To be clear: This location gets three stars because Ross and Madeline are wonderful, but the company as a whole is 1-star and I do not recommend renting suits from them. My experience with Jos A. Bank (both this location, two other locations, and their corporate team) was horrific save working with Madeline and Ross at this location. While I truly commend both of them on their wonderful customer service, I cannot recommend anyone even consider renting tuxes from this company. It was by far the most stressful part of planning my wedding, which is outrageous. We had initially been planning on buying suits for our wedding day, but we won 8 tux rentals at the Bridal Show, so we decided to use these instead. Despite being free, they honestly caused more of a headache than they were worth and I wish we'd just bought suits elsewhere. Here are the issues we had: 1) At our first visit, my husband, father, father-in-law, and brother went in with the certificates for the free suits. I wasn't there, but I was told that they completely brushed off the certificates and didn't put anything into the computer. A sales associate also said "Wow, it's so nice that you have three generations in here trying on suits" implying that my dad was my father-in-law's father... my dad is in his 60s. It was incredibly rude. I can't remember that associates name, so I won't take a guess. My brother and husband did manage to get measured. 2) After hearing about this, my mother and I went in to make sure the certificates were on file and being used. The certificates had not been entered into the system by the other associate. When we got there, no one really seemed to know what was going on other than Madeline. She made sure that there were several notes made about the free suit and called the corporate line to make sure there were no issues. We're grateful to her for this. 3) One of our groomsmen in California was yelled at by the manager of his store because he didn't have a group number to put the measurements in. We were never given a group number, and they can easily look up the rental by event date and name. 4) A groomsman in Georgia went to get fitted and the sales associate guessed his jacket size and just told him a number. When he asked if they needed to put it into the computer for the event they told him no. He went outside and called my husband to see if this was correct (it wasn't), and then went back inside to make sure they measured him properly. 5) A groomsman had his measurements already and was trying to call in to give them to the store. He got redirected multiple times by the corporate office and even GOT SENT TO MEN'S WAREHOUSE. How this happened, I have no idea. My best guess is that an employee tried to google their own number and Men's Warehouse had a paid ad. 6) We called the Monday before our wedding to make sure the tuxes were coming in. Thank goodness we did, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T ORDER MY HUSBAND'S TUX. I have no idea how this happened, because my brother, who was measured at the same time had his tux ordered and we had paid a deposit. In the same call, we also learned that one of the tuxes was going to Georgia, even though we'd requested everything get delivered to this location. I honestly am not sure how this would've been fixed if we hadn't called. Luckily, we got in touch with Ross, the store manager, who calmed me down (because I was absolutely livid by this point) and figured out how to get all of the tuxes there on time. 7) When the tuxes came in one was about 4 inches too short and one had jacket sleeves sewn on in a way that they were permanently twisted and not wearable. Both groomsmen were able to go into this location and Ross helped them fix the situation. Tldr; Ross and Madeline are great but this store and company are not worth the awful service and complete lack of quality control that we received from everyone else. If it hadn't been for Ross, my husband wouldn't have had a tux. read more

Great selection and prices. There's also a clearance section with great deals. Tailors are in sure but can come across as rude. read more

Madeline Asst Manager is an Angel, I went into the store to pick up my tailored pants and was told they weren't done So Madeline not only fitted me for another pair of pants but also a shirt too. When we got to the cash register she told me it's ON THE House I was in complete shock. Rented a tux here for a wedding. Multiple buttons on my suit pants and jacket popped off after trying to simply put button through hole. Also tie hook couldn't even hook normally so we had to safety pin it to keep it together. No kind of refund was offered for the trouble the suits caused Update: despite the issues with the tuxedo, everyone I've dealt with since has been very accommodating and understanding in my asking for a refund for the rental. read more

We came here to look for a tux for our wedding and they were rude from the minute we walked through the door. Not friendly and seemed annoyed we were there. Tried to explain what we were looking for and no one could help us or come up with ideas that would make us happy. I must say, I just had the most pleasant experience in your store. We came in and were greeted with the most genuine kind smile. Her name was Madelynn. My friend just got a new job and needed some new attire. She offered to measure him even though he thought he knew his size, he was wrong. Good thing we were lucky enough to be assisted by Madelynn. She showed us everything possible and even suggested some things online. As the Customer Service Manager at Nordstrom, I truly appreciate the service she provided to my friend and I. It was such a seamless experience and it's hard to find good people like her nowadays. I will definitely shop this location when I come back to Arizona, all because of Madelynn. read more

I wrote a bad review after my wedding last month detailing how unhappy I was with the tuxes we rented. I got a response asking me to please call customer service so that my concerns could be addressed. I didn't call initially because I figured there was nothing to be done, the wedding was over. Well we just got our pictures back and my husbands suit looks so awful we r having our pictures taken again. So I called the number thinking they might want to right the situation. When I called the customer service rep actually asked why I was calling, what did I want her to do. Uh, well, could we maybe get another suit for these retakes. She laughed and said no. She might be able to get u a %10 discount. She told me she didn't know why someone told me to call because there was nothing she could do. Please do not shop here people. read more

Needed a suit for walking my daughter down aisle. Haven't bought (or worn) one in 30 years, so went seeking advice, too. Melodie, with great assist from Ross, went out of her way to make me feel welcome. They helped with style, size, color, fit. I tried on multiple options till we found the best fit, and then the tailor came out and offered her own helpful advice. Will reserve final judgement till I see final alterations, but Melodie, Ross, and the tailor were awesome to work with, and I selected exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price. My boyfriend and I visited their location yesterday and were assisted by Ross who seemed annoyed by our presence to begin with. He wasn't listening to what we were looking for, showed us a handful of suits that weren't my boyfriends size and there was two times when he stated "I don't understand your question" in a condescending tone when we actually weren't asking a question to start with. He was also grabbing the items from our hands aggressively. Was not friendly at all and wasn't willing to honor a price that we got quoted (on a business card from the manager at the happy valley location). Instead, he said "they quoted you wrong and if you go back there, that won't be the price" We then drove back to the happy valley location and bought 2 suits at the quoted price on the managers business card (honored by the assistant manager Morgan) and we bought another one off the clearance rack. Spent 45 minutes waiting at the Casa Paloma location in Chandler,AZ. There were two employees working. The first was on her second day and could literally do nothing to help, not even the register. Not her fault as she is new and untrained. The other employee kept helping customers that needed to rang up. Not her fault either as she is only one person. JAB does not staff for the higher customer contact business they run. I needed four suits and shirts. That is the second time at that location with same experience. Never again. read more
