Was charged $80 extra for a full service on my atv because cashier wrote up seperate work order when I asked him to put a note in there to check shifter linkage and clutch. These are part of the full service . Service manager said i was charged extra $80 because that's the way it was wrote up! Not a good place to go for any type of service. I took my 2023 Spyder in for an oil change and battery check. Prices were very high, but the staff did the job. When I got my bike home, I noticed that my $450 Shad SH58X top case was uneven. The top case was in the expanded position when it went in and only the left side was in the expanded position. The right side is broke, and it looks like Johnny K's set something heavy on my top case. I called Johnny K's and was told to send pictures. I sent videos and have not heard from them. I guess I have to spend another $450 and then take Johnny K's to small claims court to get my money. I thought at least they would call but they are too busy to provide any customer service let alone good customer service. I ride with a club of 56 riders. Niles store replaced my shifting dog and they created more problems 1) putting tranny parts on my seats causing marks and intentations 2)cab full of oak leaves from sitting ouside under the trees 3) lost my front center caps 4) did something to cause shifting in and out of gear difficult 5) put left axle on right side on rear causing damage to axles and oil seals 6) left axle wasnt even tight or torqued into hub and flopping around 7) lost washers for under lug nuts on both side in rear 8) blew out new whip light which they blamed me. service manager is very rude trying to pin things on me until he finds out his Technician caused them. i would never take anything into Johnny K's to get service again or buy from them. read more

Brought our Kawasaki in for service and it was a complete disaster!!! They had my machine for almost 4 months cause they dropped the ball with the warranty company! Got it back, center caps missing, seats damaged from putting transmission parts on them, brand new whip blown cause they broke & pinched wires, brake caliper need adjusted (smoking), had trouble shifting (they drug my machine on to their trailer to tell me that there was moisture in tranny fluid THEY PUT IN!!! btw we are still having issues with that!!! AXLES PUT IN WRONG!!! ( they did replace both but SM wanted us to put it under our warranty!!!??? Why for their mistake???) Sheared splines off the right ...the left side axle nut was hand tightened & never torqued leaving the hub & rotor flopping!!! SM, KB, lacks people skills. He is too cocky & disrespectful towards customers!!! No understanding of the customers frustration when you PAY for a professional job & they were very lacking!! With the disrespect, he showed to me as well as my machine, I had to do the work which they were paid to do!! I will be notifying Kawasaki and seeking what course of action i need to take. Social media and BBB were also going to be notified. I have full documentation, pictures and videos for my factual statements above. We had to take our buggy to another dealership. The repairs to fix all Johnny K's mistakes was over $3000. Contacted them ...no response & reported to BBB. read more

My son was involved in a motorcycle accident in August 2021. Johnny K's Powersports in Niles was an approved shop to repair the 2018 Indian Scout motorcycle. The motorcycle was brought to them in September 2021. As of today, December 17, 2022, he still does not have his motorcycle. Johnny K's has already been paid in full last year. According to the shop they are not able to get the heat shield for the bike and do not know when it will be in. The shop says "it is a Polaris problem and are unable to get the part." The insurance company is unable to help since they paid them in full already. This bike should have been done last year. This is absolutely unacceptable and this company is not attempting to resolve this issue! Don't take anything to be repaired here!!!! read more

Bought a 2014 Can Am Spyder RT last year from a private individual. Very satisfied with the bike. The problem is trying to make standard maintenance repairs like tires, brakes, oil change. The JK dealerships are out 8 to 10 weeks on scheduled appointments and that just to drop the unit off not to repair. That's half the summer. Being mechanical I do all the maintenance myself. The dealerships customer service/relationship is absolutely horrendous. The rude attitude and the refusal to answer any tech questions and then tell you to schedule an appointment. I had asked a simple question to verify a torque spec. When I asked to purchase a service manual, I'm told they are unavailable. How sad that people spend thousands of dollars through this company and this is the service you receive. read more

So I recently purchased a 2022 CFMoto 700 CLX Sport from this location. The sales experience was good and everyone was very nice and I had no issues with that whatsoever. The problems I had were when my bike was delivered the following week. I noticed that the exhaust was not complete as the stock heat shield was taken off. When I called about it, I was told that it was brought in like that and that there was nothing I could do about it except order a new one. I spoke with parts about this and they informed me that I would need to buy a completely new exhaust since they didn't offer the outer heat shield separately. The next issue is even worse as far as I'm concerned because it could cause a safety issue. Upon riding the bike, I noticed that the seat was loose. I removed the back cowling behind the seat so I could see if maybe a bolt just need tightened, when I found that the assembly and bolts to fasten the front seat to the bike were just missing altogether. The seat was just sitting on top of the bike and being held in place by the rear cowling that clips in place. The dealership HAD to have known about this since they installed a battery tender quick connect to the bike which requires getting under the seat to do so. I find it incredibly negligent that the bike was sold to me like this and that this would in any way pass any sort of 'inspection' that they did before delivery. read more

After many discussions with the service manager on getting my defective clutch repaired on my razor with 300 miles with a extended warranty they decided they wouldn't cover it. . Then they prentented gives us a few more days and well see what we can do. No one called me for a month and after calling multiple times they finally got back to me and said they wouldn't warranty it or help at all with the cost because 300 miles is considered normal where and tear.they must have left it out side well it sat there for a month being all the new bumpers and front plastic were all badly faded. I recommend do not buy or bring anything here this place sucs.and if you do good luck read more

I broke an upper front shock bolt on my SXS. Wanting to support local brick and mortar businesses, I called Johnny K's to get my bolt. I called and spoke to Shelbie in parts. She said she had the bolt in stock at their other local store and said it would be there in a couple of days. I called back 4 days later and was told by another salesman that he could see the order went through and they are waiting for it to come in. I asked why they had to order a bolt that was already in stock at their other local store? I never got an answer, just babble. I called back 3 days later and was told that it still had not arrived. Finally, 9 days after "ordering" the bolt, it came in. When this company folds up because people are using Amazon and other parts sites, they only have themselves to blame. I could've had my bolt in 2 days if I ordered off the internet for less money. I found another Can Am dealer in Kentucky called Adrenaline Cycles. I ordered my parts and they were here in literally 2 days. They were very knowledgeable in older out of stock parts and numbers. Johnny K's could care less in doing some digging to help find older part numbers (that's another story). So give Adrenaline Cycles a call for your Can Am needs! You won't go wrong. After tons of research and reading reviews I went to the Elyria Johnny K's Motorsports. I recieved excellent salemanship from Spencer the 2 days I was there asking questions and looking each and every ATV in stock. I was there for a total of 5 hours and Spencer never left my side. He answered or got an answer for every question I asked, which were extensive. I took several vehicles for a test ride to see how they drove. I ended up purchasing the CF Moto CForce 1000. I purcheased the front cargo extender seperatly from the "deal" as I didn't want to finance it. I asked for it to be installed so I didn't have to mess with it in the harsh temperates we are experiencing this last 10 days or so. I went back on Saturday afternoon to pick the vehicle up and headed to Cabella's to spend some gift cards when I realized the cargo extender was not installed.(my mistake for not noticing at the dealer) I went back and told the service dept. and it was an honest miss because it wasn't part of the "deal". They offered to install it for me but I didn't want to unstrap it in the minus 12 degree temps. They said they will give me a break on the charge for the first maintaince after my break in period. All in all it was a great experience and I would give Spencer 5 stars and service dept. 4 1/2 stars.(honest miss on the extender). I will update after my first maintance is complete. read more

They said they still have not had a chance to look at it when he said he was just going to pick it up and take it home they said there is a 125 dollar a day storage fee that he would have to pay first. read more

Their site had had it listed the same way... until i actually placed a phone call and he said it was roughly $5,000 higher because of demand. This shop is the ultimate bait and switch hustle. I actually bought my BMW bike a couple years ago from the Lodi location. Everybody that I dealt with was more than gracious. Super accommodating, trailing my bike to my office in Lakewood Ohio even though it was a bit away. Really made my first motorcycle experience memorable. Service department does a poor job. I took my pair of seadoos in for service, I was called and told they were ready but they never fixed them. Then I was told that all they could do was a visual inspection because their tank was put away for the year. Why didnt you tell me that before i drove an hour and a half to drop them off. read more

Drove over and hour to take my machine in for a 10 am appointment, when I arrived was told they couldn't do a simple resetting of the digital message on the computer, I has to leave it. Well two days later it still wasn't done. I went to pick up the machine and the Manager told me to calm down, he could do it for me for free, it only takes a few minutes. Well they didn't have the key that I ordered and paid for two days prior, which was in stock at their Lodi store and was being transferred that same day from delivery driver to delivery driver whom were meeting half way to exchange other parts. Needless to say I received my money back and didn't have a good feeling about letting them plug a computer to my machine. So a competitor re-flashed it on the trailer for free. I took my Jet ski to the Johnny K's in Lodi to have it checked out why it would not run. I spent $900.00 and 4 or 5 visits of me picking it up, taking it and test driving it myself in Chippewa Lake and driving back and forth to Johnny K's (25 miles round trip) to tell them it is not fixed. I missed vertually the whole summer of use, was out $900.00 and then to top things off, I am told by Todd to sell it. I take it to RVR Tech in Medina and he finds out in a few hours that I need engine repair done. Stay away from Johnny K's so you do not end up like me. They are horrible!! read more
