Quick service, very patient cashier when I had questions about the menu. I ordered the two piece chicken and two sides with adobo rice and French fries. Chicken came out crispy and French fries were McDonalds level (just not as salty). Adobo rice with gravy was deliciously satisfying. We also got the spicy chicken sandwich with mango peach pie. MUST TRY: Mango peach pie. Tastes like butter, fruit, and deliciousness. Ben had been wanting to try this place out for some time as he was told about it by a friend that just raved about it. Finally while in the area we decided to stop it. We stood far back while looking at the menu and prices. Now, I am a lover of fried chicken but I also have my limits on costs especially when it comes to what I would consider fast food. Honestly, I was really happy that Ben and I were just looking for a snack and could share something because I personally feel it is a little pricey of a combo meal of about $13.00 for 3 pieces of chicken that you get only 1 side. It comes with a soda but when ordering the young cashier acted like it wasn't included. We sat down and noticed that the mash potatoes came with gravy and then we were given extra gravy in another bowl. Not sure that is normal or just a mistake on ours. We who doesn't like gravy? Ben tried his spicy leg first and then mentioned it not really having any. So I don't like spicy but I figured I would try it. I could feel a little heat but nothing that even I couldn't handle. I took the thigh and I do have to say that the skin was super crunchy which is a big plus. And not the crunchy where all the breading falls off, the good 'ol chicken skin itself crunchy. All pieces were very juicy, I will definitely give them that. Not too much flavor on the skin itself but did have that great crunch. The mashed potatoes and gravy were actually really good as well. As we got to the bottom you could feep small potatoe pieces and with that extra gravy, we took that home with us. Honestly, I would go back if it wasn't for the price. The offer family meals and 9 piece buckets but they were way too much for what it is. I was excited to try Jollibees . I went yesterday after work 3/23/2025. Got there at 5:27 and the place was packed . I was second in line and after the party in front of me ordered I was completely ignored . It was odd - no eye contact - no I'll be right with you - just a bunch of drive up window being taken care of . I finally got my order taken at 5:39 . Then I waited ..... and waited . The couple ahead of me got their order so I thought I'm next . Nope . After several parties that were behind me got served I approached counter and asked a nice employee about my order he was very gracious ( I got the feeling my order was never placed because he asked for my reciept and kept it . I waited some more - he came over and seemed sincerely upset and told me there would be a wait for the biscuits and Mac and cheese . I told him to forget it and he said he would credit my card and give me the uncompleted order . Again he was super nice. I waited some more and manager Melvin came out . I think he must be the kitchen manager because he has absolutely zero front of house skill. He handed me a bag ( I had been there 40 minutes ) and said he was sorry for the mix up ( very insincere) I explained what happened he appeared not to hear a word I was saying . I told him that the nice employee said he would credit my card and Manager Melvin told me only the manager could make that decision- I told him how unhappy I was and he said he was sorry and he smirked at me - SMIRK - smile in a smug - conceited- irritated way . I just gotta say that Jollibee not only has the best fried chicken, their pieces are big compared to churches and Popeyes They're tasty tender and way better than their competition like Popeyes and churches. Now they've introduced new Angus burgers, which I thought I'd try at a chicken place and OMG I had their aloha burger. It was awesome. I had to go back the next day to have another one and then the day after I tried their deluxe, Angus burger and OMG again it was so tasty and juicy and Then will be going back again. The next time I want a burger. Five guys and In-N-Out Burger and Culver's they all have very good burgers, but I'm sorry the Jollibee burgers were awesome. Been to this location a couple of times. The food has been consistently delicious. I have had Chicken Joy and spicy. I love the Adobo Rice. The fried pies are DELICIOUS!! So far I've had the peach mango, coconut pineapple, and banana langka. Only complaint is the drive through is never open. Service still seems to be fast. It is just a little inconvenient to have to go in when the parking is extremely limited. read more

After all the hype we just found this typical fast food with some items that were just meh and some that were pretty good. I personally don't get the spaghetti fandom. It's often described as sweet (which would be fine), but this isn't just sweet; it's BBQ sauce. A few bites were enough for me; it's just too weird. We did really like the chicken how we ver. We are dark meat people so not having to request legs & thighs only was a nice change. The chicken was crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the pieces were good sized. The flavor profile was solid but nothing unique. The dipping gravy was nice but for a bucket of 6 pieces they could have given us a more generous portion. The Peach Mango Pie and the Pineapple Coconut Pie were both very good. The crust was flakier than McDonalds but on the flip side the Jollibee pies have less filling. This was a pretty expensive fast food visit - 6 pieces of chicken, one mashed potato side, large spaghetti, 3 PM pies and 1 PC pie came to over $50. Overall it's good, fast food chicken. For us it's a good 30 min drive so we prob won't make a special trip again just for this but if we're down that way and the car votes Jollibee I won't argue. read more

To be completely honest. I didn't want to like Jolibee. I didn't want to like it primarily because I had to wait so long. Jolibee is not "fast" fast food like its competitors. Jolibee takes time so remember that when you're trying to eat there. Jolibee is always packed. There have been times I've tried to go and the line is so long I just leave out of frustration and hunger, but the other day I decided to wait. Since I was there I decided to almost over everything I could see. Here's what I got: Two piece with spaghetti Three piece tenders with gravy Chicken sandwich with fries Other than the frustration of the wait, part of the order was wrong. An order of fries was missing. I was given the spicy chicken sandwich when I ordered the original. But all in all I have to say that everything was freaking delicious. What I loved most about the chicken is that its got a great crispy skin on it, especially the tenders. Most tenders are super soft, but these had a nice crunch to the breading like it was regular piece of chicken from the bucket. The gravy for the fries was a little watery, but had a nice flavor to it. The spaghetti was the real treat. To be honest, I don't really know what was in it, but man it was good. It's sweet and overall really tasty. I'd get pretty much everything all over again. The food is good. The wait is long. They are on DoorDash so maybe that's a better option to not waste your time. Unfortunately the American locations quit serving breakfast. Loved the corned beef, egg and rice breakfast along with the longanisa breakfast as well when they served them. The food can take a bit too long. The aloha burger and the big yum burger are both good. The chicken joy is my wife's favorite ( she is from the Philippines home yo them) but she even is upset about no more breakfast and the time it can take to get our order. read more

Update 10/12/23 Food's been getting very salty if you are on a salt restricted died forget this place. Chicken joy is very salty, spaghetti is very salty, peach mango pie taste like they used unripe mangoes. The food quality's has gone downhill. I rarely go here anymore because of that reason. I was uniquely intrigued to visit Jollibee for the very first time. I was interested to see what a Filipino fried chicken restaurant would be like my nephews happen to be half Filipino as well. I've got to be honest with you. The chicken was surprisingly really good. I had saw a TikTok online which recommended dipping your fried chicken in their signature brown gravy. And let's be honest it's slaps. I would definitely like to try some of the other items on the menu, like the spaghetti and the Palabok. Our first trip to jollibee was on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30pm. The place was packed! It was loud & chaotic in there, Things moved quite quickly though We ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich combos with mashed potatoes & gravy & an upcharge for pineapple coolers since they do not have iced tea. We also had 2 pineapple coconut pies. We took this to go. The drinks were surprisingly good! I was afraid it would be sweet. It was just enough sweet without ruining the fresh flavor. Although I do wish they had fresh brewed tea. It's hot in Florida & I try to avoid much soda. The mashed potatoes were good but kind of a rip off. The portion size was tiny. The bowl was half empty. The sandwiches were quite heavy & really good. They were quite soggy though. I ended up just eating the chicken off the bun. The spicy wasn't really spicy chicken. They made it spicy by adding fresh jalepenos on the bottom of the bun. They were definitely hot but, I would not order this again. It was good but, I expected spicy seasoning on the chicken not just jalepeno on a bun. The pies were fresh & delicious however I did not taste coconut, it was more a fried pineapple pie. We actually saved these to eat later. They were still good. Our order was $32. Overall I'd say it's worth a visit. The chicken is crispy & fresh. It does lack seasoning though & honestly, for the price, we will try them again but, I think they need a few improvements. First... that tiny spoon of potatoes is a scam. Also, seasoning is important. If a sandwich says spicy... maybe some spices, red pepper or even hot sauce. They do have a lot to offer. I noticed a few people compare them to kfc. They have higher prices & less seasoning than kfc. They do however offer a larger selection with better customer service than kfc. I wish every hype lived up to its name but unfortunately, Jollibee was a miss for me. We had been stalling going there because of the long lines but decided maybe they've slowed down a bit so we went on a Saturday night. There is no dine in so that's out of the question, only drive thru. The meal combos are quite expensive, ranging from $9 to the family meals. Drive thru wasn't too bad of a wait, maybe 7 minutes? It really was the wait for the food that was the longest. There were maybe 5 cars waiting for food ahead of us and in total wait for the food, it was probably 45 minutes. I was hoping the food was going to make up for it but it didn't. Spaghetti: sweet and salty, it was overwhelming for me. I did not enjoy it at all. Fried chicken: you can get this fried chicken anywhere. There was nothing special about theirs. Fries: It was actually pretty good, 1 star for that. Rice: it's more like broken rice so you'll have to eat it with a fork. Palabok: it was okay, not good and not bad. It was a weird taste. Peach and mango pie: I don't know what the big deal about these were but it didn't strike a chord with me. All in all, for fast food, this was anything but that. It is unfortunate for a follow up review I have only give this place 2 stars. I understand that we are in a Pandemic. I understand that things may be a bit slower due to a mix of takeout orders and drive thru orders. But I think it is inexcusable to have to wait over an hour for your food when everything is pretty much deep fried. What happened to the fast in fast food?? I decided to swing by to try the new Chicken Sandwich that just came out. In terms of the sandwich itself, pretty solid. Chicken had a nice crispy crust. Inside was nice and moist. The addition of fresh jalapeños and the spicy sauce adds a good kick to really wake up your taste buds. But while the sandwich was solid, the service left me far from jolly. I truly think the terrible service I experienced that day was a lack of preparation and management. You go in and there was mass confusion as to who ordered what and what orders have been completed. No one was properly expediting orders or calling out what was needed. This combined with a huge backlog of takeout orders was completely sinking the restaurant that day. Word of advice, you really have to get more organized. If fast food is no longer "fast" and customers are waiting 45 minutes to an hour for their order, you just missed the point. read more

I always wanted to try the famous Jollibee but being so far in St Pete I couldn't justify driving 30 mins just for some fried chicken. However, when I went to St Pete beach I thought this was the perfect opportunity to finally try it and I was determined! Going there I believe the only option was drive thru and the line was long. Like longer than chick fil a's drive thru. Understandable, since it's so popular and there is only one location that I know of in Tampa Bay. Getting the food was even longer though. After I made my order, I, along with every other car had to park in the parking lot and wait for our food to be prepared. That took about 30 minutes and I almost wondered if they forgot about me. Finally getting my food and trying it I can confidently say the long drive and wait is not worth it. I got the 3 piece meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, pineapple juice and their peach mango pie. The gravy is delicious and so is the chicken so paired together it's amazing but honestly, it didn't blow my mind like I thought it would. Maybe the hype got to me but overall it was just a good meal. The mango peach pie I would definitely recommend! That was amazing! As a Filipino who has been deprived of Filipino food because of where I live, I was really looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The service was absolutely slow and they left out a few things from our order (we went through the drive thru). I usually love their chicken, but this location had extremely greasy chicken, it was unbearable. I probably won't find myself visiting this place again, but it's sad that my first time here was disappointing. I was eyes on this restaurant for long time. Every time I pass by there is a long line. Finally a weekday that has no much customers. I was able to walk in and order without waiting. I have it to go. I order a palabok fiesta with one non spicy chicken joy. The palabok is rice clear noodle with shrimp, ground pork and egg. It is just an ok dish. The fried chicken joy is better. I also has the spaghetti with two spicy chicken joy. The spicy of the seasoning is actually skin deep. Spaghetti is average. The best among all is peach mango pie. This is their best dish. I would recommend this. The order was prepared fast. I really don't like the packaging. It is paper box that is not secure. Especially the food is more heavy than the box can bear. Loved loved loved this Jollibee! Found out about this place from one of my Filipino friends. She gave me the heads up when I told her I would be in the Tampa area. Jollibee is a fast food spot, so don't expect find dining. Even though we weren't allowed inside (social distancing), we were able to look and it's a cute franchise with the Jolliebee theme and decoration. Service was great and the employees were super perky and even greated us with "are you having a jolly day today?". About the food. Try everything I ordered. Pineapple juice (doesn't taste fake and not too sugary), Spicy fried chicken (a bit spicy but super juicy), palabok (noodles with garlic sauce, shrimp, egg), gravy with chicken, sweet spaghetti, mango peach pie (a must).
