We immediately called RW Garage Doors during business hours, which advertises "same day service" for repairs on their website and provides a phone number to call for "immediate service." We spoke with a customer service rep who refused to escalate our call to a manager, or anyone else at RW for that matter, even after we explained the situation and the need to have transportation for work. She offered no recourse (and zero empathy) except a late afternoon appointment on Monday between 2 and 4pm. We reluctantly scheduled the appointment. Without a vehicle now available for getting to work, or anywhere else for that matter, you can see how this is problematic for us, not to mention a potential safety issue. Having no success with their "customer service" person, we immediately followed up to RW with an email, and reached out to their management staff online in order to escalate the issue ourselves as we could not be without a vehicle. In the interim, we took steps to mitigate the issue and reached out to another business on Yelp who responded to our message within 15 minutes and arrived at our house an hour later. An amazing contrast to the lack of service and attentiveness we had just experienced with RW. No wonder this other business has many 5-star reviews. The other business arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed the issue, repaired the problem which actually had to do with the way the door was apparently hung by RW, and our garage door is now fully functioning again! Most of all, the other business saved us from going days without transportation. We are shocked and disappointed at the lack of customer service from RW, especially given the amount of money we spent with them. To say we felt misled by their obvious fraudulent claims of "immediate" and "same day service" is an understatement. Perhaps, most distressing, however, was the complete lack of care and empathy towards our situation of being stranded without transportation for work and personal needs. They didn't even try to fake it -- how about at least pretending to care about the people who support your business??? Shocking, to say the least. We will will never do business again with RW Garage Doors, nor recommend them to others.
