Willy's Kitchen is a comfortable cozy friendly little restaurant, just east of the BWI airport…read moresince 2002. They prepare a full breakfast menu all morning, and a nice array of comfort-food the rest if the day. This was our first time here, and we were welcomed like regulars. We both felt like the fried fish, halibut i think, and we got one sandwich and one platter with fries. They served us hefty thick filets, lightly breaded, freshly fried and piping-hot. The halibut was mild-flavored, ready for our favorite sauces and seasoning. I like variety, and had some with salt and pepper, simple and delicious. We had some with genuine Tabasco, which to me is more flavorful than some of the sweeter hot-sauces, though i like those too. I ate it in the old style, which is to sauce the bread. It creates a creamy texture and makes it easy to get just the right amount of heat that I want with each bite. And Willy's served a thick creamy tartar sauce that is very satisfying. The fries were hot and crisped and quite generous. We liked Willy's welcoming staff. They seemed to like the place and the customers, and they seem to know many as regulars. And the customers filled the room with a soothing background of happy chatter. I can't tell you how comfortable it felt. We heard that breakfast fills up early on weekends, so we might not try to bring a large group during those hours. We will definitely be back :-)

The server, Tara P, did a great job -- she was the one bright spot. The bigger problem is cleanliness. The ambiance has gone downhill significantly, and there were several flies buzzing around the dining room. One even tried to land on my toast, which was pretty gross. I was not impressed whatsoever. If this is the new normal, they need to fix it immediately. I'd give it another shot once things improve, but right now this is a two.

Service was good; our waitress was friendly and they were attentive about keeping drinks full. Orders came out quickly and accurate My bf ordered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I ordered a New Orleans panini (Cajun seasoned chicken, mushrooms, Swiss. Also came with onions which I omitted) and subbed mac and cheese in place of fries. The mashed potatoes were very bland and the consistency was meh. Not very creamy or flavorful. The gravy was very good. The steak was also well prepared and good with the gravy. The mac and cheese had a really nice, creamy consistency with a good cheese pull, but also lacked seasoning imo. The panini was very good. The chicken had good seasoning and was tender and the sandwich was nicely pressed and toasty. Prices were fair especially for the large portions, but not accurate to the menu (which a sign on the door warns about, but I still feel accurate prices should be available). Overall, though it was hit or miss I'd return and try some other items. I just wish seasoning was a bit more consistent since I love sides as much as I love mains.

I had been to this Denny's a few times since living in Anne Arundel County the past 5 years. Noteworthy times here: -November 2020: My parents visited around Thanksgiving, and we went here. -A couple of times in 2021-2023, my friend visited town, and he is particular with his breakfast as he is lactose intolerant. One time I said IHOP and named other possibility, and he was dead set on Denny's as he knew that would work. I have a picture of my Denny's food from his visit in July 2023, but I remembered it was the Denny's in Laurel as that is my closest location (Hanover is 2nd closest). I picked him up at BWI the night before, he crashed at my place for 1 night before his conference/hotel he was staying at in downtown Baltimore. The next morning I said we could go to the Laurel Denny's & drop you off at Laurel MARC station right by Denny's. After we ate at Denny's, I realized they only go during rush hour during the week, and it was late morning. So, I had to schlep him up to BWI MARC. If I had known that, I would've just gone to the Hanover location. 3rd date in May 2023: I had met her at games group, and she lived relatively close to this Denny's. We enjoyed good service & food. I think I got an omelette that night. And we enjoyed playing a couple of games in the booth. Every time I've been to this Denny's, it was on point with good service & food. I think their pancakes are superior to IHOP, which the acronym is Pancake, so that's saying something.

The sausage and egg sandwich came on a croissant, and it was toasted perfectly with just the right amount of butter. We really enjoyed that one. The cheesesteak was also very good. The bread was nicely toasted, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. My only suggestion would be to add a little more meat because the sandwich could definitely use it, but overall the flavor was good and we enjoyed it. The corned beef hash was good too -- I added a little hot sauce and killed it! What really stood out to us was the service. Even though this is a carryout-style place, they brought our food, condiments, and even our drinks right over to the table while we waited. Everyone was very hospitable, friendly, and welcoming. Great little spot with good food and nice people. We will definitely be going back!

The young man who greeted us was very courteous and ensured I received the window seat I requested, which set a positive tone right away. A special mention goes to Ari, who was knowledgeable, personable, and attentive throughout our visit. Ari's warm and engaging personality made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. We enjoyed the experience so much that we will definitely be back. We were so eager to dig in that we forgot to take photos beforehand, which says a lot about how good everything looked and tasted. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Perfect for burning a gift card but maybe not a regular spot. My wife and I had a gift card burning a hole in our pockets, so we decided to stop into the Linthicum Heights location for Sunday brunch. Overall, the experience was totally satisfactory, though it came with a few minor hiccups. Walking in, the menu is exactly how I remember it being from my last visit years ago, though like everything else these days, the prices are a tad more expensive. I opted for the Country Boy Breakfast, which comes with sirloin tips, biscuits, gravy, and my choice of sides. I went with the dumplings and the hashbrown casserole. The flavors themselves hit the spot and tasted exactly as I remembered from previous trips. The hashbrown casserole and biscuits were solid comfort food. However, the steak tip portion was a bit of a letdown. My wife ordered the steak and eggs, and her portion of steak was easily double to triple the size of mine. It felt a little mismatched considering both are hearty breakfast plates. We also ran into some standard Sunday crowd service hiccups. Our server fumbled our drink order right out of the gate and wasn't very attentive when it came to checking back for refills. At the end of the day, it is perfectly serviceable if you want a massive, nostalgic country breakfast. But if we did not have that leftover gift card balance to use up, it would probably be a few more years before we felt the need to return.
