Slowest service ever. Waiting for 20 minutes and still haven't gotten it. Fast food? Nah slow food my boy

I was staying in Bakersfield for the weekend and wanted some Jollibee because the one at home closed down. We went there in the evening and there was no line in the drive-thru. We weren't sure if that was a bad sign, but I wanted fried chicken and rice. The lady taking my order was patient and the man at the window was very friendly. We ordered a bucket of chicken with two sides and the peach mango and ube pies. All were hot and delicious. We will be back if we are in town again. read more

I would give a zero star if I could go these lazy people!!!! The other day my wife went in and ordered. She waited for over 30 mins for her food and other people came and gone way faster. Then she goes in today to get food for her moms birthday party. She told them she needed it at 2pm. It's 3:30pm and it's still not ready!!! Seriously!!!!!! We are done coming here you lazy people! Glad to see the old curls building with a booming Resturant in it. But here we go first of all..... strangest menu I have he wrote seem. Friend chicken Spaghetti mango pie hamburgers rice mashed potatoes . Very interesting. The spicy chicken sandwich was good . It was a little dry but the jalapeño was a nice bite. Not much to say here, just an average fast food joint with a filipino twist. Fried chicken and sides are pretty good, but not much different than KFC. The filipino specialty items are not that great and the spaghetti is just weird. It's a very sweet spaghetti sauce with surprisingly good flavor, but the noodles are generic at best. I don't even think they serve the signature filipino Halo-Halo's at this location, so I have no reason to return here after my initial experience. This is a very good tasting food Family Restaurant. Service was great and the pineapple drink to die for . I really loved the menu, the fries was my a-swam favorite. You got to try the Spaghetti and chicken. Top quality service the management even came to costumer's and me and asked if we were okay and how was our orders and food quality. Sorry but this was a HUGE disappointment. We went through the drive thru. We ordered a big meal that came with chicken, mashed taters, fries and pies (we never got the pies) Good fried skin, mashed potatoes were okay, gravy was good, fries were fair, but the chicken itself was very fatty and horrible. Just spent 20 minutes in the drive thru only to get home to realize they screwed up my order. Ordered a bucket of chicken and a burger steak 3 piece and instead of a 3 piece burger steak they gave me a 3 piece chicken. I mean who the hell gonna order a bucket of chicken with a side of chicken? Use your head...Then when I call to tell them off they don't answer the phone!! The chicken is super greasy. The full menu is not on display to view. The employees working there were not knowledgeable on the food they serve. Every question I asked had to be looked up on the register. If you opt for the pineapple drink you get a kids size drink and you can't get refills. Your also not allowed to get a refill on a fountain drink if you opted for the pineapple drink. The employees were not very friendly. I won't go back. read more

Finally tried Jollibee! I waited until now because it was so packed when they first opened. The chickenjoy was juicy and crispy, the gravy and mash potatoes also were very tasty. The adobe rice had a surprisingly great flavor on the first bite but the rest of the rice had no flavor after the initial taste- maybe they need to stir the pot more. The peach mango pie, chef kiss and the ube pie was okay. The pineapple quencher was soo good but a little disappointed there wasnt more drink options like ive seen online at other jollibee. Also no halo halo :( All and all I would go back to try more I want to taste the spicy chicken and the fiesta but im going to let them work out the kinks first. Went to jollibees Bakersfield for the first time, never will I go here. Ordered at 510 and received my food at 540. Half out for my food while my sandwich and spaghetti is getting cold. No ice in the soda machine so got up to the counter while their 8 man crews waiting on everyone's chicken they all look at me once and ignore me. The whole crew are kids seeming like that's their fist job. Don't recommend this location read more

Came back again. I was hungry and I was craving fried chicken. Decided to make a stop at Jollibee for their spicy chicken! I got a three piece meal with two sides which is good enough for my husband and I. Used to Jollibee mobile app to place the order which is quick and efficient. Went inside and let the cashier know I had a mobile order for 3 piece meal. They gave me my meal and the steam from the food was coming out of the bag. Tells me the food is nice, hot and fresh seen another family in there eating inside who weren't Filipino which is really nice cuz I don't see anyone really in there unless they are Filipino. This place isn't bad. Wanted to try a couple of things so my wife and I ordered the combo with fried chicken and spaghetti, the 2-piece burger steak, and got a peach mango pie for dessert. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy as advertised but lacked the seasoning I have come to expect from fried chicken. Seemed like a basic salt and pepper flour dredge. Tasty but needed a little something more. Maybe the spicy version would be more satisfying but at the time they didn't have any. The spaghetti was interesting. I was expecting a sweet sauce as I've heard of Filipino spaghetti but never tried it. The sauce was thick with just a hint of sweetness. It reminds me of the way Spaghetti-Os are slightly sweet. What threw me was the cheese on the pasta. It did not melt in the way normal cheese does. It kinda spreads into a paste. Think spray can cheese cut into bits. The burger steak was a tad salty and you can tell the gravy has a lot of cornstarch in it. But not bad. The star was the peach mango pie. Crispy outer shell like what fried pie crust aspires to be. Biting through the crust leads to a slightly chewy inside and a delightful peach filling with a hint of tropical mango. I'd get these over a fancy donut or cupcake any day. read more

Today we went to try out Jollibee. This place was packed it took about 30 minutes. I was happy to see that a Filipino place was opening so I was anxious to get my food. I ordered 1 of everything to try it out. Started with the pancit one bite and I was done. It was horrible! Tasteless runny noodles. I love adobo rice so that was next it was so bland no adobo flavor at all. The hamburger with gravy was the worst and the chicken was Soo hard that you had to take off the coating to try it! Out of all the items I tried the only thing I could eat was the mango pies. I'm from Delano and have eaten Filipino food all my life. This is not Filipino food. I didn't know what to expect it what I received was very disappointing. The cashier recommended the rice with the chicken so I ordered that and a side of the spaghetti. From what I read I think I was supposed to get some "gravy" with the rice. I got two thighs and a plate of dry rice. The chicken was moist but had no flavor whatsoever as was the case with the rice. The spaghetti was strange and sweet. It was awful. I don't think I have ever thrown away food but I threw this food away. I tried to call them to see if I was supposed to get gravy but they never answered and I hung up after 25 rings. Don't waste your money here. read more

We were here 2 days ago and disappointed. We were in drive thru line for an hour & still needed to park in the corner due to orders are not ready yet & waited for 15 mins. I didn't bother to check the bag, my kids were starving & my husband needed to go work. When we got home we realized we ordered 6 pcs. Peach Mango pie & we don't have it. No gravy for our chicken either. Paid $13 for the pies So we decided to go back and get it. Drove for another 15-20minutes away from SW home.When we arrived the manager/supervisor Angel who gave our orders earlier was there and she said they only got 5 pies and we need to wait for 3-5 mins. for more. I said nope, we waited enough already and I told her just refund my money for the 1 pie that is not available. Anyway they compensate & refunded me $13 + the payment of 2 spaghetti meal for the hassle she says. She doesn't look sincere with her sorry at all. She was in a hurry to get rid of us. The spaghetti is NOT a filipino spaghetti. My kids did not even finished it and had their dog eat the rest. They said "Mom u make better Filipino spaghetti than this one." I was going through the drive-thru and I overheard hire ups being extremely rude to their employees. Making fun of the way employees looked and dress, and the pronouns they go by. And although it was none of my business, all of the employees look overworked and exhausted. It's obvious they don't treat their employees with respect. Such delicious Filipino food!. I was very happy to visit this establishment recently, and I was not disappointed. They have excellent customer service. The employees are super friendly and help me decide on what items to get. The atmosphere was very cool, modern, and very clean. I was very impressed with the large selection of delicious food items. The food and drinks that we ordered, we're very delicious and highly recommended. Definitely will be coming back soon with my family and friends.
