2 stars because Jojo waited for me to come in May 21st at 720 p.m. This is my 3rd time coming to this salon. First experience was great prices for gel mani and pedi were affordable. Post pandemic I was just happy to finally do some self care. Second experience was okay. Upon arrival I was greeted and seated within 20 minutes. The massage during pedicure was great. Unfortunately my toenails were not fully painted or even. The lady doing my manicure was doing decent, cuticle trim and accidentally cut my skin but cleaned with alcohol immediately. The lady got frustrated several times as i asked her if she could file my nails evenly and shape them. Her attitude was not geared toward customer satisfaction. She did a nice hand and arm massage. Then jojo had me get up and move to her table on other end of salon it felt like while ladies gathered my belongings and transferred to jojo table. I was caught off guard since I received no warning. She then rushed to paint my nails quickly at the end. And would only except zelle or venmo. My third and final experience was disappointing. I requested a simple $25 dollar pedicure. I settled for $35 dollar pedicure. I requested a simple gel manicure and ended up going with the dip polish. A $50 dollar service and for ombre design. Jojo told me she is an expert and my nails will look stunning and last longer then gel manicure. Jojo did not even soak my nails or properly trim cuticles. She just went straight to her dremmel and file ny natural nails down and cuticles. She began dip process. She didn't even file or clean under nails. After she finished dipping and had me put my nails under led light for 10 seconds at the end she got up told me my nails look great and im finished. Jojo did not even bother to wipe or give me a towel to clean excess dipping powder off my hands. No lotion or cuticle oil applied, no massage. She handed me a laminated paper with her zelle and venmo information and told me total is $100 even. I was shocked. No breakdown or receipt. After I zelled her $110.00 the lady doing ny pedicure had to ask jojo if she could have her tip. Jojo then left for the evening. The lady who did my pedicure asked me if I could wait for her to clean and close up. Jojo nail salon is in a secluded location and it is very dark at night. I would be nervous and scared to if i was left to close a business all alone. I waited for the lady to close up and get safely to her vehicle. I attached pictures of my "stunning" manicure and pedicure. 2 days later and dip is chipping away. My toes once again not fully painted or cleaned up nice and even. I am very unhappy with results and customer service. read more

Jojo you quoted a price over the phone and then changed it...you were rushing because there were people coming in that could not be accommodated...I didn't appreciate being quoted an affordable amount over the phone and then it going up much higher ...the nail place we normally go to also confirmed the work to be poor as well as nail polish being old...I'm sorry I will not be returning...as for my daughter she doesn't need to write anything I repaid to have her nails done again and will not be returning... read more

Started out great, around 4pm my wife and I were the only customers. Service was good, friendly and attentive, however, when it came to payment, they didn't take credit cards, they kept pointing to the atm and showing us the Venmo #. We asked quite a few more times, if they accepted cards, before she had to call the owner. Long story short, they were paid, with a tip of course, their website states that they do accept credit card , yet no one knew how, odd. went with my sister in this place and the people were so friendly and welcoming which was great but i was not very happy with the nails, and everything was so rushed. no one in there got full attention which you would like when you're getting your nails done. my sister wanted a design which the owner had posted as her design but she couldn't do it on her??! it was nothing even close to the picture so she just got a plain white nails and it was $65??? very overpriced for press on nails. read more

I'm only giving three stars because I feel like they are very overpriced. My sister and I went today we both got pedicures and I got a manicure which was a gel x set. For me alone I was $110. I thought that they had charged me for my sister as well for her pedicure was $45 alone. And to be quite honest I was not very satisfied with my nails that I got. Pedicures were amazing. The staff there is also very welcoming and friendly which I liked a lot. I'm just leaving this review because like I said I thought It was super pricey. DO NOT GO it is beyond over priced it is ridiculous. I went in with my mom for two pedicures and manicures and came out paying $233. I wanted acrylics but Jojo kept insisting that I should do gel x. I wanted a gel pedicure and one of the ladies cut my skin under my toe nail. Going back to my nails she did them very quickly and they were not neat. The rhinestones were in the wrong spot and one finger has 5 rhinestones and the other one has 6. The french tips were very messy and the gel x was all over the skin around my nails. Jojo recommended the dip powder for my mom and the lady took forever and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. All of my moms nails came out super chunky and uneven. Once we paid our total came out to $233 and Jojo only gave my mom $3 back when it was supposed to be $7. We didn't care to make a scene because there was so many people in there and on top of that we were there for hours and we just wanted to get out of there. On top of that we still tipped all of the girls. The prices she has on yelp are not what she says when you walk in, they continuously add to the price. **Update wow Jojo, you are the person who did my nails. i can't believe you would lie like that. i had to go get these removed because they were lifting after just a week. don't waste your time or money going here, everyone i know who have gone to this location has had the same thing happen to them. i'm extremely disappointed in my nails that i got done at this location. it is by a farmer boys in chino. there was a few people who came in after me and i believe it made the people there feel rushed. my friend goes there quite a bit and i had high expectations. the lady who did my pedicure was lazy and rough. she choose the wrong color, and while she corrected it she tried going OVER the color that she had picked. when we asked her to remove the polish and start over she fought with me a but and even asked if i could pick a different color. after she realized i still wanted that color she had attitude and was really rough. she cut me and it when hot water touches it it burns. not only that but because she was so rushed and rough almost all of my toes have lumpy nail polish or smudges cuz she was just throwing the gel lamp over my feet. she banged my toes up a couple times so i know it wasn't me who did it. so unprofessional. my nails were basic basic french tip with green instead of the white. the tips are uneven, the polish is lumpy, and overall look extremely ugly and NOTHING like the picture i showed. i've seen the work she's done and was quite surprised at how sloppy they were. now we did it bring it to her attention and she fixed it but barely. one nail has an awful lump on the side and the tips were STILL uneven and not at all cleaned up. she was rushing through my nails so much, i have several cuts on my cuticles and they also burn when i take under warm water. she was trying to do way to much. i understand you have customers waiting but am i not a customer? i deserved to have my nails done without feeling like a inconvenience because you had to finish them. they charged me $115 and it was not worth it all. i will be calling tomorrow to try to get at least some of my money back. read more

I went in for a dip mani and was greeted and seated right away. After I told the gal what I wanted she proceeded to drill off my old dip making my nails burn.. once the dip was off it was like she rushed to get me out the door. None of my nails were even, and some of the dip had a wave to them that you could see from the side. ( I didn't notice any of this till I was in the car) it's 50 for dip and I was actually shocked cuz I felt like I was getting over charged for a dip mani with no cuticle clean up and nails not evenly cut. Also dip was on my natural nail, no acrylics. Over all I just wish I would have inspected them inside to maybe see if she would fix them. Lesson learned and I won't be back. read more

Not the best, but I probably won't go back. Just got a pedicure. It was ok. Still felt like my feet were kind of rough afterwards and my gel polish was just ok. The polish didn't go all the way to the cuticle so it was sort of rounded. And I kept telling them to file my nails straight, but they didn't hear me or something because they made it curve. So yea, not the worst, not the best. Just ok. I'm sure they will improve a few months from now. read more

First and last time I come here. So over priced for what you get. I don't mind paying if the work was good. I came in, got a pedicure by an older man who did a bad job. Just filed, scrubbed and polished my toe nails, $30. I could have done that at home. He was so rough. Then when I was about to pay she said Venmo only, I told her I didn't have Venmo she should have told me before I got the service. Then she charged me $2 to pay with card, asked me if I wanted to leave tip, so I said $2 because he was standing right their. She then started mumbling like, this service is a look of work should be giving more. Then maybe he should have done a proper pedicure. He took 20min just painting my toes. read more

I love Henry's work on my acrylic gel nails - I'm very picky, and he has 'nailed' it every time!! Never again. Jojo was really nice, I won't deny that. However, I came to get my eyebrows cleaned up. They were boxy/ arched when I came in. I had no intention of changing that, they were about a finger and a half apart and that was okay. By the time my eyebrows were done they were rounded and 3 fingers apart !! They are so far apart and I had to pay $12 for this! If I could give no stars I think I would. I cried because of how horrible they came out. So unhappy. read more

Do NOT come here. I was hesitant to leave a review but i saw that a girl that was there the same time as i had left a review and had a similar experience (denise). I asked if it was possible for jojo (i'm assuming it was her) to do and she agreed with no hesitation. Her work was not even close to the design. When i confronted her about she claimed she couldn't have done it properly bc of the color i choose? if she did enough coats it wouldn't have been an issue but she was clearly rushing. the color being an issue doesn't make sense, sounds more like an excuse she came up with after the fact. (I have no trouble at my regular salon requesting designs in different colors or slightly altered. She also convinced me to try Gelx which i was willing to, and she left huge chucked of gel under my nails and when i was asking her to fix them she hardly did and when i asked again she again, barely did. I eventually asked for them to be soaked off bc the work here clearly is crap, she told me she would soak them off and then changed her mind and wouldn't did it after i asked 4-5 times. When she finally ATTEMPTED to fix my nails she told me "you must like things perfect", um why wouldn't you strive to give your paying customers perfect nails? again, after asking her to file down under my nails a third time, it still wasn't filed down nicely and the basic gel manicure (bc i would not let her try another design on me) i SETTLED for is still SO sloppy!!!! Her customer service skill are terrible and she should not be running a business like this if she cannot take criticism or do thing properly the 1st or even 2nd time. I did get some of my money back only bc i was persistent otherwise she would've just kept it. Go to glow me nails instead. If I could give jojo nails BY FARMER BOYS IN CHINO zero stars I would!! By far the worst service/nails I've gotten in my life and they were for my wedding! My mistake for coming here , I wish I never cheated on my ladies in Covina. Anyway, they rush through every customer, PUSH GEL X NON STOP even though you already declined politely! I asked for almond shaped dip with a tip and every single nail was a different shape and didn't match done by jojo or whoever the owner is. My pedicure was done in 2 seconds and j don't think the lady even scrubbed my feet. I had no idea they do not even clean up your nails a little before applying dip (I'm not asking for a manicure) but you'd think they'd at least push back you cuticles a bit! Instead she tried doing that with her electric drillll along my CUTICLE cutting me several times! Every time I said "ouch you're hurting me/cutting me" she replied back saying "oh, you're so sensitive". I got an off white dip color and when she was done they were matte! I asked why do they look matte and she said "Ooops I applied the wrong top coat" there's absolutely no customer service here, they try to fit in as many people as possible by rushing through everyone's nails and toes! Do NOT COME HERE! After all that she had the nerve to tell me "I didn't charge you for the manicure" I was in shock and said "WHAT MANICURE??" I went here twice for a gel mani/pedi. The first visit was ok. I got a gel mani and it cost $40. It was pricey and the lady didn't even do the massage. The second visit I decided to get a mani/pedi. The owner did my mani . She charged me $95 and my nails looked like my 9 year old cousin did them. I won't be going back. Another thing, if you are discussing your customer's nails and the amount you will charge, speak English. It's very disrespectful to the customer. It's called Professionalism and good customer care.
