SHRINKFLATION ALERT!!! This comment is for the establishment's need for greed! My daughter likes Johnny Rockets because it was a place we would always visit when we went to the mall. I would usually get a burger or BLT and she would get a kids meal. Tell me why when I ordered a BTL sandwich, that is literally all I got. No fries. No chips. Just the sandwich. That sandwich was $7.99. I could buy a slab or bacon for that price!!!! I used to order this before (it was a bit cheaper in price) AND it came with fries. I think this restaurant is sometimes overlooked. I go there on occasion and every time I have been there the food and service have been consistent. The dining room is relaxed, comfortable and clean . The food is good especially the burgers. Service is always fast and courteous. The restaurant is located inside the Arundel Mills Mall just past the movie theaters. Ordered a Spicy Houston Double w/fries. It came out faster then you could say boo. It was juicy and pretty good but nothing extremely special just felt mid. The fries did have a nice crunch and were hot but just bland and basic. Service was average. The revamp to try to modernize the brand was very drab. The only way to truly get the best experience is to pair that shake with a burger. We went with the classic, it was a little thin in terms of meat, but still good nonetheless. The atmosphere is based off a 1950's diner with colorful booth seats and old-timey music. A great place to go if none of the spots in the food court look palatable. The service is very attentive friendly and staff seem cheerful. This I am assuming means they are compensated and treated fairly. The ambiance is exactly what you expect and appreciate. Noisy with sounds of customers, beeps from the dry stations, and constant sizzling of the burgers. The food unfortunately is just OK. The mayo used is a cheaper brand with no real flavor, the pickles are not balanced with rest of flavor, the cheese slice on the burger was very thin and was just about invisible, and the burger is supposedly a quarter pound but much smaller than McD's equivalent and less flavorful. The sized were done well with right amount of salt. Recommend the onion rings!
