They not only provided estimates for the muffler and oil leak but also gave me a list of other items that might need attention. I appreciated that when I told them I only wanted to take care of the two main issues, there was no pressure to do additional work. Russ also mentioned he would do his best to have everything completed by the next day, even though they were closed that day. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be returning.

My appointment was for 1 PM, I didn't leave there until about 5 PM, so it definitely took a long time. When I got there, Sean was at the desk and helped me get set up with the car. Went through the oil change and costs with me and we discussed the brakes. I told him the issues we were having, and he was going to check them out. The oil change took little over an hour. Sean then came to tell me we needed all four pads and rotors replaced and what it was going to cost, which was about $1400. I asked him if we would be better off buying the parts and doing it ourselves, and he said with the cost of parts today, probably not. So I gave them the green light. I went to Mizu and was talking to my dad about the cost who informed me that I was being screwed out of money. So I looked up some of the parts and looked like a lonely psychopath sitting by myself in Mizu crying eating a sushi roll because life loves hitting us with big costs one after another. So, I went back over to Sean to talk about this. I asked him to print me a slip showing exactly what I'm paying for, which he very kindly did. He was very transparent with the costs and labor. The problem was with pep boys prices. They quite literally marked up one rotor more than 100%. I showed him the exact part on the internet, and how I'm being charged $400 in markups on just the rotors. Sean helped me very patiently for quite a while. He went through all the costs with me and answered every one of my questions. I kept offering to let other people go in front of me, but he declined that. Sean did literally everything he could to help me out with cost today which I am incredibly thankful for. He dropped costs everywhere he could. At the end of it, with all of the discounts, we still paid about $450 in labor and markups. Both Sean and Jason were absolutely great and very helpful, and I was happy to have dealt with them. If you don't care about cost, I'd definitely recommend this place. However this can be done for a lot cheaper on your own or probably in a more personal shop instead of a chain. If they didn't already start the work, I would have just left and had my fiancé do it. But what was done was done, so learning lesson for me and hopefully for whoever reads the reviews. I had bought the converter and two Oxygen sensors about 7 years ago, after talking with the auto shop manager at TCTC, who said he would put me on the list. I had called several times, only to get excuses. I talked to the folks at Rick's Lifetime Muffler, and they told me that they would be glad to do it. I made the appointment, and they installed it, only to find out that I should have bought four oxygen sensors. It was my mistake, so I ordered the other two sensors, and they installed them for me without charging me for my mistake. While I was there, there were many customers who were repeat customers, some who came from out of state, who used to live in the area. This is a family run business ho the customers love, and I can see why.

I went into the shop to let the cashier know that a black car cut in line in front of five others who had been waiting for hours. He shrugged and said he knew; they (supposedly) had been waiting inside (which makes absolutely no sense). There is no organization; people can cut without repercussions, and staff couldn't care less. I will never, ever be back. Update at 5:44 pm: the young man who just came to talk to me was super nice! I need to mention him because he is an awesome employee who looks no older than 20. He is trying to take care of me, and I appreciate HIM immensely (not the rest of this experience).
