V9 Eats is a converted gas station with colorful paint work inside and out. With the good use of ceiling fans, dehumidifier, and a couple of overworked AC vents they barely managed to keep the inside more comfortable than the outside. The food is good. The fries are crisp. The burgers are tasty. Sautéed mushrooms and onions are truly sautéed and a lemonade is homemade. Burger fries and a drink total $21. Just a little bit overpriced. I had a Swiss mushroom burger, and my wing man Gary had the Smashburger. Both were better than average. Crayons, colored chalks, and a walk in Fridge to post artwork on make it a fun place to bring the kids and grandkids.

I stopped in here and it was a very bright cute place and very Florida. It was an old gas station converted into a restaurant. I ordered a steak breakfast burrito and it was delicious. There was an upcharge for onions and peppers but worth it. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I do wish that they served breakfast later than 11:30 for us lazy risers. Will definitely be heading back.

A great little spot! Unique menu but something for everyone. Food was extremely flavorful! When ordering the smash burger it was recommended double patty, so that's exactly what I did! Super friendly staff. Dining available both inside and out. Will most definitely return!

Had a delicious lunch with my man at V9 EATS today! We the Schnitzel sandwich had a super soft bun with homemade pickles and pickled onions. The Loaded Tater Tots were the bomb! Served with homemade chili, bacon, cheese, onions, and jalapeños, we dipped it in their homemade ranch which was amazing! The Chicken Wings were perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Everything was delicious!!

To start things off, I've been driving by this place for the past (3) years and not really gave it much thought...then I got on YELP and read the reviews, I need to try this place out. Out for a Saturday afternoon drive and was thinking of a place to go. Drove past several roadside BBQ vendors but just not what I wanted although I will give those a try one day. Then I said to my self, "Self, lets go to V9 and get a burger". And I was on my way. Pulled in the rear parking area and took a look around, was not expecting what I was about see inside. Entered threw the 58th street side door and wow, first time here, it's got the atmosphere for sure. And plenty of seating. Ordered the Angus Smash Burger with cheese and fries...Sprite to drink. Friendly fast service...not a long wait and my burger arrived. Put together correct too. Lettuce on the bottom to keep the bun from getting soggy. (See my review on PeppaJaks). If I have to compare the burger to a chain it would have to be Culvers. However the fries are better, perhaps one the best I have had. This place is just few short blocks from my house and now my go to place for a burger and atmosphere. Looking forward to trying the steak and cheese. Don't drive by this place again without giving it a try, you won't regret it. Peace.

A quirky repurposed gas station and garage. Everyone was so happy with their choices. Jerk chicken was moist and tater tots were crispy. Po Boy- perfectly cooked shrimp and the sauce was different. Fried okra nice and crispy. We had a few visits from the owner and he talked me into trying a sauce, it was awesome. Waitress didn't stifle, very sweet. Eclectic decoration and those old bay doors were fun.

This is definitely a place to come with at least four people so you can try a bunch of dishes…read more I would honestly be sad to come here just as a couple because then you don't get to try as many of the amazing dishes Elliott Astor has to offer. We started with the pull apart Bread that is absolutely a must get and delicious. The one thing is, it is quite large, so it is a good size for 4 to 5 people, it would be a bit overwhelming for only two hence why I say come with a group. We also got the chopped salad, which I thought was good, but not great. People rave about the Caesar salad, which last time I found to be just OK, but I would probably get the Caesar over the chopped. That's a personal preference. Then we got the vodka pasta and the black truffle gnocchi. The vodka pasta, again, is an absolute must get. I love Housemade pasta, and this one is cooked perfectly. The vodka sauce isn't spicy, and I hate spice. So this is one of my favorite dishes. I didn't like the gnocchi. I found it to be too cheesy and not pillowy enough. I appreciate the black truffles, but this is one that I would skip in the future. Then we got the dry aged prime strip, with broccolini, Yukon, mashed potato, and mushrooms. The mushrooms are still, my absolute favorite, I would absolutely get it every time. Yukon potatoes were delicious, but I could feel my arteries clogging while I ate it. It was so creamy and so buttery. The broccoli was good, but not something that I feel like I have to get. The steak was amazing. We got it medium rare, and I felt like it was cooked perfectly. I loved it. For dessert I got the amaretto cookie gelato. If you don't eat pork, all the desserts other than gelato and sorbet have a pork stabilizer in it, which is disappointing. The gelato was quite good though. For my drink, I got the Mezcal margarita I had last time. It is no longer in the menu. It was just OK this time, it would've been better with the salt rim, but it came without one. Next time I'll try another drink on their menu. Valet is $15 which is great because I've come here for the spa and parking is much more expensive if you're not going to Elliot Asher. This restaurant is beautiful and service is superb. Dinner will take a couple hours and Reservations do fill up so you should book them early. I would definitely recommend coming to eat here if you're looking for a nice night out.

Then you see the bar... dimly lit, and stretching all the way to the ceiling. Absolutely breathtaking. There were eleven of us girls dressed in black celebrating a birthday, and we started the night at the bar with drinks and photos before dinner. The staff sat us at the perfect long table, and Andrew and Brian took amazing care of us all evening. We shared the Focaccia Pull Apart -- warm, slightly sweet, cheesy, and honestly addictive. The Burrata with peaches, pickled mustard seeds, and pistachio was bright and fresh, and the beef tartare was another favorite. For dinner, I had the scallops, which were huge and roasted perfectly with citrus, cauliflower, and brown butter. Some of the girls shared the Radiatore alla Vodka, and that sauce was chef's kiss -- flavorful and so satisfying. But let me tell you... The Parmesan Fries with Black Truffle Aioli? I'm going back JUST for those. Cocktails were on point -- the girls loved the Elliott Aster Martini with its citrus kiss, and I had the mezcal espresso martini and the Summer Haze. Both were delicious. Beautiful place, amazing food, incredible night.

There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more. Overall, The Library delivers a memorable experience, amazing ambiance, a beautiful setting, attentive service, and excellent food. Next time I'm trying breakfast.

The restaurant is uniquely decorated with floor-to-ceiling books and those old-world aristocratic portraits that make you feel like you've stepped into a quaint literary hideaway. We were seated in a cozy corner with high-backed cushioned chairs that felt like our own little private nook. Perfect for a special occasion that's kind of low key. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the noise level was surprisingly low, which we really appreciated. It made it easy to relax and enjoy our time without feeling overwhelmed. Service was also great - attentive, friendly, and well-paced despite the crowd. Now, the menu... it was honestly hard to choose because so many items sounded amazing. We ended up ordering the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the warmed Burrata to start. The Brussels Sprouts were flavorful and enjoyable, though I personally would have loved just a bit more char on them for that extra depth. The burrata, on the other hand, was packed with flavor - especially if you're a fan of sun-dried tomatoes, this is definitely a must-try. The drinks were a standout, my lychee martini was light, smooth, and refreshing, while my husband's old fashioned was bold and perfectly crafted. He is quite the stickler for a good old fashioned. For our mains, my husband kept it classic with a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which he really enjoyed. It had that delicious smash burger style that hits the spot. I ordered the Chicken Paillard, and it was absolutely delicious--light, fresh, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and agreed that we'd definitely come back. There were still so many dishes we were tempted to try, and that's always a great sign. The Library is a unique and memorable spot that's perfect for brunch, date nights, or any special occasion. Give it a try!

Please hire a chef for a couple of days to teach everybody how to cook. It's not that hard. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. Cute little local shop with mostly outside covered seating and a couple inside two seaters. This is an order at the counter restaurant near treasure island/madeira beach. Great flavor but where is the pork? The meats were limited and the most important one very scarce. They also want $11 for just the sandwich. Was it the worst I've had? No. Was it authentic? Yes. Would i recommend this Cuban sandwich? Sadly, no. If it were half that price and you just wanted a cubano I would say yes. But if you are looking for a truly good cuban sandwich because you've never had one or are craving one, I would not send you here. Decent. But not great. Price too high especially for the lack of meat. For that I give 3 stars
