I had a craving for chicken so stopped in at PDQ. Ordered the 5 Sauced Chicken Tenders Meal ($13.89). Chose Garlic Buffalo for my sauce, and Upgraded my side dish to Parmesan Broccoli ($1.89). The Parmesan Broccoli was fantastic. Tender broccoli tips with shredded Parmesan. Wish the side was larger. The garlic buffalo sauce on the tenders was subtle. Could taste the garlic but the buffalo would better be described as a calf - no heat. The dining room has every type of seating available. You can sit at the counter, choose a booth both square and round, sit at tables both low and high, or enjoy outdoor seating in a covered porch. Total bill $16.88 which I think was a little pricey. This visit I tried the spicy chicken sandwich and hubby had the crispy chicken sandwich. The quality of the chicken was outstanding, honestly there are actual restaurants out there that can't make chicken sandwiches this fresh, and tasty. The chicken was huge, piping hot, juicy, and seasoned well. The waffle fries are great as well. I certainly didn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners as you tend to feel at some places. Great food, good value My only issue was the drink had way too much ice and not enough drinks but that's definitely not an issue that can't be fixed by saying "light ice" please. Enjoy! PDQ is known for its freshness! I recently stopped by for a first time taste of the chicken tenders. Chicken so flavorful cooked in a light breadcrumbs. The salad I ordered was a good size with fresh tomatoes and a very large choice of Homemade dressings. I loved the blue cheese. I've been to all the other chicken restaurants where they use the same oil to fry all day long. No greasy taste at PDQ where oil is changed frequently throughout the day. This was worth my visit and I intend to return. Clean restaurant with friendly welcoming hosts and enlightened management who encourage their employees as I noticed in their interactions. We had lunch here for a family meetup the day after Christmas. A total of 5 adults & 5 teenagers. We had all different food items. Salads, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and fries. Our order was ready quickly and everything was hot and delicious. The managers here are really accommodating us. We were able to put a few tables together outside & had our two small dogs with us. Tried the fall special - two layers of fried turkey with cranberry sauce on a bun - and wow! You've got to get this because the breading has lots of stuffing-esque spices. The pimento crunch was also delicious. It's got pimento cheese, of course, plus bacon and chips IN the sandwich. The tenders are a great move here and they've got tons of sauces to choose from. While visiting family in Pinellas County we decided to stop in and grab a bite to eat. We have seen PDQ restaurants in various places and were curious as to what they were all about. First, the initials PDQ stand for People Dedicated to Quality. It serves various dishes of chicken tenders. I consider it an upscale fast food establishment. They have a large menu in the wall to make your meal choices from then you go up to their counter and place your order. In front of the counter is various bottled drinks but they also have a drink station with sodas and teas. They even offer a flavored green tea. Near the drink station is a hand washing area which I think is a great idea! The server then brings your food to your table after you get your drinks. They identify you by the the number we were handed after placing our order at the counter. In our party of four I was the only oddball to order a salad. Everyone else choose their chicken strip meal which was fried. Portions were large and everyone said their chicken strips were very tasty and moist. Sides are a la carte. I had their Mediterranean Salad which consisted of grilled chicken strips, mixed greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, pepperoncini peppers, feta cheese and a scoop of hummus. It was served with a lemon chile vinaigrette. I have to say I was impressed. It was delicious! Everything was fresh, the hummus had a good flavor- it was a nice twist to the salad. I loved the dressing it really complimented the salad well. My hubby and I ordered sides of zucchini fries. They were very tasty and they gave a a dipping sauce of our choice. I chose a sweet sriracha sauce and I thought it went well with the fries. Hubby had a ranch dip and he was very pleased with the flavor. We tried the flavored green tea with blueberry. It was a very nice change of the usual choices of sodas or plain tea with lemon. All in all it was a very good dining experience. I loved the menu choices, the drink station and hand washing station. The service was good, they were pleasant and answered our questions with patience because we were newbies. Our food was brought out promptly - hot food was hot and my salad was nice and chilled but my tenders warm. We will definitely go back and try some other locations closer to us. Great chicken chain on par with Chick fil that uses hormone free chicken. Their spicy chicken sandwich was great with a handbreaded, golden brown crust with spices in the breading ae well as a spicy, made-fresh-in-store sauce to top it off. The moist and tender chicken looked and tasted like real chicken breast and not some pounded or pressed chicken pieces that only slightly resembles chicken. The sandwich was on a nicely grilled bun and topped with butter leaf lettuce and a couple of pickle slices. Their hand-cut waffle fries were nicely fried and simply seasoned. The only negative would be that the size of sandwich is a tad small. I was apartment hunting with my Daughter and her boyfriend. First time at a PDQ. Eric Lavigne helped us out on deciding what to order. We got chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich. I kept coming for the convenience and the hope for fresh food, and am continuously disappointed. I've had the food at ppd fresh And there's a huge difference. We went through the drive thru on Saturday 7/30 around 6:45pm. For the first time ever, I encountered someone rude taking orders here. She didn't even look at us one time and was very short with us. When we got to the window, again another rude person! Seriously a first for me. She handed us the wrong drink and when I told her she huffed and rolled her eyes and gave us the right drink. When we got where we we're going, we opened the bag and found an unsealed salad dressing that was spilled all over everything and 2 salads with no forks that we couldn't even eat. My wife and I love coming here on Sunday's after church. It's never crowded and we're always able to find a table. The food quality is really really consistent at this location. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with any of the food items that I've ordered. The inside of the store is nice and clean, and the handwashing station is a really nice treat (I love the lavender soap). The staff is really friendly and they will strongly insist on bringing you your food. Some people may find that off-putting, but I really like it because it makes me feel like my business is valued. Additionally, on Sunday's it's "Sunday Funday" and last Sunday there was a gentleman (Morgan) walking around making balloon animals for the kids (and kids at heart). Ordered a lunch for my office staff. Ordered through uber eats. The chicken sandwiches were good but cold. The fries , I ordered 4 fries for like$8 , they were all soggy and cold oil dripping from them so bad just threw them out. I guess the worst was the fact they didn't include any condiments at all not even one thing of ketchup. Really!! All the times I've been here, they are consistently good. The food is hot and fresh and they do seasonal items too. The newest sandwich, the hot hot honey butter with hot jalapeno fries is a mixed bag. I know it's trying go up against Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich but I have to say Popeyes wins on the spicy sandwich. The hot hot honey butter is way too sweet and while there is a slight lingering spiciness because of the jalapeno it is overpowered by the honey. It's the same with the fries, not sure why the fries had to be slightly sweet. Neither of them are that spicy, if they cut back on the honey it would have been ok. read more

PDQ is hands down the pinnacle of fast food... I only eat at PDQ if there's one nearby, I travel also and look up PDQ's in the city I'm going to...I will even go outta my way to go to a PDQ. All their food is fresh, not frozen , non GMO (big deal for me) and all of the beverages including the fountain drinks are made with filtered water and the taste confirms it (a very big deal for me) . You will find the staff very diverse and they could not be friendlier... and if you're a regular as am I, they quickly learn your name and greet you by name when you walk in the door... the food can't get any better for fast food, and NO other place comes close to the quality of the food, the friendliness of the staff... if you haven't tried PDQ, you're cheating yourself out of a truly wonderful experience. read more

I had an opportunity to visit this PDQ a couple days before the grand opening during a test run for the staff. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, and we received our food quickly despite being moderately busy. I ordered the Cali chicken club sandwich, which comes with avocado, bacon, and ranch. It was delicious. Since I came with a group, we ordered different sides to try them out. I really enjoyed the blueberry coleslaw. It was fresh, unique, and flavorful. The fries were good, nothing special about them. The zucchini fries were very interesting. I did not personally care for them, but the people I was eating with loved them and would return just for those. I was, also, told the buffalo chicken sandwich was very good.
