As a member, I sometimes get $5 off sent to me on an e-mail, and every time I try using their promo codes, it never works. Today, they have promo code "treat5" for ordering online bucket treats and it's a special promo for independence day. I got Bucket treat A and I couldn't use the promo discount. Total came out to $56.47. That's another thing, why Jollibee chicken is so expensive. Anyway, please don't advertise promo if we can't apply it to our orders. Never knew about Jollibee until a friend from Resonate Church brought some to share with the staff. Wow to my delight, it was so delicious. and everyone said they are the best!! Horrible service every time I go here. I usually go here when I'm craving Jollibee because it's the nearest one where I live, but I'm probably going to go somewhere else next time. Every time I order to go, they always forget to put either the fries or drinks I order. I had my husband pick up a spaghetti plate, a burger steak plate and a quencher to go. Once again, they forgot the quencher. So my husband turned around before leaving the restaurant and asked for it. The server looked at him like it was his fault he forgot. I didn't have to wait too long tho, they made that line move fast. When I got to the counter, the cashier took my order without issues--I waited about 10-15 minutes for my food. I got the three pieces of spicy chicken joy with two sides. The chicken, like always, was fried to perfection. It was crispy and delicious! My sides were fries and steamed rice. Those were both ok, nothing too special. I added gravy to my order (for free), which took the chicken to a different level. The place is in a large building, but Jollibee itself is spacious. So AyalaLand lease this huge space with supporting restaurants and a shop, a Valerio's Bakeshop located at the other end of Hesperian Blvd. Their kitchen is huge, and the staff works like a bee (hard working, very calm and doing their best to serve ChickenJoy and other staples. Now they have ube pie as part of their menu. They serve cold frozen drinks like the coffee cold brew with bubble pearls, strawberry freeze and a coconut dream freeze. The dining area is tiny and can only seat 10 families with lounge chairs, several lounge seating with tables, and a window table with tall stools. A lot of orders are for here, to-go and online delivery. They are very organized but very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Ambiance is very clean, organized and staff are calm - 5/5. Menu is standard Jollibee and price points are standard in the SF Bay Area (same as the one in Union City at Union Landing). Food are all cooked fresh and love to have 1 spicy and 1 regular ChickenJoy in my meal. I think they changed the formula here. It's almost like they used a spicy cayenne pepper or siling labuyo extract in the oil. The chicken is deep red sprayed on their spicy chickenjoy versus a spicy sparkle they served before 2023. This Jollibee is located inside the Seafood City in Hayward, right across from the Red Ribbon. We got some spaghetti and some Chickenjoy along with pineapple juice for each of us. The chicken always pairs so well with the gravy. The spaghetti is just the right flavor and after eating so much savory food, you can wash it all down with some delicious pineapple juice. The store is really well decorated, with really aesthetic seating areas as well as cute art pieces on the walls. The staff is really nice and helps you out as best as they can. My sister got this yesterday when my partner and I went to visit them. In the past we had gotten jolly bee and it didn't taste good the stuff had tasted chalky. So I didn't want to eat it again and stopped buying it. That was at another location. I liked jolly bee in the past but I think that one experience turned me off from it. But during the pandemic, I've been driving from San Leandro to pick up dinners. My regular order now is Family Pack C: 10 piece Chicken Joy (6 regular, 4 spicy), Palabok Fiesta Family Pack and 3 peach-mango pies. This is enough food for at least 2 meals for my wife & I. During COVID, there is no indoor dining. Only 6 customers are allowed inside at any time, and there are tents outside for people who have to wait in line. There is plexiglass in between the customer and cashier, and hand sanitizer at the register. All the staff wear masks and require guests to keep to proper social distancing. read more

I don't often go to Jollibee but I know some people who love Jollibee. They were having their 10 for 10 deal, 10 piece of chicken for $10 so I wanted to hop on this chicken train to try it out. I placed the online order and once I arrived at the designated time, it was ready and easy to go. I did place a pick up early in the morning at 10AM so there was no line. This place looks new and newly renovated, it has a clean feel compared to other Jollibee I have been. The seafood city also looks clean and new. When I arrived home, I was excited to try my chicken. It was crispy and delicious. I asked for condiments and it came with gray and ketchup. The gravy reminds me of KFC gravy, so I definitely enjoyed it. I noticed my GPS navigated to the "back" of the store instead of the front. I am not sure why they have such a low rating, I don't think they are THAT bad, I mean its Jollibee?! lol It is not for everyone. The location is great because if Jollibee is not your thing, it is located within a grocery store and other filipino fast food restaurants. Jollibee is the only fast food chain where you can order sweet spaghetti with fried chicken, burgers, fries, breakfast meals with rice and family meals that are quick and reasonably priced. If it is your first time, I would recommend trying their sweet spaghetti and fried chicken. Don't forget the peach mango pies! During these crazy times, they are very particular in making sure the lines are orderly and that people are at least 6 feet apart. Minus the two stars for not delivering.
