The food was a 5/10, but the reason I am writing this review is as a warning to parents. Be careful with what you take home. Make sure you wash and sanitize all the toys because they don't care. I attempted to get my daughter a plush crayon when I noticed mold on it. I have attached the photo in case no one believes me. Who knows how long those things have been there. read more

My kids love this place, they love the food, games and rides! My husband and I can relax and the kids can explore, serve themselves ice cream and serve their own food.. they love to feel independent. The food is has gotten a lot better but it's not a five star restaurant, go to Mastros for that! $18 for a decent buffet is not bad. My older son loves the 5 cheese pizza and my younger one LOOOOVES the fettuccine Alfredo! My teenage daughter and I Looove the salad bar & desserts & my husband likes everything.. he's easy! The crowd can be kinda very "Wow" lol but for me it's entertaining to people watch...just stay in your lane The games and rides are cool & the mini golf is fun! Theres a ton of games to keep the kids entertained for hours (if you pay) The roller coaster is super fun, the line goes fast & the ride is longer than I expected it to be. It's not a quick little 20 second ride! The rides, the games, the food, the high energy, the chaos... we love it all! Now... the place is pretty filthy lol I do wish there was trash cans.. not sure why there isn't any but they're definitely needed. Staff are teenagers so I don't expect an extremely clean play place, they're still learning how to clean their room. Staff is very friendly though! Myself and my 13 year old was 89 dollars for cheapest options. So if you wanna blow 100 bucks at an upscale Chuck E Cheese, feel free to. Buffet was salad, pasta, dessert and drinks. It seemed ok. I feel very irresponsible because this review should have been posted on May 25th, 2024. That was the day that my crew and I gave this location to visit. Da'Mya one of the admission staff members was awesome. From her professionalism, patience and going above and beyond to solve one of our problems dealing with Groupon, she left a very good impression on me. Our tickets were bought beforehand on Groupon and all I had to do was order two more for some unexpected guests. The problem is one of the tickets that was purchased on Groupon, somehow or another I clicked the wrong location. I clicked Riverside. I'm not sure how that happened but Da'Mya worked her miracles and I didn't have to repurchase that ticket. I think we came in at least 12 people deep so Da'Mya did a wonderful job. This is the second time I took my kid crew to this location and of course John's didn't disappoint. As usual the food is fresh and hot and consistently provided along with the drinks. The desserts are amazing to be so simple. We all have our enjoyment and favorites when it comes to the games. My only complaint would be, someone should keep an eye on the machines where you reload your game cards. I understand that the actual arcade games would break down at times and that's understandable but when it comes to the car loading machine, in my opinion that should be up to par. Lavale another employee who redeems your tickets for prizes was very very professional and patient. There were times I had to get on the kids, to calm down and to not run Lavale crazy. We had decided to combine all the game cards together and split the ticket results among each child That way it can be fair and each one of them could walk away with something. When they were done it was slight chaos but Lavale handled himself very professionally and was patient with them. I would definitely be back to this location because it's one of my favorites and I would definitely refer to someone else that needs to throw a party or just want to take their kids out. read more

I guess I can start off with the positive which is the games are pretty cool and extremely kid friendly which I wish was enough to at least give a 2 star review. I have a 2 year old with the attention span of a gold fish and she had an absolute blast especially for the price point which is much cheaper than say Dave N Busters (more adult themed I know). However, everything else was absolutely DISGUSTING. Food bits, dirty plates, dirty cups EVERYWHERE. I kid you not, the trash cans were so overflowed with trash that they started piling dirty plates where clean utensils and napkins were at for the grab. The overflow of trash and dirty plates didn't stop there, once you started looking around for somewhere to eat you realize just how many tables are stacked with dirty plates and half eaten food. I suppose staff was supposed to clean them up after you're done but we left to go play games for about an hour and a half, came back to grab a quick last minute bite w/dessert and we couldn't sit anywhere from how dirty tables were. We stood by the fountain drinks area to finish up our dessert and pizza slice which were also overflown with small plates (I'm assuming dessert??) and dirty cups. I'm guessing others had the same idea to huddle by the fountain drinks area to finish up the food ASAP. Let me not forget to mention the unsupervised access to the buffet children had. Majority of the food touched and played with without anyone to supervise. I guess that's more of a parent responsibility to look over their kids and make sure not to touch the food they aren't going to eat (kudos to the A1 parenting) but from a business standpoint there should still be someone monitoring for food safety. All in all, I guess if you can look past that, it's a cool concept to take your little ones so they can wild out. The cheese pizza was so dried out and the Alfredo pizza (my fave) was half frozen!!!! The fettuccini Alfredo was so dry it had no sauce and was a frozen block and the 2 spaghetti and meat sauces, one had no sauce, and the other had no meat! SUPER EXPENSIVE for garbage! The girls that led the party had such great energy and were really great at engaging with the kids. I also had a standout experience with the Bumper Car operator. Yesterday I visited this location for a 2-year old's birthday party. I have visited this location in the past. As an adult, I have to pay for the buffet which is understandable. When I went to get food, I noticed that the stations or pans that hold the food were empty. I asked a worker if they would replenish the food and he said "maybe" but he said he'd go check. He returned and said, for instance, they ran out of baked potatoes. I then asked if the other food stations would be replenished and he said he didn't know. I then asked for a manager. The manager "Jorge" came out and I explained to him that the food hadn't been replenished, and he said that the pizzas were in the oven and would be out soon. I asked about the other food and he began to walk away without responding. I repeated my question and he said, "Ask him". "Him" that he was referring to was his assistant, Terynce. I was extremely upset, disappointed, and on top of that, hungry, because I wasn't able to get food. When I approached Terynce, I explained that it was ridiculous that first, the manager wouldn't even make time for me and disregarded my concerns, and secondly, that I paid for a buffet, yet the food was limited. Terynce, already sensing that I was upset, remained calm and professional. He explained that he would see to it that the food that I was requesting was replenished. He gave me an approximation, and I was happy with that. I waited for some time and Terynce returned to me, explained that the food was on the way, and apologized for any inconveniences. I would like to point out that Terynce, a young man, was more attentive and professional than his supervisor. Because of his excellent customer service, I would return to this establishment. If you're looking for a place that is the definition of chaos, this is it. It's SO Loud - like a casino x10. Even the 6 year old niece commented on it and we had to yell at each other to hear what each other were saying. It's not crazy expensive, $80 for 2 adults, 1 6year old and $30 worth of games + 2 rides & includes all you can eat buffet. The food was meh (my husband spit out his pasta, but said the pizza was decent) and the niece loved the soft serve, which i had to wait in line for 15 min because only one machine was working. The dining area was filthy and we had to go to 7 different tables to find one that wasn't covered with full dinners just left there. People just trash this place and there's not enough staff to fill/clean everything. All the plate stations and cup Stations were empty and if food was taken, it took a long time to get refills. The roller coaster (which was the 1 thing my niece wanted to do) was closed, a lot of games were down or ate our funds, and several lasted less than 10-15 sec. She honestly had fun but got bored with the selection. At the end we threw her on the carousel because she said the bumper cars were too loud, and did all we could to use our funds to get tix for her. My niece comes often to stay and I was hoping this was a place we could frequent, but after this trip, not sure we'll be back. Gonna go check the old school chuck-e-cheese by us and see if that's better than this place. read more

Yes, I understand the party is scheduled for an hour and 30 minutes, which sounds like plenty of time, but in reality it isn't everything feels rushed. As I mentioned, the party before mine ran 40 minutes into my time because they didn't want to leave, and the supervisor only offered me 10 extra minutes, which is unacceptable. I paid $600, and for that price I expected things to run smoothly, but instead everything felt rushed, it was extremely hot, Definitely a waste of money -- never again. Lesson learned read more

Brought my kiddo here for a birthday party. The party started at 11 which was nice because it was pretty quiet when we arrived. Check in was easy and they let us know which room the party was in. Lots of options on the buffet, so there's a little something for everyone (but don't expect anything on this buffet to wow you). They have different pizzas, salad, baked potatoes, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, pastas, soup and desserts. There is also a soft-serve ice cream machine. If you're interested in adult beverages, they have those as well for an additional cost. There are lots of options for the kiddos in the play area and there is really something for all ages. However, there were a few games that we tried and the machine wasn't working properly. Overall, the kiddo had a good time. But the 1 thing that grossed me out was that this business has a buffet where multiple people are touching serving utensils and multiple people are touching all of the games, but there was not a drop of hand sanitizer in the entire place. Ewwwwww! You'd think they would have at least a couple of hand sanitizer stations in this place considering what kind of business it is. read more

Been here on multiple occasions, once during the week and once on the weekend. Probably will not be going back, ever, on the weekend. The best way to describe John's is a cross between Dave and Busters and Chuck E. Cheese. The food is buffet; this includes pizza, soup, salad bar, pasta and fried chicken. They have an ice cream machine and a slurpee machine, which kids love. During the week, the place seems much cleaner, the food is more available, and the games are all up and running. During the weekend, it is chaos! Let me repeat that, chaos!!!! The place is a mess, they cannot keep up with the food demands, there is trash all over ( I refused to use the restroom), and a lot of games were out of order.
