Flaky, sweet, and packed with filling--they were delicious. Each flavor had its own thing going on, and honestly, it'd be hard to pick a favorite. The portion sizes were solid, and everything felt like a really good value for the price, which is always a plus. They do offer lunch items too, which we didn't try this time, but it gives me a good reason to come back and check out more of the menu. I showed up, told the wonderful women behind the counter that I'm not from here (TX here on a 6 month job), that I have zero idea what anything is in their display case because nothing in Dallas looks this good and just pick me 6 of the best things they have. 3 of the 6 never made it back to my jobsite that's 10 minutes away. The raspberry Danish, the deep fried glazed ball of heaven and the chop suey never stood a chance in the truck with me. Very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Picking vendors during COVID-19 can be very challenging. We were unable to do a tasting in-person, so Sam got creative with a cake tasting to-go box for us to pick-up and taste on our own. She packaged it up really cute and helped us not feel like we were missing out on a step of fun wedding planning. As a Bride, when you're balancing a million vendors to have someone who is kind and super on top of it to alleviate some stress, it's huge! She dropped off the cake on time and even worked with our florist to bring all the elements all together for us so I could mentally check it off my list. I can't thank her enough. I love them so much, and they are so unique, a business in Columbus had a box of their donuts out and even though the name wasn't on the box, I shouted out--Mrs. Renison's!!! before tackling the lemon mountain top. Haha. They will even custom make donuts for you if you don't see what you want and the ingredients are in the back. I like jelly donuts with no icing, sugar coating, etc. and they just go back and stuff a few for me, no problem (although I am always there when it's not incredibly busy). Definitely a place to check out. No excuses if you're already going to be around and don't need to make a donuts-only trip out to Marysville!
