Requested shingle and gutter replacement. Tom and his team showed a high level of professionalism and quality of work throughout the process. All the options were clearly laid out and there never was a hard sell approach. The price was reasonable and Tom was excellent about communicating and working with us to get the desired result. If you're looking for a roofer - start with Tom's company Presidential Roofing. I found Presidential Roofing via Yelp and was definitely tops on my list for roofing companies due to the stupendous reviews. After having experienced the service and detail of this company - I'm completely convinced they are trustworthy, offer value and a good experience and should get a call for every roofing project. I've been considering a reroof for seven years as I knew my roof would need replacement along with skylights and gutters eventually, so I've read up about all there is about roofs and skylights and gutters. Tom arrived, and did a detailed assessment on top of the roof, and provided good feedback on my concerns. He noticed several things on his assessment and offered additional options on them including various ventilation ideas. I asked him about my siding as well - he thought my siding did not need replacement so we did not quote that out. He said that his crew would strictly be outside for the project and would not need to enter the home for any reason (even though we were doing an attic fan install, and skylight replacement). About 2 days later, I received a quote via email, and we chatted more about the details - particularly about my sky light replacements and the merits of different types of roof ventilation. Being my first quote, I thought the quote was definitely a good quote (verified later after four more quotes that I received - same shingles, harder sell job from others, and some did not even climb the roof at all). After all my quotes came in, I went with Presidential Roofing - scheduled for two weeks later Roof would take 2 days, Gutters half day. The week of the job - I received a note from Tom on the particular details of the week. Don't keep the car in the driveway or in garage, as they'll deliver and use the driveway for the materials/haul away for three days. Materials were lifted onto roof off a flat-bed truck crane Tuesday afternoon. Tom advised that the skylight replacement would create some interior dust/debris (so I used some painter cloth tarps/plastic covers taped to the ceiling). They left a small dumpster trailer (swept really clean btw) off to the side of the house (wooden planks so no tire treads in grass). Each day they would clean up around the home, and would do a magnet roller to catch any nails that would have fallen around the home. The project was done exactly on time as scheduled. They started at 7-7:30am - 6pm each day for the roof. The crew was great - they were friendly, detailed, and Tom called a few days later to ask about the roof. The final invoice arrived by mail the following week (no surprises - very close to the quote), when I had the payment ready - Tom dropped by to fetch. read more

I can't say enough nice things about Presidential Roofing. Found them via Yelp after getting multiple other quotes from other roofers. The owner Tom came out to do an initial evaluation and gave me a very straightforward quote. I initially wanted to do gutters only and he told me I was better off waiting until I was ready to do the roof also. So I waited a year and then went back to get a renewed quote. Tom honored the pricing on the original quote, even though it was a year later, was very honest with me about what I did and did not need (even recommending not adding certain improvements because it didn't work for my roof instead of charging me for things I didn't need). Communication was excellent the entire time (he kept me updated, his crew came when he said they would), the price was very affordable, and the quality of the roof and gutters was great. If you're still deciding, stop looking and go for it! read more

Tom and crew are amazing - decided to go with them over several other well-rated competitors - highly recommend!

Listen up!! You will NOT go wrong using Presidential Roofing!! The owner, Tom does an initial evaluation and makes you aware when the job will start and be completed due to weather. Initially, I considered using other businesses from the weekly ad booklets. In fact, I called a couple of them but I am thankful that I remembered I kept Presidential Roofing business card as they had replaced my neighbor's roof and they were pleased as I am too. The whole crew is professional and does a thorough job cleaning up after themselves after the completion of the job. I generally do NOT wrote reviews but felt compelled to do so and would definitely recommend this roofing company to family members, friends and others. read more

did an amazing job on the roof and the work was done sooner then expected. a wonderful company and friendy. thank u for the great work done. the price that was given was much better then anyone else read more

Tom and his crew are outstanding. We had our roof replaced as well as gutters, and it looks amazing (before and after included). We had looked at a number of different companies, but Presidential Roofing provided the best value and service. Tom gave an honest quote and was great at communicating through the process, working around our schedule. The day after our roof was scheduled to be replaced there was rain forecasted, but the crew managed to get the old roof tore off and replaced by the end of the day, doing a thorough job to make sure everything was sealed. They will make sure whatever they do is sealed at the end of the work day. They also did a great job cleaning up and left things better than they arrived. Our new gutters look great as well, they did a great job installing those and they work much better than our old ones. All together, they really make our house look well cared for. I would highly recommend Presidential Roofing. read more

Very happy with the whole process and finished work! I got 3 quotes to replace the roof, gutters and siding of our house in Evanston. Tom was great, coming by to look at the house and providing a detailed estimate. He was able to schedule us about a month later. Everything went smoothly, and the crew cleaned up thoroughly after each day's work. The whole job for our single family home and garage roof, gutters and siding took about 4 days total. I communicated with Tom via email about schedule and any details I had questions about. We are very pleased with the well organized, efficient and courteous manner in which this job was completed, from estimate to finished job. read more

Tom and his team at Presidential Roofing exceeded my expectations, they did a great job on my roof. They were actually able to start the project earlier than first anticipated and finished in 2 days. They were very professional, polite, and cleaned up after. Tom also took time to show me what needed to be corrected from the previous roofers and explained my options for correcting the issues. As for my specific roof, I opted for Owens Corning Duration Flex shingles. His price was competitive with 2 other roofers and with his great reviews it was an easy choice to pick him. On a personal note, we actually talked for a while and it had nothing to do with roofing. He is one of the easiest persons to talk with I've met, it was very much like talking with an old friend. read more

We needed a new roof on our condo building and requested quotes from Presidential and two other roofers. Tom's quote was the most reasonable. It also included options for upgrades, which we added as they were suggested by an independent inspector. Tom was a pleasure to work with; he answered every question calmly and honestly, and responded to every call and email promptly. The crew worked 12 hour days to get the job done in 2 days, and completely cleaned up after the work was completed. It was a pleasure doing business with Presidential roofing. read more

Tom at Presidential Roofing is the only contractor out of 5 companies that paid attention to my requests and provided an itemized estimate for everything that I needed. Tom was also the only contractor who followed up with me after the estimate to let me know that it had been performed and to contact him with any concerns. We received an honest estimate with explanations and clear acknowledgement of expectations for possible additional costs. The work was completed within the given time frame. We received a beautiful new roof, skylight, gutters, downspouts, additional proper venting, flashing and aluminum fascia/soffits. Professional quality and professional installation. All of this and an affordable price. My old gutters had Gutter Stuff filters installed. I forgot to mention this and was worried it would be discarded with the old gutters. I was happy to see that my gutter filters were saved and put aside. Greatly appreciated. I went onto the roof to inspect and to put my gutter filters back in and was very happy with the worked performed. Great work and installed with care. The gutters felt strong enough to hang from, but I wouldn't recommend trying! I also appreciated the 3"x4" size downspouts. My neighbors downspouts now look inadequate. My home and property was clean and free of any debris. Previously I had used tar for do-it-yourself repairs and got in on siding where my roof meets that siding. They went above and beyond by cleaning up that old tar where the new roof was being installed. It was not expected and again greatly appreciated. Our home is no longer an eye sore. I highly recommend Presidential Roofing. read more

Tom and his team are extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. They gave us thoughtful advice and made sure we had no issues through the whole process of having our roof replaced. I had Tom out to check out my incredibly complex flat modified bitumen roof that was not patched right by the previous company I hired. He gave me great advice and referred me to another roofing specialist who turned out to do an incredible job. I don't hesitate to recommend him 100%. He's a man of integrity and aims to do things right (even if it means a referral). read more

Best Roofing company out there. We have a large multifaceted roof and Tom did a wonderful job managing the project, the weather and anything else that came up. Cleaned up 100% each day. Pricing was completely in line with other bids. His service level was exceptional. I don't think we will use any other roofer going forward. Note: because this is a great company, they are in demand and busy... I suggest new customers plan ahead and accordingly for scheduling- they book up. read more

Tom came out and explained everything that needed to be done on our dormer flat roof and gave us a great estimate. Tom from the beginning was straightforward and responsive to multiple estimate requests. After my second round of estimates I decided to go with presidential. They were not my cheapest estimate but in the lower half and based off a recommendation I chose them. The crew arrived slightly earlier than estimated which was great and work promptly began and ended in a couple of days. Great quality work and went above and beyond what was in the contract really. Once the left you wouldn't notice they were there other than the new roof. It is such a relief to have a roofer you can trust. You can trust Tom and Presidential. read more

Tom was great to work with and very helpful in educating my husband and I (first time homeowners) on the whole process. He also gave us lots of pricing options where we could upgrade materials if we wanted. We got quotes from 5 different companies and Tom's quote was by far the most understandable and flexible. We had our roof installed in March (this review is long overdue) but can say that we have had zero issues and the roof still looks beautiful! read more

Tom is that rare, rare honest man you always hope will be at the other end of the phone. he came out the next day, walked the property, listened to my ignorance, then explained why in fact i didn't need his services, or any roofer's service. I have an old house and needed insulation but i don't understand soffits and air flow. He does and put the cookies on the lowest shelf. after i asked him what would he do if this were his house he came up with a very intelligent way of insulating my home that would also give me storage space instead of unusable attic space. he was patient and knowledgeable and would not even take some money for coming out and spending his time with me. an honest, honorable man who deals in integrity and fairness. he treats his clients the way he would want to be treated. it was a pleasure meeting him and when i do need a roof I have my roofer. read more

Tom and his crew are great. I called for an estimate and Tom was out right away and gave a honest fair quote. Great communication and when we committed to using them for the job he scheduled us and kept to the timetable. His crew are top notch. They came out and worked there butts off. They were very professional and took the time to prep the area and thorough clean up after. I had a decent size job and they were done sooner than I expected. Had the pleasure doing business with both Joe and Tom on two separate jobs. They will give you honest answer regarding the situation. There is no up selling to replace your whole roof if there is no need too. What seems to be a problem for your roof they will quickly resolve. These guys thrive as a small business because they provide quality work, fair quotes, and will really tell you what you need to work on. read more

So grateful we found this company. We had been talking to another roofing company, to replace our garage roof, when I didn't get a good feeling from them. I emailed Presidential Roofing. They were in the area so Tom came and gave a quote the same day. One of the most professional companies I've worked with. The contract was very organized and up front. They were transparent, fast, and clean. They were more expensive but totally worth it. Their professionalism and expertise was worth it. We will definitely use them when we replace our house roof in a few years. read more
