I was there fore 3 hours!!! A guy messed up my french tip & had to soak them off. He left me where for 45 minutes & finally after a while I got good service. The overall place was fine but it's hit or miss if you get good nails. I stopped in from out of state for a simple manicure. The tech was kind of rude and didn't seem experienced. I asked for no gel, which they did, but when I got home I had to go to my salon to have it removed. My tech said they put dip polish as a top coat??? She had to scrape it off! The polish never cured right and it wrinkled up. Worst manicure ever for $35. I could have done a better job but I couldn't get the polish off! Upcharged. Nail Salons are a dime a dozen. If ISO a new salon keep looking. I've been there a few times. The first time the guy was very rude to me, cut my cuticle and made me bleed then acted like he was pissed at ME. The second time I got gel polish and she ground my nails down so much they hurt and ruined my nails. The third time I went back only because I had a gift card. I asked for regular polish for a pedi. They applied gel and when I said I asked for regular polish they said rudely they could take it off and start over or I could pay the 50$ gel price. Needless to say I won't be back...EVER! read more

Two of us were getting pedicures and full sets, the other just a fill. My full set turned out terrible. Super thick and lumpy. No smooth edges and the guy kept getting annoyed with me because I was pointing out his flawed work. Finally I just shut up and hoped for the best. My friends nails turned out beautiful, but her lady was really cranky and rough with her. The pedicures turned out fine, different technicians did them. It is so sad to see so many one star reviews. Yes this place isn't laying down a red carpet as you enter but it is professional, they do a great job, they are kind and efficient. I saw about 15 other people getting their nails done while I was there and they seemed to all be enjoying themselves. It goes to show that people only review if they have a complaint. In my opinion Celine is the only tech worth coming to here, I've had 3 different techs other than her since she's been gone and it doesn't look like she's coming back... Celine always takes her time and her designs are excellent but as for the others... Judge for yourself. For this set, on the ring finger I asked for the techs favorite flower to do as I've noticed when I ask for something specific it doesn't come out. I can still barely tell it's supposed to be a flower. I don't like giving bad reviews but i've given this salon multiple chances and they've disappointed me every time. read more

Terrible service from an older woman who was not paying attention and got distracted walked away about 3 to 4 times. She dug into my toe pulling something and made me bleed so bad that even the next day it's still hard to walk. 3 toes are bleeding from her poor pedicure job. the prices online are not the same in the store. My friend and I got #2 and her experience was a lot better than mine but also made her toes bleed. My technician used small packets of scrub that was already opened. The towel she laid on my legs was not hot at all. But what really was poor was her calling me DIFFICULT, several times to me and under her breath bc I was a little ticklish. On Friday September 20, I went in to have my nails done and wax. I have been a customer for the last 14 years and never had a problem. They really do good work. but this last time was very disconcerting. I paid 50. 00 for a new set of nails which was fine and wanted the waxing of my eyebrows lip and chin. This has cost me $35.oo in the past. I told the gal what I wanted and then she started waxing my face. I told her I did not want that. She said it was only an extra 5.o0 so I was not going to argue about it. When I went to pay, I was presented with a bill for 110.00, 60 which was for waxing. I was shocked. I asked why so much, and she said that she waxed my neck. I do not have hair on my neck, and did not ask for it and it did not happen. She did not wax my neck. The shop was busy, so I was not going to start any argument. I paid the bill and felt like I had been taken badly. Throughout the weekend I could not let it go which is why I am writing this review. As I said, the work is very good but buyer beware, get the price before you have the work done. I am reluctant to go back there after 14 years but clearly, I feel violated. The last time I had waxing done was two months ago and at that time I paid 35.00. I got charged 75% more. I did not feel that a phone call to the owner would have been worthwhile which is why I am writing the review. This is a great disappointment because I have never written a review for anything. Maybe I just got the worst esthetician or maybe they are just a terrible, overpriced nail salon. I got the $40 option. A little salt scrub, like 30 seconds, and instead of a massage she lightly rubbed lotion on the front of my Legs for several minutes. Seriously. No massage. No callous removal. One big toe longer than the other. My person was long gone so my friend asked if they'd fix it. We got a long explanation why one toenail was bigger. None of which made any sense. Oh My God! What's this place?? Bunch of Vietnamese nail tech robbers?? I should have read the review before going in? May vault I guess? Let me rewind the story few steps back.y gf and I were spending quality time at TJ Max when the idea of pedicure came up. My usual pedicure place is Famous Nails but since I missed my last appointment to take care urgent matter & she also needed pedicure, we decided to call Foxy to see if they can fit us in right this moment. Of course all nail places run by Vietnamese always says YES! Off we left TJ Maxx, moved our car to near Foxy and walked in. They ran about 80% capacity by this time. There were 3 pedicure chairs left and 2 are next to each other (#9 & #10). I took #10, and turned out this one was missing massage remote (strike #1). So DO NOT CHOOSE #10 chair! I asked for the remote, ignored. We both got a lady pedicurist. They both started filling up the water, my friend asked for warmer water, ignored. My turn putting my feet inside the basin, I too asked for warmer water. My lady just acknowledged my request and said "oh want warmer?" I replied "yes, please!". Ignored! Strike #2 Then pedicure pro was started, holy cow! Are these two ladies need to take a dump or something? What's this? Express pedicure with severely lack of attentions to details? The entire session was done in less than 30 mins. The hell?? We both picked gel and it cost us $40.00. Strike #3. I know how much gel usually cost, but at that lighting speed pedicure, I thought the price is discounted. We talked about TIP? Should we give tip? Do they deserve one? We decided if the cost is $35, we will give $3 tip. If the coat is $40 (which usually is my cost) we will give ZERO! We checked out, cost was $40! That's it! Will NEVER EVER RETURN to this place!!!! EVER!!! If you must come here, ask for a guy named Jonathan! Out of all those techs, he is the one who would clean, scrub, massage and give you the best pedicure. Probably the most mediocre pedicure I've ever had. An ehhh one at $25, but I paid $50 (with gel) and it was not good. Wait time was longer than the entire pedi, supposed to have a sugar scrub and then lotion rub but they were done together in about 6 minutes total. Hardly a scrub on the bottom and kind of a sloppy paint job. Be mindful. They're so busy, they don't take the time to be quality, too focused on quantity. I will never go back. read more

The removing though?? Did not use acetone. Used a nail tip and pried off the acrylic. In this method several layers of my natural nails were removed and extremely sensitive. The lady kept telling me to relax my hands and pulling them back towards her. read more

I have debated for 2 weeks about this review. I found this place last year on whim. I have loved coming here. Stephanie and Steven do amazing work and have always made things right. I drive about 40 minutes each trip one way. 2 weeks ago I called for an appt for a fill. Got one. I decided to take my daughter and let her get a mani. We have our own polish. We get there they have time to take her so she goes back first. While I wait for Steven. She is done in about 10 minutes. I kept thinking that was quick. She is 10 but whatever. I get my nails done go to pay and it was $25 for her mani and $30 for me. I pay and leave. After talking to my daughter her hands werent soaked in water. Her nails not trimmed, ect. So it was $25 to paint her nails with our own gel color and a flower. Sorry but that's not okay. Sad to have to try and find another nail place. read more

Well I have never been to Foxy Nails before. My friend had suggested going there so my other friend and I went! My friend needed a fill and I needed a full set. My nails are thick which is ok! Better than thin but the guy that did my nails didn't make my flowers how the picture was and they were not very centered, he also put on the clear coat dried them and after that he filed them without putting another clear coat on so I left with scuffs on my nails which was upsetting. My other friends nails were cute! My the price was a little much. My set was 70! And for a fill ended up being 65, basically a new set. Just wish they did a little better and weren't so spendy! read more

I went here to get a set of acrylics a few days ago. I was surprised at the size of the place after walking in. Much bigger than it looks from the outside. I was sent to "Danny the Nyguen"'s station. He was extremely rude. He hardly talked to me except for asking me "Do gel next time okay?" I said, "i brought my own polish. I like it.." He stops and says "do gel next time" If I don't want gel. I don't want gel. Anyway. I noticed a bump on my cuticle yesterday. It's infected! My middle nail on my right hand is SO crooked. Oh. And when I was paying, he charged $35 Even though the sign outside says $29.99 I gave him forty and was standing there waiting for my change. He looks at me and goes "what" And I'm like "dude I need my change?" "Oh ok ok." This dude fans out 5 ones to me. I tried to swipe all of them out of his hand, because are you fu***** kidding me? STEVEN the owner said many uncomfortable things to my sister and I: one of them referencing the hyenas from The Lion King and how they say "if you ever come back here, we will kill you"... so that felt great. So inappropriate and unprofessional and honestly unstable. The woman who did my sisters nails would not listen to what my sister wanted shape wise and so then decided to get up walk away and ignore her completely, abandoning her job. When Steven took over he then proceeded to tell my sister that her nail beds are too short and therefore impossible to make beautiful. This establishment is disgusting, as a woman I feel my safety was threatened. Thank God JASMINE was working- she saved the day. She was kind and fixed my sisters nails and God bless her. My stomach is sick over this experience. DO NOT GIVE THIS UNSAFE MAN YOUR MONEY. He doesn't respect women and honestly is a disgrace to the beauty industry. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because my nails actually look okay. I used to come here all the time years ago and stopped coming and now I remember why.I had the misfortune of having Theresa as my tech for my manicure. She was so rude the entire time and treated me like I was the biggest inconvenience. (I did come in around five but they don't close until seven so I'm not sure why I was rushed so much.) She seemed to not like the color I picked (?),completely ignored me during the appointment even when I tried to make conversation but seemed to be able to talk to all of her friends that were working there. I had asked for an almond shaped nail, but when she did them they looked too pointed for me (almost like a stiletto) so I asked her round them more and she got mad at me for not knowing what I wanted and then super roughly re-rounded them, to the point where I had cuts in two spots and my nails are so incredibly sore today. Then I could hear her talking to her coworkers about them and me. Obviously not Word for Word, but I could hear "Almond" in her comments several times and then people laughing. She also kept getting mad at me for being too stiff so then I would try to relax, and then she got mad at me for not paying attention. I was trying to be really nice during the appointment, her and the rest of the staff just seem to not care about their clients. I for sure won't be back ever, I don't care if I can't color match for a fill at another salon I will not come back and and pay money to be treated like garbage.
