was fast and on point I arrived at 10:50 AM and was out by 11:35 AM. Probably the fastest experience I've had at a nail spa/salon.

I was sure the manager must have been playing her own music when I walked in, as it was a very quiet day, she was the only employee and I was the only customer. I asked her specifically about the music, and she responded by saying "Do you like it?" I said "No. I don't. It's horrible, it's terrible language. You really shouldn't play this in a business." She just smiled. It's possible a language barrier prevented her from understanding me, OR her noticing the vulgar and racist lyrics of the music. Who knows. Just be forewarned if your bringing your young daughter for a girls day. Can't even advice you to tell the manager, as she IS the manager. Strange indeed. But I love my nails.
