Definitely a great fun place for kids under 10 years old in my point of view. Went here for my friend's child's birthday and as an adult, it is a lot going on and loud, but for a kid it is fun and never ending fun. The food is all you can eat buffet style and it composed of different types of pizza, salad, fried chicken drumstick, mashed potatoes, variety of pasta dishes, variety of desserts, soft serve ice cream, soft drinks and even an iced machine. For a buffet, the good isn't that bad and pretty decent. Don't expect quality, but since it is a predominantly a kids play place the food is more catered to them. Overall I was pleased with the quality. The service was ok and nothing great. They didn't seem to be short staff so I do believe they could do a bit better on service. Recently went for a birthday. The ring was already decorated with a glow in the dark theme. Out hostess was the sweetest Ava beer attentive. There were crayons, hats and balloons. She made some animal balloons and brought out glow in the dark sticks. The kids and adults had fun. As for the arcade, the only thing with this was that some of the games wouldn't let you play. Your scan your card and it would deduct the coins but you couldn't play. Was a bit of a hassle to get in a line to request a refund. Overall it was fun. read more

My kids love this place, they love the food, games and rides! My husband and I can relax and the kids can explore, serve themselves ice cream and serve their own food.. they love to feel independent. The food is has gotten a lot better but it's not a five star restaurant, go to Mastros for that! $18 for a decent buffet is not bad. My older son loves the 5 cheese pizza and my younger one LOOOOVES the fettuccine Alfredo! My teenage daughter and I Looove the salad bar & desserts & my husband likes everything.. he's easy! The crowd can be kinda very "Wow" lol but for me it's entertaining to people watch...just stay in your lane The games and rides are cool & the mini golf is fun! Theres a ton of games to keep the kids entertained for hours (if you pay) The roller coaster is super fun, the line goes fast & the ride is longer than I expected it to be. It's not a quick little 20 second ride! The rides, the games, the food, the high energy, the chaos... we love it all! Now... the place is pretty filthy lol I do wish there was trash cans.. not sure why there isn't any but they're definitely needed. Staff are teenagers so I don't expect an extremely clean play place, they're still learning how to clean their room. Staff is very friendly though! The food was a 5/10, but the reason I am writing this review is as a warning to parents. Be careful with what you take home. Make sure you wash and sanitize all the toys because they don't care. I attempted to get my daughter a plush crayon when I noticed mold on it. I have attached the photo in case no one believes me. Who knows how long those things have been there. read more

Even without ac they didn't allow my sister with a heart condition to take water into the extremely hot game area . They also seem to treat some people better then others . It's expensive. I only have 1 kid but for me & my daughter it costed about $64 for food and tickets (not including rides). The food wasn't even all that. I also saw little kids putting their hands in the food. It's a wonder that people don't get sick. read more

John's Incredible Pizza is located in a shopping plaza with ample parking and is conveniently located off the 110 Freeway near Alpine Village. It's incredible how often I pass by this location and never drop by, especially having a young one. My friend told me that this place was a great place to bring the kiddo and have her run around and have fun. I decided to stop by this past Monday because the kid was off for a school holiday and I decided to take it off as well. The first thing I noticed, the moment I walked in, is the fact that the place is divided evenly down the middle with the left side being all the games and rides and the right side being all of the food and drinks. There is ample place to find a table and sit to eat. The 2nd thing I notice is to get in, it's all self-serve. You go to a kiosk and enter all the information from food to game cards and so forth. It's pretty straightforward - although it's pretty annoying that I purchased the game card that included 3 rides, and every single ride was out of commission. The food is an AYCE of pasta, chicken, salad, and desserts with all-you-can-drink sodas, coffees, and icees. If you want alcohol, that's extra. It's nothing to write home about. It's about what you would expect for an AYCE place that caters for parties and quick in-and-out dining. The game side was interesting as half of the games were out of commission and none of the rides were operating. For the price you pay, I'd expect the games to at least be working. Prizes are okay - similar to other places that do the same concept of food + arcade. Will I be back, probably if it's for a kid's party that we were invited to. If it's by choice, there's no real reason for me to come here as I don't feel I got my money's worth. read more

I guess I can start off with the positive which is the games are pretty cool and extremely kid friendly which I wish was enough to at least give a 2 star review. I have a 2 year old with the attention span of a gold fish and she had an absolute blast especially for the price point which is much cheaper than say Dave N Busters (more adult themed I know). However, everything else was absolutely DISGUSTING. Food bits, dirty plates, dirty cups EVERYWHERE. I kid you not, the trash cans were so overflowed with trash that they started piling dirty plates where clean utensils and napkins were at for the grab. The overflow of trash and dirty plates didn't stop there, once you started looking around for somewhere to eat you realize just how many tables are stacked with dirty plates and half eaten food. I suppose staff was supposed to clean them up after you're done but we left to go play games for about an hour and a half, came back to grab a quick last minute bite w/dessert and we couldn't sit anywhere from how dirty tables were. We stood by the fountain drinks area to finish up our dessert and pizza slice which were also overflown with small plates (I'm assuming dessert??) and dirty cups. I'm guessing others had the same idea to huddle by the fountain drinks area to finish up the food ASAP. Let me not forget to mention the unsupervised access to the buffet children had. Majority of the food touched and played with without anyone to supervise. I guess that's more of a parent responsibility to look over their kids and make sure not to touch the food they aren't going to eat (kudos to the A1 parenting) but from a business standpoint there should still be someone monitoring for food safety. All in all, I guess if you can look past that, it's a cool concept to take your little ones so they can wild out. She was extremely helpful and even hosted some games for the kids to play while in the party room. First time. You pay admission whether you eat or not. An adult is 19 usd. A child is 14 usd. Fun cards are extra with the cheapest being 25 usd. So this isn't a cheap stop. Myself and my 13 year old was 89 dollars for cheapest options. So if you wanna blow 100 bucks at an upscale Chuck E Cheese, feel free to. Buffet was salad, pasta, dessert and drinks. It seemed ok. GREAT place to let the kids run amuck and they serve beer/wine! plenty of space for private gatherings of all sizes. lots of electronic gizmos and entertainment that your wallet will never forgive you for. they have a buffet area that is included with entrance. that area was kept pretty clean considering all the hands going through there. we had a reserved room where pizza was included as well and staff that led the kids in games. the video games and miniature carnival rides were reasonably priced and also well maintained and unblemished. overall, if you're near the area, great option to take the kids to. only thing they're missing are couches where you can just sit and enjoy your adult beverage. oh well. read more

Yesterday I visited this location for a 2-year old's birthday party. I have visited this location in the past. As an adult, I have to pay for the buffet which is understandable. When I went to get food, I noticed that the stations or pans that hold the food were empty. I asked a worker if they would replenish the food and he said "maybe" but he said he'd go check. He returned and said, for instance, they ran out of baked potatoes. I then asked if the other food stations would be replenished and he said he didn't know. I then asked for a manager. The manager "Jorge" came out and I explained to him that the food hadn't been replenished, and he said that the pizzas were in the oven and would be out soon. I asked about the other food and he began to walk away without responding. I repeated my question and he said, "Ask him". "Him" that he was referring to was his assistant, Terynce. I was extremely upset, disappointed, and on top of that, hungry, because I wasn't able to get food. When I approached Terynce, I explained that it was ridiculous that first, the manager wouldn't even make time for me and disregarded my concerns, and secondly, that I paid for a buffet, yet the food was limited. Terynce, already sensing that I was upset, remained calm and professional. He explained that he would see to it that the food that I was requesting was replenished. He gave me an approximation, and I was happy with that. I waited for some time and Terynce returned to me, explained that the food was on the way, and apologized for any inconveniences. I would like to point out that Terynce, a young man, was more attentive and professional than his supervisor. Because of his excellent customer service, I would return to this establishment. So this place is edible when you go in to eat, we love the chicken Alfredo pizza..., but ordered to go was NOT good at all! Just spare yourself! The cheese pizza was so dried out and the Alfredo pizza (my fave) was half frozen!!!! The fettuccini Alfredo was so dry it had no sauce and was a frozen block and the 2 spaghetti and meat sauces, one had no sauce, and the other had no meat! SUPER EXPENSIVE for garbage! i see the owner responded so i'm responding back . Yes, I understand the party is scheduled for an hour and 30 minutes, which sounds like plenty of time, but in reality it isn't everything feels rushed. As I mentioned, the party before mine ran 40 minutes into my time because they didn't want to leave, and the supervisor only offered me 10 extra minutes, which is unacceptable. I paid $600, and for that price I expected things to run smoothly, but instead everything felt rushed, it was extremely hot, Definitely a waste of money -- never again. Lesson learned read more

I feel very irresponsible because this review should have been posted on May 25th, 2024. That was the day that my crew and I gave this location to visit. Da'Mya one of the admission staff members was awesome. From her professionalism, patience and going above and beyond to solve one of our problems dealing with Groupon, she left a very good impression on me. Our tickets were bought beforehand on Groupon and all I had to do was order two more for some unexpected guests. The problem is one of the tickets that was purchased on Groupon, somehow or another I clicked the wrong location. I clicked Riverside. I'm not sure how that happened but Da'Mya worked her miracles and I didn't have to repurchase that ticket. I think we came in at least 12 people deep so Da'Mya did a wonderful job. This is the second time I took my kid crew to this location and of course John's didn't disappoint. As usual the food is fresh and hot and consistently provided along with the drinks. The desserts are amazing to be so simple. We all have our enjoyment and favorites when it comes to the games. My only complaint would be, someone should keep an eye on the machines where you reload your game cards. I understand that the actual arcade games would break down at times and that's understandable but when it comes to the car loading machine, in my opinion that should be up to par. Lavale another employee who redeems your tickets for prizes was very very professional and patient. There were times I had to get on the kids, to calm down and to not run Lavale crazy. We had decided to combine all the game cards together and split the ticket results among each child That way it can be fair and each one of them could walk away with something. When they were done it was slight chaos but Lavale handled himself very professionally and was patient with them. I would definitely be back to this location because it's one of my favorites and I would definitely refer to someone else that needs to throw a party or just want to take their kids out. read more
