Shoreland Roofing did a fantastic job replacing the roof of my home and garage last summer (2025)…read more Their proposal was not the highest nor the lowest, instead it was the most thorough, knowledgeble, and trustworthy. In preparation for the project, the owners Steve and Sue maintained clear communication, involving me in decisions that affected the look, durability, and cost of the project. I'm really happy with all my decisions! In addition, as the crew encountered minor issues, Steve worked closely with the supervisor to make sure everything got resolved. Almost a year later, I've enjoyed being able to forget about the roof! I'm no longer worrying about leaks, ice dams, or other damage. In fact, by replacing and adding pest-proof vents, the attic has better ventilation and mice are no longer a problem. I highly recommend Shoreland Roofing!

Although I have not yet had the benefit of Shoreland Roofing's work, I was more than impressed with…read morethe degree of integrity displayed when I requested an estimate following damage to my roof resulting from a fallen tree. When Shoreland owner Steve Tuchman called after his company had inspect my roof, he noted that I had obviously replaced the roof not too long ago, which I confirmed. Steve advised me that the original work was no doubt still under warranty, and that if Shoreland did the repair work, the original roofing company might use that as an excuse to invalidate the overfall warranty. Steve voluntarily passed up a roofing job just to protect me from any potential future warranty issues that could arise with my original installer. With such honesty displayed, there is no doubt that I would use Shoreland for future roofing work.

Continuing our relationship with Tony and Regal Roofing has been a great experience!

From our initial meeting, to obtaining the permit, delivery of supplies and replacing the roof itself, absolutely everything went smoothly. The entire job was masterly facilitated by Larry Russell, an experienced roofer who is now the project manager. The roofing team consisted of 6 to 7 experienced roofers who have developed a steady rhythm after working together for years. Amazingly, the work was done on our large roof, back porch and the garage over a three day period! This included removal of the old shingles, installation of 6 feet of ice and water shield on the roof edges and valleys and installation of the new shingles. Working more neatly than any other roofing company I have seen, the roofers bag the old shingles on the roof, then carry the bags to their truck, hauling away the garbage at the end of the day. Workers regularly walked around the house to pick up loose roofing materials. At the end of the workday, a large magnet was used to scan for and remove errant nails. They kept a regular schedule, arriving and leaving at prearranged times. Everyone was polite and respectful. I have full confidence in recommending Becker Roofing for any roofing-related jobs you may have. They run a tight ship resulting in an expertly installed roof in a brief period of time.

I explained this to him in a phone call and mentioned that the gutters were custom and made with the same material as our standing seam metal roof. Jeff was up front that he was not likely to be able to work on such gutters. Nevertheless, he graciously took the time to come over and assess the situation. Although it turned out to be as he expected, he was able to explain some things about the gutters and suggest a firm that might be able to help. I was impressed by his doing what he did and not just blowing us off as some other companies did. He's a knowledgeable gentleman and a heck of a nice guy!

Extremely disappointed with the quality of the work and especially the cleanup after our roof…read morereplacement. The finished roof looks rushed and sloppy. There is raw plywood visibly exposed along the edge of the roof, and the new work where the roof meets our very light-colored brick was left with large, extremely noticeable black flashing running up the brick. Whatever the purpose of it is, the finished appearance looks terrible and nothing like the roof looked before. The cleanup was just as disappointing. After the crew left, I found dozens of roofing nails/fasteners scattered throughout the grass while cutting the lawn. I ended up picking up roughly 50 of them myself. Leaving that many sharp roofing fasteners behind in a yard where people and pets walk is unacceptable. Overall, for a brand-new roof, I expected the finished product to look professional and the property to be properly cleaned when the job was completed. Instead, I'm left looking at exposed plywood at the edges, extremely unsightly work against the brick, and cleaning roofing debris out of the lawn myself. Based on the condition the job was left in, I would not recommend this company.
