My son needed a suit for bridal photos and we'd been searching high and low for a week the right color and fit at many places. We finally found the perfect suit at Men's Wearhouse the day before the photo shoot. Only problem was that the only pair of pants in stock that were long enough for him (he's 6'3") were a bit too tight in the waist. Because it took so long to find the perfect suit, we were now out of time to wait for the right size pants to ship - as the bridal photos were the next day. We were panicking and then Amanda Laursen, store manager at the Mesa location, had a brilliant suggestion: We could take the tight ones to use for the photoshoot as long as he would ONLY wear them during the photo shoot (about 30 minutes tops), keep them PRISTINE and not take off the tags, then we could bring them right back to return for our money back. A perfect solution because the jacket covered everything and you couldn't even tell they were too tight and had tags in the pictures! I've gotten two suits here for dances and they've both been okay but not amazing. The people who work there try to rush you through the choices and normally try to get you to buy the first suit you try on. I tried on a pair of pants and the guy selling the suit said they looked good and thought it was ok. He said that that type of suit pants was in style. But the pants were 3 sizes too small for me. I ended up having to get a custom pair. They do the same thing with the suit coat and i've never really loved the outcome of the suit. I ordered a suit and explicitly asked them to correct the seam between the sleeve and the coat because when I put it on padding and fabric jutted out. Their response was "that's normal" and refused to fix it. The entire point of tailoring is for it to be customized to the person's fit and preferences. What is normal doesn't enter into the equation (and it wasn't normal anyway). And while I got my money back, because they didn't have a choice, I didn't want my money back. I wanted the suit I paid for, the alterations I paid for, the alterations they said they would do. The fact that it wasn't done right in the first place is an annoyance at worst. But mistakes happen. It's an unfortunate part of doing business. Over a large enough sample of products, there will be mistakes. But when they happen, you are supposed to fix them. You're not supposed to sit there, while wearing a suit whose shoulder seam very clearly doesn't look the same as the altered one you just handed me, and tell me the suit is normal. I could physically grab the excess material on mine yet couldn't on theirs. Refusing to fix it was bad enough, but I suppose they have the right to just return the money, but trying to gaslight me into thinking it was ok and I was just imagining things is a level of unacceptable that I have never in my life experienced. read more

After browsing some retail stores for a suit, I decided to go see the professionals. As soon as I walked through the door at Mens Warehouse, I was greeted by Sam. He was friendly and precise. I asked for a black suit and he found me one right away. After that I got my pants hemmed on-site so the fit perfectly. Sam then picked out a shirt and tie that matched my girlfriends dress. My husband and I have been shopping this location for all the necessary men's clothing for nearly 20 years. There's most definitely a very good reason for this; we've consistently been pleased & excited about our purchases and experience, and never regretted or been dissatisfied in any way! How many businesses can you say that about?! This includes alterations, from the simple to the intricate, which are done expertly on-site. Although we're partial to the manager Rosie, who "took care" of us yesterday and has previously, other wardrobe consultants have helped us in the past. All of them are consistently professional, courteous, and warm, knowledgeable as to style and fit, and attentive to OUR wishes and needs. We've always found selections to meet with our approval as well. They carry accessories such as ties, belts, socks, shoes, and wallets. We've never waited more than a few moments for help.... Yesterday we looked at Dillard's then Macy's only because we were in the Mall already, found nothing, then went to Men's Wearhouse and bought everything we wanted! Well it's 2 days before my daughters wedding. My son goes in to pick up his rental. The shirt and vest are 2 sizes too small. Requested a bow tie. Gave him a regular tie. Shoes are the wrong shoes. He was told nothing they could do about it since the event is in two days. Highly recommend staying away from this place!! How do you get sizing wrong when you have been fitted?!? Though I wouldn't put the blame completely on the particular store or its employees however, overall this company deserves less than one star in my opinion. About 3 months ago me and my fiancé went in to set up rentals for me and my groomsmen. At first things went great, the environment is clean, the staff friendly, and overall a easy and fast set up. I went in and was measured then tried on the suit. I went with navy blue pants/vest, brown shoes and tie for me but bow ties for my grooms men. They entered all the info and I was good to go, my suits would be ready before the wedding for everyone to come try them on, Incase there were issues so they could ship it back and fix any problems before the wedding. Two weeks, towards end of the same month we ordered in, go by and I get a call from one of my groomsmen who received a phone email that his suit was being shipped back to the warehouse because he didn't pick it up on time. My wedding was on May 12th, so 3 months before my wedding and he missed his pick up... so we go in and some how just the one groomsmen suits was set for the wrong date. Well we are here so decided to check out the suit, he had a tie instead of a bow tie as we originally ordered. I tell them and they tell me they don't know how it happened story and say they will reenter the info so the groomsmen get bow ties. We are assured everything will be fixed and on time. Fast forward to 3 days before my wedding and still no call to try on our suits. I call and they had just received them right before I called. Me and my friend go back to pick up our suits, he still has a tie..... Once again they order another bow tie and assure me the problem is fixed. And to pick up his suit the day before the wedding. Day before we get our suits and we're good to go, getting married tomorrow! Day comes and 3 of us have ties and 3 of us have bow ties.... even though the problem was fixed multiple times. My groomsmen had to not wear any ties because we didn't have the right stuff we had paid for. They offered us the 20$ for the ties back and that we were pretty much out of luck that there's nothing they can do. They said 3 hours before my wedding to go to a tie shop and buy ties.... Never again will I deal with this place or recommend it to anyone. read more

I went in for a last minute suit for an upcoming interview that I have TOMORROW. The associate Paul went out of his way to help me out due to the circumstances. I have not received service like that in a long time. I appreciate everything that man has done for me today more than he knows! As for the rest of the staff there I did not speak to anyone else but they were all equally as helpful by checking up on me every few minutes as I sat and waited for Paul to press my suit for me (which I also appreciate greatly). My wife gave me a gift certificate as a Christmas gift along with a gentle nudge to update my wardrobe as I have a tendency to hold on my "good ol' threads" for a bit too long! I visited this location of Men's Warehouse and after walking in, William (Will) came over and asked how he could help me. After explaining my likes and dislikes, I asked Will to help pick out slacks, shirts, sweaters, sweater vests, belts, etc. Will did an outstanding job advising me what would look good when paired together. Once we had that all done, he introduced me to one of their tailors named My Tran (hope I spelled your name correctly!) who carefully took measurements and markings of the various clothing items I'd selected. Several days later, I stopped in to pick up my purchases. Unfortunately, Will was not there at the time and so his manager, Gerry (Gerald) had me try on each tailored item. My Tran had done a fantastic job on every piece that she had worked on! Thanks to my new friends Gerry, My Tran and especially Will! We ( myself, fiancé and his brother) went here to get their suits for our wedding on 7/22/18. We were all excited, but when it came to picking the suits up we were highly disappointed. The first one was ready the following Friday, but they didn't have the zip up garment bag that was paid for. He had to take it home in plastic. Which is not okay for the price of these suits and the Arizona dust. Then the following Monday we were supposed to pick up my fiancé's suit and there were still no zip garment bags. I refused to pick it up until they had bags for both suits. They did nothing to try to obtain one from another location. Finally today I had to call around to find some. After calling around I had to go all the way to Chandler to pick 2 up...with today's gas prices I was not impressed. Why make a bride even more stressed out? We go to pick up his suit today and the manager Jerry practically made it seem like he couldn't help us and wasn't with a customer. He heard us say the name and let us know he still didn't have the bags. After doing all of that he could have at least offered a refund, gas money, or something free. I have never been more disappointed in customer service in my life. The customer should never to have to go through this kind of leg work. That should have been resolved by them before the first suit was picked up. read more

We had a major event in Vegas that required my husband to rent a tux. We went in and got measured at Men's Wearhouse and were told we could pick up in Vegas. We happily agreed. We started to get worried however the closer it got to the event that the tux wouldn't fit right because we were unable to try on before we left. The tux however fit perfectly. The tux was at the Vegas location, it was close to where we were staying. We picked it up and were out in minutes. We had our event that night and flew out early the next morning and were unable to return it to the Men's Wearhouse before we headed out. When we arrived back in town, we easily returned it to a local Men's Wearhouse without a problem. I was so happy with the efficiency and it was also a great tux. My husband looked great and was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this process. read more

Me and my fiancé went in to look at options for suits for our wedding coming up in jan. We were greeted right away and asked what we were looking for. At first it went great. As we were browsing around a younger gal helped us from the rental section. She walked around with me showing me options of ties. She was super nice. All of a sudden what I'm guessing was a manger walked up to her and stated that people were waiting at the rental section and the other gentleman was helping us and was totally rude! He could have waited for her to finish with me. It made me feel like I was not as important and the way he just interrupted her was not called for. The guy helping us at the beginning was getting snappy with us and not listening to what we were saying at all towards the end. Every time my husband had gone to men's warehouse or I have gone with him (including to get a suit for our wedding) the representatives working were very rude to us. They've ignored us, have been unhelpful, and even told my husband they couldn't help him one time and when he went to another location they helped him right away. Will not ever be returning to this location. - also when I've gone with my dad they were very helpful for him. It might just be because we are young, but regardless. I had to use Men's Warehouse for a wedding I attended yesterday. I was in the wedding, and had to get fitted and pay for my suit a couple of months in advance. Everything was fine, until I had to pick the suit up to head to the wedding. The shoes they had given me were not the correct size, and they did not fit me. They gave me a pair of shoes that were a completely different style than the ones I was supposed to have. I literally got yelled at by the wedding coordinator for something I had no control over, and I was excluded from certain pictures because of the shoes. read more

Normally I have an employee approach me within the first 30 seconds of my visit offering to help with sizing and hunting down what I am looking for. After wandering around for 20 minutes and watching the employees goof around and not even offer to help, I walked out. Prior to this experience, I had been true to Men's Wearhouse. I do not wear suits on a regular basis maybe once or twice a year. I am embarrassed to say we did not purchase the suit at men's warehouse beings that I find it hard to spend a lot of money on something I do not use. But I did need the sleeves shortened on the suit I did buy and felt very comfortable with the services of Men's Warehouse. Upon entering the store I was greeted in a way that made me feel as though I had been a customer for years. The associate was warm and friendly as I explained that I was uncomfortable because I didn't buy the suit there but needed it tailored. He still treated me as though I was his best customer even making accommodations for me to pick up my item sooner than originally promised. Gerald is someone I would say is invaluable to your business as he sees every person as a potential new customer by treating them as though they are the most important person at the moment they are in front of him. He took me to the back and stayed with me all the way through my visit. At checkout he made me aware of all the other products Men's Warehouse has other than just suit coats. Before leaving I did take the time to look through the store and was impressed with other items that were available. I appreciate the good old fashioned service as it is rare to find these days. Horrible customer service! My husband purchased 2 suits. When he went in for the alterations (which the fees are too high in my opinion), one suit jacket was the wrong size. No problem, I thought. WRONG! Not only did they not accept responsibility for mis-ordering, they were not even going to offer him any sort of "invonvenience" discount on the alterations charges on the 1 suit that was ordered correctly. This place is over priced, full of snobbish employees who care nothing about customer service. I would NEVER recommend this store. read more

My boyfriend and I walked in to rent a tuxedo and sales woman, Grace, was on the phone gossiping or having a conversation that didn't sound exactly work related, and did not acknowledged us at all until we stood in front of her waiting to be helped. She then said "Ill be right with you" and proceeded to quietly talk on the phone for almost 15 minutes with no intention of helping us. Then a gentleman come out, goes through tags on the rentals, and proceeds to help 2 customers that came in after us. The customer service here is absolutely horrible. It was the first time suit shopping for us and they didn't even try to educate us on anything we might need to know. Any questions we had were ignored. I asked if I could see my fiancé try on a suit multiple times and they had him put on a jacket over his clothes he was wearing. We weren't even offered a fitting room.....we made an appointment to try on suits!! We were not able to try on one suit! That makes no sense! Towards the end it got more awkward. The person who was helping us had someone else come over to help more and in the middle of the other person talking the original person walked away without saying anything! From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, the entire experience was awkward and uncomfortable. I will never go to this store again. If anyone asks for men's wear recommendations i will not refer them here. We went to Dillard's right after and we had a great experience and left with a full suite two hours later. This men's warehouse location is a shame and they should be ashamed of the customer service they have. read more

I came to this store to have my my work shirts altered as they are manufactured by Twin Hill which is owned by the same company and they are supposed to service it at a discount. When I we went in we walked around the store for a while before we could find an associate. When I asked where I need to go for alterations he became annoyed and just pointed me to the back and said to put the shirt on. I slipped into the fitting room and changed and walked out to find I was abandoned. After standing around for about 5 minutes different associate finally walked up. She asked what I needed and when I told her I want my shirt altered she became irate and told me that the shirt fit perfectly. It clearly didn't. It was poofy and had wings for arms. It was way to big. I explained that I needed it to fit better and dismissed her rant. I finally talked to the tailor who confirmed that the shirt needed to be altered and took care of it. When it came time to pay they waned my Email. I always provide my "spam" email that I don't check because who wants ads in their real email. Well, they somehow can verify it and the sales associate became annoyed that it was not active. She asked for another and I declined to give it to her. She was trying to set me up for some club and I told her I wasn't interested. I think she set it up anyway without permission. She then charged me full price rather than the discounted price and told me when I would need to pick it up which is mid day on a week day while I am working. Just don't go here. The people are rude and miserable and have no intention of actually helping you. read more

It was so refreshing to walk into a store and be greeted by a gentleman like Terry who was not only knowledgeable about his product, but provided exemplary customer service as well. I came to Men's Warehouse in need of a new suit for my cousin's October wedding and I had all but given up looking after numerous disappointing and very frustrating shopping experiences at other department stores. I saw their ad and decided to give it one last try at Men's Warehouse. Terry spent over two hours with me, educating me about fabrics, breathability, fit and styles. He assisted me throughout the entire process, helping me try on various styles and colors and putting together the right look for me, including shirts, ties, belts and shoes. Maybe I'm so impressed because I'm an ad man and familiar with design, so I appreciate someone who knows their stuff, but Terry really went the extra mile in making sure I walked out of his store looking and feeling like a new man. I'll be wearing my new suits now with confidence - and that's what really makes the man. The fact that I was able to get two great suits for the price of one didn't hurt either. At that point I truly would not have cared how much I spent, I just wanted a nice suit to wear that fit me right! I liked that they had an in-store alterations expert and she was a gem of a lady. The store manager Rosie Harris also deserves mention, and their regional manager who was there that day (her name escapes me) both took interest in helping me. What a reassuring feeling it was having a team of people helping you -- as opposed to the other department stores I visited with no staff around to help you at all and zero customer service.
