I am in town for a wedding and in the middle of a six week RV trip. I needed to get a fill so I made an appointment across the street from the RV park. I have been getting my nails done by the same person for about 20 years in California so I was reluctant to try out a new place. I felt like I was cheating on my nail person. When I walked in I was greeted by the two ladies in the shop and was asked to wash my hands which didn't bother me in the least as I understood the purpose. The nail technician, Cindy, was fabulous. She asked me what I wanted on my nails. She kept asking to let me know if the file was burning my nail which was a nice touch because it can do that at times. Mid way through Cindy switched to using powder on the tips rather than nail polish because I was on my trip and she wanted them to last. That was super thoughtful on her part. She took her time with my nails, and we talked the entire appointment. My nails look fabulous. I would highly recommend Cindy. read more

My friend and I were really looking forward to our pedicures, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience, especially for $70 each. The experience got off to an odd start when we were told to wash our hands before our pedicures. I've never been asked to do that before a pedicure, so it seemed unusual. From the moment we walked in, there was a strong odor that reminded us of a dirty diaper, and it made it difficult to relax. The walls also appeared to have years of built-up dirt and grime, giving the salon an unclean feel. As for the pedicure itself, I barely felt like I had one. My toenails were hardly clipped, my feet were barely scrubbed or exfoliated, and there was no relaxing massage. I even asked where the massage was because it seemed to be missing from the service. There were no hot towels, which I normally expect with a pedicure at this price. To make matters worse, my big toenails were left uneven. The only highlight was the cat-eye polish was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the $70 price tag I would expect more. read more

My friend and I had appointments for pedicures the first thing we notice was it smelled like a dirty diaper when we entered. I paid $70 for a special #4 pedi. My pedicure was 10 minutes long then the lady was off to give another pedicure to someone else. I sat in the chair for 35 minutes visiting with my friend while she got a real pedicure. Short summary + update: got an infection (paronychia) after going here. Employees are nice but $50 is step for a gel mani, especially one that comes with an infection! Just went to urgent care and they had to cut it (ouch), drain, and now I have to take antibiotics. 5 days ago, my friend and I went to get our nails done. We each got a gel mani. The employees were nice. While there were a little bit of imperfections on the nails between my friend and I, I still would have given 4 stars despite the gel mani being $50 (it's only $25 at my usual salon). The price is a bit steep, but I wasn't too mad because I understood that the world is a mess right now and salon prices have increased. However, for that price, I was not expecting to have my middle finger hurting so bad for just a gel mani. The side of my finger was red and hurt to touch. I thought it would go away, maybe they just cut a cuticle too much. Nope, now I have to find time to go to an urgent care cause I'm pretty sure an infection is starting. Never have I ever had a nail infection from a salon before. The nails are cute but not worth the $50 if I had none one of my fingers was going to hurt so bad from just lightly touching it. I work at a hospital, I have to use my hands a lot, wash them a lot, use hand sanitizer, etc. it's not gonna be fun using that finger now. Like I said, the employees are nice! I hate leaving bad reviews, but I'm really busy with college and work, and having to add a doctor's visit on my list of stuff to do is really frustrating. read more

Newer to the area, visited a couple other salons and was horribly disappointed. Nathan at the north location does a fantastic job w/my gel manicures and is by far one of the best nail techs I've had. Gentle on my nails, artistic, and incredible attention to detail! My husband and I enjoyed wonderful pedicures one Sunday after lunch and had a blast. The atmosphere is fun, lively, and far more upscale than most nail salons. read more

My mom went in today to get her toe nails done and it was the fastest most uncomfortable experience she'd ever have. (there were 3 people in the salon when she got there) it was $70 for 45 min and she sat and soaked for about 10 min. then they charged her another $30 for a "clean up" for her finger nails but that only included cutting her nails down and barely doing cuticle work and MIND YOU, that took less than 10 minutes. they were completely rude and insensitive to her, criticizing her nails and toe nails. saying things like "you buffed your nails to much" even showing the customer next to her by picking up her foot pretty much sharing it to the whole salon. (she didn't even know the gal sitting next to her). They did not show any kind of customer service, just rushing through it and continuing commenting on her nail condition very loud. which is very embarrassing. I'm very disappointed in this place and i recommend getting their act together because they are grown women. let's take our time and be more kind! read more

Did not deliver the service I was expecting, which was unfortunate. I took a reference picture of what I wanted and I was disappointed with the results. It was unprofessional from the start as they switched nail techs mid way to fix a mistake the first nail tech had done. When I asked for a longer length, they denied me and didn't explain why I could not have the length I desire. If I would have known they didn't feel confident in doing the design I wanted, I would have understood and gone with a different design. read more

The staff was super friendly and got me in right away. I was a walk-in. They were very clear about what the services did and did not include and the prices, and I thought was professional. My pedicure was great, the technician was also very friendly, and the pedicure lasted a REALLY LONG time! The manicure was not great. I just wanted my gel polish removed and natural buffed nails. The gel removal was inconsistent with not all of it removed on some nails and so much ground off on others that it went into my nail bed. There really was no "buffing" of my nails to make them look shiny, just what they do standard before any manicure. The biggest negative IMO though, was this place was filthy! Dirty floors, walls, polish stains all over the beat up chairs. It was actually surprising how dirty it was. They are in need of a serious deep clean. read more

I have been going to Jonathan Nails for over 10 years. I always ask for Ravi; she does an amazing job on my gel polish, and it lasts a long time without peeling or chipping. Ravi knows me by name and she and everyone else are super friendly and make sure I'm satisfied with my nails before I leave. I have two other coworkers who go here and we all get compliments on our nails. We have referred several others at our company to the salon. Highly recommend! read more

This nail spa does not deliver a good service or product. My manicure began peeling off, one nail at a time, within 24 hours of the service. In the process, the tech cut my cuticle, twice. The pedicurist was very rough, and did not follow my request to cut my nails short. She hardly trimmed my nails, and even painted over the old polish on one nail. Very poor pedicure experience. I contacted the business to ask for a partial refund, just on the manicure, as a compromise, and they refused. I am disputing the charges with my CC company based on product/service advertised not received. read more

Beautiful salon- confident technician, 40.00 for gel manicure that was poor. The pictures show the distorted shape on several nails. I asked during the fourth colored coat if he could use clear( too many coats will peel in past experience) but he wanted to "make sure" I had good coverage. Overall it is acceptable but it was bad enough that I chose not to tip. I ALWAYS tip 20-25% ....just didn't feel right about tipping with such a high price for average work. I had a pedicure today at Jonathan Nails & Spa. They scraped or sanded the skin off my right big toe knuckle and got a little careless with the nippers on a toe on my left foot. I didn't realize how painfull it would be until I got home. When I called to complain an hour later, they said this kind of injury never happened before and doubted my story. They could only tell me that the manager wasn't there, and offered no help except to say that if it's really bad, go see a doctor ( not that they would pay for it ). I waited for two weeks before writing this review to really put my nails to the test. I got a full set two weeks ago and we have a farm so these nails were going to be going thru the wringer. Johnathan said they weren't going anywhere and he was right! Farm chores twice a day and these nails are just as strong as the day I got them done. No lifting or anything. My first visit here was amazing. I got a fill with gel and a 3d nail design. Johnathan was so sassy and fun. His staff is also with an extra side of sass, engaging and fun for all guests. They were gentle and were even able to match my nail.color close to my car's color which made me very happy. Prices were a little more than I'm used to paying, but the quality of the design and work was well worth it. I loved that he made suggestions, too, on shape. I will definitely be back. The last nail salon i went to did not do a good job. They were sort of all different shapes & sizes. I was going to get a fill, but the quality of my last acrylic set was so bad that I just decided to get them soaked off and get a new set... and I'm so glad I did. I love my nails so much!!! They're beautiful. Jonathan is so funny and does such a great job. He knew exactly the shape I wanted, which I described as "rounded almond". And I used the word "narrow". I got a translucent pink color and they're just slightly sparkly & beautiful! I attached a photo. The only downside is that it was $68. Definitely really expensive. I will be going back but just be warned of the steep price. It's worth it though if you can afford it! Also make an appointment. There still might be a wait. I have been going here for over 2 years and have always had amazing experiences. The comments about them taking advantage of an elderly women is very interesting. My question is, if there is an elderly vulnerable adult, why isn't the caregiver there to monitor? Was there gel involved? With increasing prices everywhere I feel like you should be responsible in asking the price before moving forward. Scapegoating responsibility and defaming a great business because prices increase is gross. They are amazing and honestly their work is always great. Went in for a pedicure based on online ratings, but should have noticed that all the raves were for fancy nails. Points for friendliness, cleanliness and being able to walk in on a weekday evening, but unfortunately the pedicure was seriously sub-par. The polish job was good, which makes sense if their focus here is nails, but my feet came out cracked, rough, dry and even dirty. My heels literally look worse two hours after the pedicure than when I went in. I was hoping to wear sandals at a wedding tomorrow, but these feet are embarrassing. I even paid extra for a "scrub" but it was just a very ineffectual exfoliant on the legs. Nearly 40 plus tip for what amounts to a polish change is not something I can afford. Definitely not worth it. At the end of each summer, I treat myself to a pedicure as a way to thank my feet after what I put them through in a summer season. After seeing the high star rating for this place, my girlfriend and I figured it would be wonderful, and so we scheduled an appointment earlier this week. The staff was nice and friendly, and took the right pandemic measures for safety, but the actual pedicures themselves were subpar and disappointing unfortunately. While my girlfriend's pedicure was underway, I waited patiently for mine to start 20ish minutes later which I was okay with as they were busy and I was in no hurry. However, the woman who did my pedicure rushed through the process so quickly my girlfriend and I finished our pedicures at the same time. Nails weren't trimmed, the nail polish was uneven and chunky in places as well as painted on our skin. I didn't feel pampered, or taken care of as my feet looked just as sad as before, and we both feel robbed paying as much as we did for sloppily painted toes. They don't deserve the ratings they have, and I wouldn't recommend this place if you're wanting to feel any sort of pampering. read more
