Great hot dogs, funky vibe, parking might be a challenge if it gets too crowded. Indoor and outdoor seating. We were there around 12:30 PM and wasn't too crowded. 2 hotdogs, French fries, and an IBC root beer for under 20 bucks. My new "go to" for hot dogs. read more

It was so good to see V9 busy we put our order in and came back for it because they were backed up, but it was worth waiting for there were 4 of us That ordered the Swiss burger. Had driven by this place for a few years so today was the day to stop and try it out. It's funny how one bad thing can pretty much ruin your meal but restaurant owners should be aware of that fact. Had a couple of burgers and some fried okra and there sweet potato fries. The burgers and the okra were pretty good but the sweet potato fries came out smelling burnt, looking burnt and tasting burnt, absolutely disgusting! Could of said something but instead decided to leave the fries and just never to return. McDonalds would of been better and probably would of been about half the cost. I guess also pets are allowed in the dining area because there was a couple with a pair of fairly large Husky laying in the exit way they didn't bother me but my wife would not walk by them till the dogs owner moved them. read more

Do not pass this up!! It is a very inconspicuous building on the corner and you could pass it up, but don't!! The food is incredible!! Fresh and fast and the service is incredible! I got the hot turkey sandwich served on a pretzel roll, with a side of Mac-n-cheese! It was perfect! Fresh turkey with delicious seasoning . I also ordered the butter chicken which is served on top on pasta! The sauce was spicy and full of flavor and the chicken was grilled perfectly What a cool idea serving it over pasta! This neighborhood place is super cute, it's bright and cheerful, and it was nice to see a business take over what looks like it was an old gas station. (it's been an empty dry cleaner since we moved to the area. We can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was polite, cheerful, and attentive. During our lunch, a woman who had been prepping in the back came through to check in, and we saw them taking water and a bowl outside for someone with a dog. They had paper menus and QR codes on the counter where you order your food. The menu is smallish, but from what we've heard from neighbors, they add and change things quite a bit. My husband ordered the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. It was a good-sized well-seasoned Chicken Breast with a nice bite to it; the way Jerk Chicken should. It was served on a Bun with a Mandarin Slaw and a side of Tots. The Slaw was perfect for cooling the heat with something cool and a little sweet. There were plenty of Tots, and they were perfectly crisp. I went with a Chili Dog with Onions and Cheese. The Hot Dog was a Hot Dog; it was okay. But, the Chili really made the Dog - it wasn't spicy, but it was meaty and packed with flavor. The other thing that I loved was that they put the Cheese and Onions on first and then the Chili over it! It kept the Cheese and Onions from tumbling off, and the heat meted the Cheese a bit. I also go a side of the Tots, and to be completely honest, I would go back repeatedly just for the crunchy Tots! We also both had some Hibiscus Tea, which was light and naturally sweet. We were visiting my daughter who lives in St. Pete and she recommended V9 Eats for Lunch. It used to be a food truck business but now resides in an old gas station. They still cook in the food truck! So we called them and ordered on the phone. Dave and my son in law went to pick it up. Everything was delicious and fresh and packed in styrofoam containers. I had the split pea soup with ham and it was enough to share with my daughter. My entree was a home made chicken salad stuffed tomato with some chopped green lettuce and onions. It was delicious and plentiful. Dave had the butter curry chicken over basmati rice with naan bread. Presented beautifully and absolutely delish! The rest of the family had breakfast burritos, stuffed with bacon, eggs cheese and some veggies. All extra fresh and very good! We love the convenience of takeout because my grandchildren are very young. We are so happy to support this neighborhood business! read more

We popped in to check out V9 one evening. The owners have made it super cute. The main restaurant is stationary and they cook in a food truck in the back. We had the cheesesteak and butter chicken. The food was good and you could tell they care about quality. The staff was SO friendly. I had no idea what I wanted and they gave great suggestions. They also made sure our glasses were empty and if we needed anything else. We also had the homemade cookies and cream ice cream. Next time I would try a different flavor, but I would go back for food! read more

V9 has been on my list to visit, and I'm glad I finally did. The staff are friendly, and the menu has a variety of offerings without being overwhelming. There are picnic tables inside and outside, as well as high top tables inside. I placed a to-go order for the smash burger with a side of pasta salad. The pasta salad was delicious and a larger portion than you'd get at another restaurant for a side. The smash burger has two patties and comes with cheese (I opted for provolone; Swiss and cheddar were the other options), and it was easily one of the most flavorful burgers I've had in west St Pete in a while. One thing I really liked is that they put the burger in a separate compartment of the to-go order so that the buns don't get soggy by the time you get home! Much appreciated! read more

So this is a review of my 4 trips to this business so far. I work in this area and have only been in for lunch. Each time I've been in I've spoken to the owners who are husband and wife. They are both very friendly and nice to talk to. The menu is small but there are daily specials. This is an order and pay at the counter restaurant and the food is brought out to you. In the times I've been I have had the Roast Beef Sandwich, a Meatball Sub, a Cheesesteak sandwich, and the Shrimp Po Boy. The Roast Beef was really good and is prepared on site and the quality shows! This is the same for the cheesesteak sandwich which I'd wouldn't compare to a Philly Cheesesteak at all but it is still a great sandwich. The meatball sub was great and so was the Shrimp Po Boy. I dug right in and failed to take a picture of it. I will say the Shrimp was fried to perfection. On my last two visits I also had the homemade chocolate chip cookies that were prepared by the female owner. I really loved these and will definitely be getting them again. All in all this place has always been clean, the food is delicious, and everyone here has been very friendly. I'd come back just to talk with the owners because they are such nice people. The food is a bonus. If you are thinking of going I'd definitely recommend giving this little neighborhood spot a try. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time but couldn't get there before due to its early closing time of 7PM. I wasn't sure what to expect. It's one of those places where you feel like they expect you to know the routine on your first visit. (Think Seinfeld's Soup Nazi). I had the wings with a sweet chili sauce. I love V9. I generally get the veggie breakfast burrito and a whipped coffee. Both are just absolutely delicious! It is not located in my neighborhood but it is worth the drive. The breakfast burrito has a great combination of eggs, hash browns and veggies for a flavorful breakfast delight. And it is huge. I end up taking part of it home for the next day, which gives me a second day of happiness. The whipped coffee is also unique and sinfully delicious. V9 doesn't open until 10:30 am so check the website before going but go! It will make you happy. They have an extensive menu with lots of options. I haven't been able to keep myself from getting that veggie burrito. The staff here is also incredible. They are efficient, attentive and too notch. read more

Their smash burgers were not very smash-esque. Just google the difference between a smash burger and a regular burger. These were just some normal burgers that tasted like they were bought in bulk at the cheapest rate and freezer burnt. The taste was covered up by an overly generous amount of salt and pepper which didn't help one bet. This was my first time here and what made it disappointing was that everything looks so good, until you eat it. Tots were pretty okay, nicely crisped, but that's about it. I did look at the pictures and saw one picture specifically showing fresh burger patties. Seems like an intentional picture, because I don't believe it. Anyways I would have given it 2 stars had I not had a jacked-up stomach the following 24 hours. I think my experience was different from most other people's just based on the reviews. So I wouldn't read into this too heavily unless other people report the same stuff. I just can't recommend it based on my experience. read more

The lady at the check out counter is very rude. My first visit in April i was ordering my food, i guess i was ordering too qickly so she put her finger up as if for me to hold on. My second visit today 06/04/24 I ordered a kids meal for my niece who was at home waiting to be fed.
