Be aware....this is strictly based on the financial portion of my experience. After my pedicure I went to pay and was informed I would be charged 2% of the total charged to my card or I could use their ATM for a flat $.50 fee. Opted for the ATM option was charged $.50 at the time if the transaction then this morning the is a $2.50 fee charged to my card listed as transaction fee jolie nails. Clearly this is a deceptive practice as I was clearly told it was a flat fee of $.50. Wont go back because of this which is unfortunate because my pedicure was good. read more

Had a 1pm appointment with my friend this passed Sunday. We waited 30 minutes to be seated in chairs 5 & 6 which were dirty and still had the previous customers nail clippings on the dirty towels, while 2 walk ins (1 pedicure & 1 full set of nails) were seated and tended to before us. We waited another 10 mins for the lady who was doing the pedicure to come sit down beside the nail tech that was already waiting and they started on our fills without cleaning said towels or nail clippings. I have a lot of patience but that's disgusting! The time didn't bother me too much but being unsanitary does! My friend was a little miffed which was understandable but she remained friendly and calm. The nail techs were working on our nails for about 10 mins and then my friends tech made her switch seats for some reason. Then about 20 min later I was sat at number 4. Weird but ok. Then we have the quality of work issue. My tech Tammy who was a very sweet girl didn't shape my nails right, she didn't file them short enough and did sloppy polish. All in all I was a not a happy customer and for $30 a fill I would expect much better service. I won't be coming back. read more

If you would like to get burned with steaming hot towels and have them ignore you while you are saying it it too hot and pulling away then definitely come here. I am so unbelievably irritated. My toes still hurt because the towel literally burned me. They have to descriptions on their pedicures so you have no idea what you are getting at all. I told them to use callus remover because my heels are horrible after not getting a pedicure for months. No callus remover was used on my feeI told them no hot stones yet there they are putting hot stones on my feet after burning them. Lovely. THEN i had to remind her that she did not do the paraffin like the upgraded pedicure included (all word of mouth because there are no descriptions, remember). I should not have to tell you what i paid for. I did not get a manicure because after that I was DONE. Do not come here. Bam nails on Antelope is where you need to go. Went home and looked at my nails thoroughly. Toe nails are crooked.. Seems like was not evenly cut.. Cuticles were not cleaned. My nails look bulky. When doing gel nails, the important thing is the finished look. You have to finish off the nails with brushing the colors at the tips to pull the color together. Well, I noticed that he only polished the top and leaving the lonely tips bare. So when it dried, the top is colored but the tip of the nails are my natural nail color. Which makes the job look Unfinished. read more

They are friendly enough but for the price I expect the nails to last at least 2 weeks. My first set only lasted about 5 weeks and the new set that I just got done last week is already coming up. First time back in almost a year. I started coming to list location when they had just changed management. It has been a great feeling to walk in and the technicians know the color schemes that I like the services I usually get done and my name. Even though it had been a while since I've been back due to illness two of the technicians still remembered my name and it was a great feeling. I needed a fill which turned into a brand-new set that I needed because of the horrible job I had done by a shop in Folsom. Gave them a review on yelp which was just serving of my experience and added to it because of today's experience. They were very knowledgeable here as to the prior nail shop using incorrect products which caused permanent damage to my nails until they grow out which is why I needed a brand-new set. She even gave me a discount because she felt bad about how bad and ruined my nails were from the prior shop. She took extensive time it was very delicate to remove the nails and put a new set on with the exact colors that I love. I also got the top-of-the-line luxurious foot spa treatment. This was a 60 minute treatment which included leg scrubs masks warm towels paraffin wax hot stone massage and the usual pedicures treatment. Overall I like this place a lot and will return. read more

I haven't been able to find a good nail salon in a while. Boy am I glad I stopped here. They were so nice and greeted me with a smile and a welcome as soon as I walked through the door. I cant remember the name, but the lady that did my nails was so nice!!! I asked if I could have gel, it was only $25! So nice!! She even recommended I get a dip powder to ensure that my nails would be stronger. Best place ever, most definetly will be back again!! read more

Very nice shop. The workers are all very nice and playful. When I first sat at the table the workers erupted in laughter. I playfully asked if they were laughing at me and of xourse they said no. The atmosphere was nice. The music playing in the background was upbeat but not to loud. The doors were open so a very nice breeze was able to sweep in and keep the shop cool as well as clear out those salon fumes. I wanted coffin nails which I got and a design. See pic below. I was pleased with the outcome. My tech was Peter. He was very patient with me and did a great job. He didn't hurt me with that metal spinning thing either. The reason for three stars is not super fair on my part but oh weell. I don't know why shops don't do your cuticles first. You'll have bomb nails and messed up cuticles WTHeck! The other reason is because they don't do those amazing designs I see on Pinterest. But the end Def a good experience. read more

So excited i got Anthony as my manicurist...he was nicely soft spoken but not to the point where i couldnt hear him and have to ask him to repeat himself. Well, I've been going here since last August and it's still a good experience. For you people who want to feel like you are at Arden Hills Country and Spa, well then go there then and pay their prices. Jolie Nails still remains clean and good service. I did have a slight issue with communication in regard to my nails; wanting my own nails short and with an acrylic overlay over my own nails (no tips). Now they are doing my nails EXACTLY as I want them done. Today I went there with my granddaughter to have pedis. I got Tom and OMG he was incredible; best leg and foot massage EVER!!! It was his FIRST day there. Sure know who will be doing my pedis from now 'til dooms day! I would follow Tom to the moon! The prices are a little higher than other 'like' salons in the area, but I'm willing to pay for cleanliness, quiet; neat privacy shades can be drawn between each spa chair too...LOVE it! Not to mention they are happy to have your business. They give hugs too when you leave if you want them. Anyways...give Tom a try for a GREAT pedi and see the manager/owner to get everything straight if you are new to the salon in regard to how you want your nails done. After walking in no wait time was established I was patient and waited 30 minutes then the nail technician said sorry for the wait and proceeded to chat with all the nail techs about gossip in the salon the whole time. Never spoke to me once after starting. To be honest it really annoys the hell out of me when a nail tech stops what they are doing every 2 fucking seconds to chat with other people. The worst pedicure of my life! So, I ask specifically for the tech I wanted because I know I'm particular about my nails. The tech I wanted did my nails and I like them, but she passed my pedicure off to an older woman. No problem, IF she actually done them. She left ridges on my toes nails from old polish, then left EVERY POINT in the corners of each toe, cause pain the next day when I wore my closed toed pumps. I tried to explain that my nails were done badly and to add insult to injury, the lady at the front taking payment argued with me that they were done well, when anyone could see that was not the case. Not only did you lose a customer in me, but I'll be sure to tell all my friends about the way this place does business. The worst! read more

I came in today for a fill/gel polish change, this was my first time coming here because I just moved to the area. As she shaped my fill with her drill, I repeatedly let her know she was hurting me, I could feel the burning from the drill on my nails and then she drilled the cuticle too far down so I started to bleed. I told her again she was really hurting me (the annoying paper cut sting feeling along my cuticle) but she continued to do what she was doing until I pulled my hand away. I sucked it up whatever just wanted them finished, the finished product actually looked good so I was semi satisfied, before even telling me how much or where to pay whatever, she just walked away and started a pedicure on someone else. I should have walked out without paying because now, 7 hours after I got them done, my nail polish has an air looking bubble in one and the other just peeled a huge chunk of polish off. I'm getting this fixed first thing tomorrow along with my opinion being told to them after, but I will never spend $30 on a fill here again, or any service at all. read more

First time here and I liked it a lot, my friend recommended me this place because they do pedicure liners for the bowl along with your own file etc. more sanitary. I waited maybe 30 min bc they were busy but I didn't mind bc I got to use the massage chair. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my pedi, but she did a great job. I did the deluxe pedi which was $35 plus gel color so additional $15 total price was $50 which is not bad bc the lady took her time to clean and massage my feet. The deluxe comes with a feet clay mask of some sort, plus sugar scrub, plus hot stone massage. Will definitely go back. read more
