We had such high hopes, but everything was below mid. It's cheap dark meat, fatty cuts that are expensive and not tasty. My hubby says that Jollibee is "Glorified Gas Station Chicken." We were so excited but after spending over $50 on 5 pieces of chicken, a yum burger, side spaghetti, palabok, fries and a coconut icy.... We felt it was pretty pricy for 2 adults and 2 kids. The service, was fast food centric and of course they messed up the order and forgot the icy. Oh well. My chicken was passable (I got spicy) but the regular chicken was gross and the guys refused to finish it. The yum burger tastes ultra processed (but still a step up from Whitecastle), the spaghetti was interesting with a banana sweetened ketchup sauce overtop that was slightly unique. The palabok was the most interesting, but somehow also tasted fast foodish and not "fresh". Jollibee's must taste better in other countries? This location is PACKED. It's my second time visiting and the food hits every single time. The fried chicken bucket and the spaghetti is an elite combo. I highly recommend ordering online ahead of time so that you are not waiting in the gigantic line inside. This place was PACKED and the crowd just kept coming. Based on the amount of traffic they get here they honestly need a bigger dining area. We were lucky enough to get a table. Despite the volume the staff maintains their cool and gets the food out quick. Hubs ordered the Jolly Spaghetti and I got the 3 pc tender meal with mashed potatoes however he rang me up as the combo so I didn't get the pie that was supposed to come with my food. Hubs did get an extra one for himself so he let me taste it and it was pretty tasty. Hubs thought the spaghetti was ok and the tenders weren't anything to rave about but they were tender and I liked that the breading was relatively light and didn't come off when you bit into it. Jollibee is like McDonald's in the Philippines in terms of fast food. So, don't be surprised if you see mostly Filipinos in Jollibee. They are incredibly loyal to the brand. The downside is that the US version doesn't offer burgers or their famous dessert called a halo-halo. They initially provided them but stopped after the first couple of years. If you've been to the Phils, you'll realize that Jollibee has several good burgers, but again, the US version said, "We're not serving burgers or halo-halo." Also, Jolly Spaghetti tastes too sweet and is more like ketchup packets served over noodles. I'm Italian and had better and cheaper spaghetti from Chef Boyardee, but this is the version that Filipinos are used to eating. Two items that Jollibee US offers are exceptionally well done. They offer a chicken sandwich that is good enough to compete with Zaxby's, Chick-fil-A, Guthrie's Chicken, and Raising Canes. They also have fried chicken that can compete with Lee's, Popeye's, and KFC. They're infatuated with gravy to dip their chicken in and cover their mashed potatoes or rice. It's tasty, too. Lastly, do not pass up their peach mango pies. They remind me of McDonald's pies from the 1980s--1990s. If you recall, McDonald's offered cherry and apple pies. read more

The only thing this Jollibee needs work on is their wait times. Other than that, the chicken ALWAYS hits. It's always fresh and piping hot which could totally contribute to the long wait times. If this is your first time trying Jollibee, I recommend trying a chicken joy, a peach-mango pie (only if you like peach and/or mango, obviously), the pineapple quencher, and a chicken sandwich. If you haven't ever had Filipino-style spaghetti (sweet), and don't like your spaghetti sweet, then the Jolly spaghetti is not for you. I've seen too many people order it and then complain that it was sweet but that's literally the way its made. Overall, the food is great. Just recommend having some patience when you visit. Came here after going to Red Ribbon Bakery next door. Talk about a Filipino food feast. This was it. I came here actually for noodles not chicken. Weird right. Palabok fiesta are Filipino noodles which they do also have at Red Ribbon, but I wanted to try it here this time because I also wanted a Pineapple Quencher and a mango peach pie too. See, I have good reason. I took them home for the next day! Since we were here, my hubby wanted a chicken sandwich, so I ordered the aloha chicken sandwich for him. It had pineapple, cheese, and bacon with it, and a special sauce, kinda like a tasty sweet and sour or polynesian sauce(Chic Fil A). It was super good and crispy. The only draw back was the thin bun that kind of broke apart, but crispy and tasty this sandwich was for sure. We tried Chicken Guy the night before, & this surely was better in my opinion. Our service was efficient. Took my order, gave me my drink and buzzer. The first times we had been here, it was a zoo. This time we got a booth and sat comfortably and all was well. I've been wanting to get to Jollibee for years but the closest one is in Chicago. A trip to Florida finally gave us the chance! The place is super clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food delicious. It's everything you want a fast food restaurant to be and is the only one I'll ever make a return trip to. We got the Palakbok Fiesta, a 2 piece Chickenjoy meal, and (of course) an extra Ube hand pie. The Palakbok was really interesting. I love glass noodles and it's a great change of pace from most US places like this. The curry was pretty one-note with a bright garlic flavor. The peanuts add a nice crunch. Solid and I'd get it again. The chicken was fantastic. Crispy, moist, and flavorful. Everything you could want from fast-food chicken. The biscuit and gravy are pretty standard and super salty. The ube hand pie is the star of the show. You should just but 10 of them and freeze some. Warm, gooey, crispy crust, and not-to-sweet filling. 10/10 would eat too much again. read more

I lived in LA for several years and somehow never made my way to Jollibee. Not sure how? The mascot alone would draw me in. I guess it took a move to Florida to finally journey to Jollibee. The location we went to was crazy busy. Like there were 20 people in line pretty much the whole time we were there. The decor is cute enough but nothing stellar. The best part was a the gentleman who was there cleaning tables as soon as someone left. He didn't use some nasty rag on every table either. He used a fresh clean wipe for every table. I have not felt such sanitation from a fast food joint basically ever. The chicken was really crisp and the spicy and regular were both good. The spaghetti was sweet and savory with a little tang. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. It looked good. The bun had an off taste and wasn't fresh. It was crispy and I liked it had fresh Jalepeno on it but the chicken itself had a weird texture. I didn't think we had much to lose for trying. That's where I was wrong $40 later the three of us left not finishing our food and still hungry. We are huge fans of Jollibee where I'm from in California. My partner in crime hasn't had Jollibee in a while, so I did a search and found this location 45 minutes away from the hotel we were staying at in Clearwater Beach. Needless to say, she was happy. We got the 6 spicy pieces + 2 sides meal. The sides we choose were the can't fail mashed potatoes and fries. My lovely partner wanted to try the spaghetti and the palabok. She also ordered an Ube Pie. All the food came out pretty quickly, and we took out to go order and went back to our hotel. The spicy chicken pieces were still crispy and had a nice spice to it, but it appears they subbed out on of the thighs for two drumstick. Not a huge deal but shouldn't they at least ask us? Oh course the chicken is served with a side of gravy for dipping. Now to the spaghetti and Palabok... if you have never had Jollibee's spaghetti before you would be a bit surprised to how sweet it is and that there are slices of hot dogs in there. The Palabok was way overpowering with the garlic. The flavor and smell was so strong, I don't think I was able to smell anything else for a bit. We were not a fan of either. The Ube pie was pretty good given what it is. Just imagine a McDonalds pie but with Ube filling and that's their Ube pie. I love Jollibee, but this location needs help! When we got there, the line reached to the entrance and curved around otherwise it would've been out the door. After waiting for 10 minutes and not moving, I placed an order on the mobile app thinking it would be faster. The app said the food would be ready in about 15 minutes and even gave me a notification that my food was ready. I waited by the side of the counter. The employee who was calling out the orders said that the app just says that the food is ready automatically in 15 min but that it would probably be another 15 min before my food was ready. What?! I ended up waiting 30 minutes after the time quoted by the app, so 45 min total. The staff was extremely nice but it seemed like there were a lot of employees and everyone was just running around rather than sticking to one task, which seemed inefficient. I would've rather just been given an honest wait time from the beginning so I knew what to expect. The last 5 minutes they told me my order just needed to be bagged up, but took awhile for someone to just do that. The food was delicious as always, and even traveled well on my flight back to Atlanta. I always stick to the 2 piece chicken joy with jolly spaghetti combo and it did not miss! Took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. Good thing we got there when we did because we grabbed the only table available. I ordered 2 piece chicken with palabok and a drink. Wife ordered 2 piece chicken with Adobe rice as her side. She also got a guava drink. Well the food was worth the wait! The fried chicken is some of the best ive ever had. Crispy and moist with fantastic flavor. I got the spicy and it wasn't too spicy just perfect. Ive never had palabok and it was good. Its a rice noodle dish with a savory sauce and small chunks of meat. They give you gravy with every meal. I think its for the chicken. We put that stuff on everything. Its a brown gravy but has a different taste to it than normal gravy. It was delicious. Next time ill get a bigger gravy because it was so good. We got 2 ube pies. Its like a McDonald's pie but filled with a purple creamy sauce. Its made from purple yams. Very delicious and a must try. Next time im getting the mango peach. I am sitting here at the table already planing my next visit touted other things. All the people working were very nice. I've been wanting to try Jolibee chicken. We don't have one in our town, but since we were in this area and there was a Jolibee, I was so excited that I would get to try it. The drive thru was closed so we went inside. I'm not sure how long they have been opened at this location since we were traveling and stumbled upon it, but the inside was definitely packed. I tried the spicy chicken, and it wasn't spicy at all. There was really no flavor to the chicken. No flavor at all. The chicken was fried perfectly. It was nice and crispy, but not dry. It wasn't bad even though it was bland. I just dipped it into the gravy that the chicken came with. I also tried their Palabok Fiesta. This was my very first time ever trying Palabok and I loved it! It was so yummy! Now I wish we had a place here just so I can order some Palabok. I wished I would've had gotten it with extra Palabok sauce, though. I know for next time, I'll have to order an extra sauce. I also tried their spicy chicken sandwich. It also has no spicy to it. It wasn't bad, though. My sister and I each got one of the anniversary combos which came with 1 pc of chicken, spaghetti, a drink, and a pie. They were out of regular chicken and it was going to take 20 mins for the next batch so we substituted a piece of spicy chicken for one combo and a regular tender for the other - the staff was super friendly and nice and really helped us with our order which I appreciated. But I just wasn't a fan of the chicken. The spicy thigh did have some heat to it but it also barely had any meat and the tender was heavily breaded so all in all not great, especially for the price. The spaghetti was pretty tasty but probably not something I'd order regularly or on its own. I did like the mango pineapple quencher though. read more

So so excited to find a Jollibee in Tampa! The only one we knew of is the one in Jacksonville but after finding this place we found out there's one in Orlando now too! Happened to drive by and had to return the next day! Price is a little higher than most typical fried chicken places. Ordered on the app and was able to find a promo code. Spent $80 on 20 pieces of spicy chicken, 3 sides, 3 pies, and an aloha burger combo. Spicy chicken is the way to go! Dipped in gravy with rice. Yum.. Peach mango pies are also a treat. Tried the pineapple coconut pie, and it left a lot to be desired. Got the aloha burger to try. It was different. Felt it would've been better with better quality beef patties. The patties tasted like something I'd get from the processed dinner section of the freezer isle. Other than that we will always go back for the spicy chicken. Service is also always amazing. This review is for the drive through service and food only. While visiting family we heard that there was a Jollibee restaurant that had opened - so we decided to give it a try. When we got there we noticed the place was jam packed. After a short discussion we decided to go through their drive through and get our food to go. After waiting in a long line we placed our order with some difficulty because their intercom was horrible. Lots of static so we had to repeat ourselves several times. We had to park for just a short time to wait for our food. We ordered a bucket of their famous fried chicken, gravy, some noodle dish that looked good called Palabok and their Mango dessert fried hand pies. The Chicken was good, had a nice crunchy coating and was moist on the inside. However, it was pricey in my opinion for the amount of chicken pieces that we purchased and to tell you in all honesty I thought it was a little bland. None of us were really impressed. The chicken did taste better with their dark and rich gravy. It had a nice deep flavor profile but we agreed we wouldn't order the chicken again. The Palabok noodle dish was the surprise of the day. We all said it was extremely tasty, unusual flavors that really worked well together! Even my hubby who is super picky about Oriental - let alone Oriental fast food loved this dish! He's still talking about it and we all agreed the next we go we each get our own dish instead of sharing it. As for their Mango fried pie - the hype is true!
