But, I just had to focus on finding a more quality one and here's why: 1. Every time I had my fill with her, I'd walk out of her business with burning eyes. I could not drive right away because my eyes would be super watery and hurt. The burning would last off and on for about a week. Clearly, she doesn't use quality glue. 2. When "cleaning up" my lashes, she would pinch my eyelid at least once causing me to tense up. It was so awful, I've never experienced this before. 3. She would rarely fill every lash as she only filled what she could in one hour maximum. Rarely, did my lashes look like a volume set. I felt like I was just a number to her, trying to fit as many clients as possible into her schedule in one day. If you prefer efficiency over quality products, exquisite customer service, quality looking lashes, I recommend Ashley.

I've been here twice. Both times were with owner, Genesis. She super sweet, professional, and easy to talk to. Her set up is comfortable enough, she tried to make it relaxing by playing some music but both times it did get kind of warm towards the ends of our session. I like how Genesis really took the time before she started to ask what I wanted and also offered her professional opinion. I felt like she really took a lot of time on me. Our first session, which was full classic lashes, took over 3 hours. I loved how my lashes turned out. Exactly what I asked for. My only complaint, was that my half of the lashes on my left side felt out within 3 days. So I made another appointment for a fill. I told her how they fell out and we came to the conclusion that I am a side sleeper. Again, I really was happy with the outcome. I was positive I did not roll onto my side this time while sleeping. I even wore a neck roll. But within 5 days more than half my lashes were gone. I really like Genesis, and most importantly I was extremely happy with how my lashes looked. Unfortunately, they just didn't last long enough. Lash fills are just too expensive and time consuming to have to come back every few days so I will have to find a new lash place.

I just came back from my day of getting ready for V-day date, and couldn't help comparing today's spa experience to the one I had last December in California at Jolie Nails. So here I am, writing a review. I was there for a relative's wedding, and my cousin brought me to this spa for a "make-over" experience. I have to say I was impressed with the space. I never actually had a relaxing spa experience at any other salon in California, or even at some Asian-owned places here where I live. It looked and felt "upscale" for the same average amount of money I'd paid anywhere else. I absolutely loved the brown waxing service. My eye-brown gal here at home usually spent an average of 3 to 5 mins whenever I go in for a wax. But the lady at Jolie Nails (I think her name was Kristi / or Christie) spent a good 12 to 15 mins on my browns that day. And she kept checking with me to make sure I was satisfied. Tina did great on my nails. And Mai (i think) was very thorough with pedicure. They were all very friendly. My cousin did mention that this place gets busy on weekends and everything's not always "perfect". "So what?!" was my respond. Everyone has bad days and good days, so do businesses. Even with the spa I considered the worst, I gave them the second try, and it did turn out better the second time. As I say to all my friends, when it comes to beauty services (hair, nails, etc.), if you expect absolute perfections and everything to your utmost satisfaction, you should probably try out in beauty school and do it yourself (given you got the talent). Or make more money and spend thousands of dollars on high-end salon experience. Bottom line is, for the kind of money I'd like to spend on nails and eye-browns, Jolie Nails was truly as good as it gets (so far). I did a lot of books reviews(and I'd like to think I'm a fair reviewer in general). But this is my first review on a spa experience. Frankly because I did not have any exceptionally great thing to say about any other places I've been to. I hope this review is helpful to you, and hope that wherever you go for your beauty services (or any other services), you'd keep an open mind. Happy Valentines Day! :) read more

I have been getting my nails done at a few places in the area, looking for someone to do my nails how I like them. I'm very picky! I FINALLY found someone who not only listened and did my nails how I wanted them done, but a also friendly! Kristy did my nails perfectly! They were very thin, lasted for weeks and was priced fair! I'm originally from San Francisco, and a set like this would easily run me over a hundred dollars or more, so I'm really happy with both the quality and the price. They also accept a bunch of payment methods like Apple Pay, Cash App, and Venmo, which made the whole checkout super easy. The best part is the quality. I'm a mom to a disabled child and I use my hands nonstop. I wash dishes, I cook, I clean, I garden, and I even planted trees in my backyard after getting these nails done.
