PDQ is hands down the pinnacle of fast food... I only eat at PDQ if there's one nearby, I travel also and look up PDQ's in the city I'm going to...I will even go outta my way to go to a PDQ. All their food is fresh, not frozen , non GMO (big deal for me) and all of the beverages including the fountain drinks are made with filtered water and the taste confirms it (a very big deal for me) . You will find the staff very diverse and they could not be friendlier... and if you're a regular as am I, they quickly learn your name and greet you by name when you walk in the door... the food can't get any better for fast food, and NO other place comes close to the quality of the food, the friendliness of the staff... if you haven't tried PDQ, you're cheating yourself out of a truly wonderful experience. read more

I thought the experience overall was mixed. They might be having some staffing issues at this location since it is rather new. Food wise it is ok. I think I would do the crispy breaded chicken sandwich next time over the Cali Club version which was a little bland. The zucchini fries were good (once we added salt) but I think they could have been crispier - a little soggy. Carabas has this down right. The ice was not working on one of the drink ice machines - not good on a busy Saturday but stuff happens. Update. Went back again. This time I enjoyed the food and experience better. what a great and underrated joint. a lot of people would prefer chick fil a but this definitely takes the cake. beautiful ambiance, everything was so clean, lighting was perfect. but most importantly the food was INSANELY FRESH. food was crispy, tender and juicy. salad was green, no brown spots, so fresh and so amazing. the creamy garlic sauce was the absolute best sauce ever. read more

PDQ has some vegetarian options on their menu and I'm sure you could make one of their bowls vegetarian by skipping out on the chicken. I wasn't a fan of their broccoli or their tater tots and queso. Yuck. The tater tots had 0 potato inside and the queso tasted worse than jarred queso. Pretty disappointed since the girl spoke highly of them both. The fries were really good though. My friends that do eat chicken enjoy their tenders and chicken sandwiches. It's a friendly family place to go for sure. I don't have much else to say about PDQ. To start we have never had a bad experience at a PDQ but we really feel that this certain experience through the drive through was worth mentioning about how impressed we were by the employees working there tonight. The grilled tenders are great and the zucchini fries are a nice healthy alternative to regular fries. Be sure to salt them though, not much flavor and they can be a little greasy. The oreo shake was delicious also! read more

Love the food, not the issue here. Tonight is Super bowl Sunday, which I personally do not watch. My family went into this location, which clearly states they are open until 10 pm every single day. When my family walked in, they were told the restaurant is closed for the super bowl at 8:20 ish. Keep in mind, they walked INSIDE the restaurant, but they claimed to be closed since 8 pm. If the door says open till 10 pm, you should stay open till 10 pm. If you are closed, LOCK THE DOOR and put up a sign. I find this very unprofessional. I understand business is probably dead, but you should not close two hours early as there are customers that will still stop by. All I wanted was a nugget meal tonight. If I want one on Valentine's Day night, will you close two hours early then too? read more

This PDQ is great! They just opened this one on Park Blvd. Very clean, their staff is pleasant, and the chicken is delicious. I'm usually not a fast food person but I would choose PDQ over all other fast food joints (yes, even Chik Fil A). I usually go for their 3 piece grilled chicken tender meal. The sauces are ok...I tried the creamy garlic (couldn't taste any garlic) and the sweet sriracha (barely could taste the spice). I ended up eating my meal with ketchup. Nevertheless their food is good quality. Will definitely be back if I need a quick meal. read more

I disagree with all the other reviews there is nothing special about this place at all. Upgraded fast food is what I call this. At times my bag is so greasy it is no better than Burger King. For being a chain linked in with Outback I was extremely disappointed. My coworkers enjoy it and I must admit I do enjoy the apple slices with the dipping sauce but again McDonald's serves apples I do not see the obsession with this place. Zucchini Fries are great if made fresh and not soaked in the grease for too long! Great quality food. I had the 3 piece grilled chicken tenders which were extremely small. The sauces were excellent in flavor. The blueberry coleslaw was adequate, too much mayonnaise for my liking and could use a touch more tang and spice. The service was excellent. read more

My new favorite fast casual place. I used to go to Chic-fil-a a lot but now its PDQ. Fried Chicken sandwiches are top notch(light not too thick or heavy with oil breading) premium chicken, zucchini fries(OMG) and Strawberry Shakes(real) makes this place awesome. The interior decor and seating is very nice. They have small tables or big round booths to accommodate every size party. Love it. read more

I've been on a diet lately, and PDQ did its best to help at lunch yesterday. But not in a good way. I ordered their classic chicken salad and grabbed an unsweetened tea for good measure. A few bites in, I had that unmistakable holy cow there's a hair in my food experience you never want to have. A REALLY long black hair. I yanked it out of my mouth and braved on. Holy cow moment number two. Another LONG black hair. Stood up and headed to the counter to speak to the manager and get a refund. There, preparing food was a young girl with LONG black hair preparing food. No hairnet. It was lunchtime so I quietly asked for my money back. His response? He didn't seem to be surprised. No apology. I was told, no receipt, no refund. I had thrown it in the trash on my way to get my drink. So now I own two free meal tickets for future visits to PDQ. I think I'll pass. It takes a lot for me to give a one star review. However the employee with no hairnet and the manager's mishandling of the situation warrants it. read more

I first did like the food. The tenders are great! Unfortunately the chicken sandwich is awful. I have had I come out a number of times hard and rubbery. I had no idea what would cause this. I called and the manager said if they do not pound and flatten the chicken it will turn out rubbery because it's too thick to deep fry. After this happening more than twice even once I went thru once and then they made another and it was still bad. I'm unsure how they can miss such a huge detail every time. I will still buy tenders but will never buy the chicken sandwich again. It's too hot or miss and annoying to have to call or return it. read more
