SHRINKFLATION ALERT!!! This comment is for the establishment's need for greed! My daughter likes Johnny Rockets because it was a place we would always visit when we went to the mall. I would usually get a burger or BLT and she would get a kids meal. Tell me why when I ordered a BTL sandwich, that is literally all I got. No fries. No chips. Just the sandwich. That sandwich was $7.99. I could buy a slab or bacon for that price!!!! I used to order this before (it was a bit cheaper in price) AND it came with fries. I really hate doing bad reviews but I can't help this one. I can handle a mistake or two most times but this got me crazy. Simple order, 12 wings tater tot's, an original burger and two Pepsi's. The sodas and the tots (a side dish not an appetizer) came about the same time. 10 minutes later the burger arrived with an apology that the wings weren't done yet. My wife waited for my wings to arrive so we could eat together and after 10 more minutes I finally convinced her to just eat. She took her time but finished her burger when I asked for the manager to cancel the wings and please give me the check. The manager tells me he will give me the wings to go and apologized. I again asked for the check. James our waiter then came and said the manager wants to give me a shake for the road. No thank you please just give me the check (third time) After a moment or two I heard another waiter tell James to get me the check. When the check finally came the wings, I never received, were still on the bill. The managers then corrected the bill and even took off another percentage. But they had two managers on duty and not one on the floor. Both in the kitchen. It's easier to fix a problem as it happens not after a complete failure. It was too far gone. They tried to give me the wings as I walked out the door almost an hour after I arrived. No thank you! The tits were good the burger was meh at best. The hamburgers are disappointing and boarder line disgusting... they press the meat to an inch of its life ... thinner than a pancake. It's cold in minutes from the toppings and tastes of just bread and thousand island. For 10.00 you would think it would be better the McDonald's. Never order from here. read more

I think this restaurant is sometimes overlooked. I go there on occasion and every time I have been there the food and service have been consistent. The dining room is relaxed, comfortable and clean . The fries did have a nice crunch and were hot but just bland and basic. Service was average. The revamp to try to modernize the brand was very drab. The only way to truly get the best experience is to pair that shake with a burger. We went with the classic, it was a little thin in terms of meat, but still good nonetheless. The atmosphere is based off a 1950's diner with colorful booth seats and old-timey music. A great place to go if none of the spots in the food court look palatable. The fries were your basic frozen straight cut fries, but the Rocket single was very delicious. Next time I will definitely just get a double burger which I'm sure will taste even better! The mayo used is a cheaper brand with no real flavor, the pickles are not balanced with rest of flavor, the cheese slice on the burger was very thin and was just about invisible, and the burger is supposedly a quarter pound but much smaller than McD's equivalent and less flavorful. The sized were done well with right amount of salt. Recommend the onion rings!
