I've always wanted to come here. We planned on getting some food there, but they were not opening the restaurant till 7pm, and we were hungry. So we went somewhere else. Once we did to go in, it was pretty cool. The bands were going to play indoors, instead of outdoors. The ac was blowing pretty good, and it felt great inside. Once we got inside, we found us a table, seating was very limited for an indoor show. We got ourselves a drink, and the bar staff were quick and friendly. There were about 4-5 bartenders, and they did not mess around. Bathrooms are kinda of a hassle to get in and out of. I didn't check to see if the bats outside were open. The sound was great, you could hear everything that was being played. There was a dance floor, but the crowd was big and there was not a lot of room to dance. Still had a great time. Drinks are kinda pricy, guess the days when beer was $2 is over.

Great place to hear some great music. It's outdoors and have an indoor space too. There was multiple places to buy drinks, sit and use the restroom. Beware of the long ladies restroom line inside. There are port-o-potties out back. Highly reccommend for a good time.

We bought tickets that were higher priced for a specific level of seating and there is no seating! It was completely full and we couldn't even get on the floor. We had to stand on the outside! Bathrooms and beverage are forever!

A very nice country bar and dancehall, with character and style. In the past I've taken a dance class, here. Today it was tamales, cocktails, and three hours of dancing, a great time and a wonderful band!

This place is bigger than I thought. The bar part is decently sized but they have a huge outside part which is where the concert was at. I will be going back in the future to get a feel of what this place is like for just their bar. I didn't get anything to eat there only a drink which cost $12 and the bartended didn't know how to make it. I had to tell her what it was. Maybe it was just up charged because of the concert but sheesh $12!? I had a great time at the concert don't get me wrong but floore's really should have done more for people's safety. There was no walk way to get to the bar like there was so many people... it was almost a safety hazard. The police or workers should have told the people to make a walk way for safety but nope! The inside of the bar was nice though I would like to come back and experience in a more calming matter so I'll update my review when I do go back!

Good venue for a country concert. They usually have Texas country bands and classic country artists. The venue is big enough to accommodate many people. They also have an inside seating area with a small stage. Ticket prices vary. They have the VIP with a table section that sells out quickly. Then there's the VIP with seating. The seating is first come first serve and people do get there early. The general admission is standing. The VIP has their own bar. The bathroom situation is tricky. They have four stalls in the women's bathroom. They do have ports pottys. Free parking is limited. You can find parking for $20 across the street. They sell food in the venue too.

Came here for the first time and it was quite an experience. The space inside is pretty big but it can get packed quick so if you wanna ensure you get close to the stage show up early. Didn't try the food this time around but it appeared the kitchen was pretty busy so I'll have to check it out next time. Bartenders were pretty good and the drink I had was just right. I'm hoping to be back for more shows over the years.

Recently moved to the area and bought tickets to see the Bellamy Brothers. The day of the show it was a very cold day. I had read reviews about this place and prepared but was not prepared to learn that the concert was outside on this cold day. We arrived around 7 and were able to find a parking spot without having to pay for parking...about a block away. There was already a line waiting to get in. I saw many women carrying blankets...wish I would have known to bring one...but I had assumed the concert was indoors. We had premium seats and as soon as we entered, we walked over to the front of where the band was going to play. Plenty of chairs available but not really an area to dance. If you happen to visit in the summer or on a sunny day, there's no shade or umbrellas unless you purchase terrace tickets which are more expensive. I did love our seats....great view and sound was perfect. They do offer all kinds of alcoholic beverages and I did see people order food. Overall we had an amazing and fun experience and will visit again one day.

Very cool Texas Dance hall. Friendly staff and very quick with a cold beer. We saw Ray Wiley Hubbard there and the sound in the room was great. Loved the experience and can't wait to come back someday!

I attended my first social distancing concert last weekend, and I kinda like it! My husband is a huge fan of Texas country and Floore Country Store has always been our go-to concert venue for all his favorite artists. We noticed they were bringing concerts back last week and decided to give this a chance. Here is what you need to know: 1- You can only purchase tickets by groups of four, six or VIP table. 2- Seats are not assigned, so it's first come first serve. You MUST stay at your seat the entire time, and they don't encourage dancing or standing during the concert. 3- Staff comes at takes your drink order at your seat and you can pay with cash or card. 4- Everyone must wear face masks while walking around the venue. They have a few officers around the venue making sure everyone is wearing a face mask. 5- Food is still available for purchase, but you have to order that inside. With all that being said, I really like this new social distancing concert style. If you've been here before, you know Floores get PACKED! I am 5'1" and is always a struggle to even catch a glimpse of the artists playing, so this new way of enjoying the concert from the comfort of your seat is pretty nice. I also really liked that you don't have to wait in line to get a beer! The staff was AMAZING and they would get your drink in no time.

First time here, attended the Kj 97 Chris Young event! We had an absolute amazing time. We got the most out of the VIP experience. Food was a bit of a shortage, but beverages were good. The show entirely was great!

Saw Jon Pardi here last night. (And it was great!) Havent been to Floores in several years because I was not a fan of their set up.. Well, it's improved felt more "open" and I think there was a slight slant in the land going from back of venue to front of stage. I am pretty short, and towards the back, I could still see pretty well. Didn't eat there, but had drinks. Just basic beer, but they did have some other alcohol. OH! Best part.. I was trying hard to get tix. (Sold our show both nights) WELL! Floores has an area on their website to purchase other fan's tix. Yes. Like ppl who couldn't go for some reason post their tix for sale. THAT is how we scored tix the DAY OF show! Do not trust ppl online/fb to sell their tix. Scammers!

Venue sucks. WAY oversold, no place to even stand. We looked at VIP but they are just chairs, no reservation. Will never come back.

Getting to this venue isn't difficult but what is difficult is getting IN to the venue. Specifically, I had VIP parking but I still had to wait in a single lane to get into the parking lot for more more than 30 minutes. I literally missed the beginning of the show I was supposed to see because I was sitting in my car waiting for the police to direct the one lane of traffic to the general parking lot vs the venue parking lot. Once inside the venue, concert/event goers will see different lines for VIP check-in vs. regular check-in. As I was late to this concert and was VIP, I didn't necessarily have the same problems as the Yelpers who mentioned overly long waits to get in. Once I was in the venue, I went directly to the VIP suites that are located upstairs. The suite I was in had a bar right next to it, therefore when I requested food or drinks, the waitstafff came quickly as they were within earshot. Unlike others who mentioned long waits for service, I think it largely depends upon what tye of admission you are have (general, standing room vs. suite, vs. lower level seating). This is the first outdoor venue I've been to in Central Texas that has suites. It should also be noted that those who have suits also have thier own VIP bathrooms (not porta-potties). Therefore, my opinion of the seating, bathrooms and view of the event is probably slanted because of the type of access I had. *Here's a tip, if you have a membership to the golf course next door, you can sit and listen to the music for free* Once outside the suite, the general merchandise area and event merchandise area was fairly lackluster. Aside from the stereotypical astronomical prices, this section and selections was generally unimpressive. There appeared to be several food options from Texas Barbecue to Nachos with minimal wait for food offerings. The sound of the event was good but not great. This isn't a deal breaker for me as some of the performers had trouble with their equipment. Also for this event, I went to see Blues Travler and John had COVID so this wasn't the best showing for the group. There was another lead singer reading lyrics from a sheet and as everyone knows that no one can be John other than John Popper. I left this concert early as I wanted to avoid the same issue I had getting into the venue with the traffic. I am not sure based upon this showing that I would return to an event here.

As local residents who were eager to finally visit, our experience was disappointing, revealing a…read morenumber of issues that detract from the establishment's potential. Deficiencies in Service and First Impressions The initial experience upon arrival immediately set a negative tone. There was no staff presence at the door, and no clear, written signage indicating the proper protocol for seating--whether to wait, check in, or simply seat oneself. This lack of guidance forces guests into an awkward uncertainty, which is unacceptable for any hospitality business. After finding our own way to the covered patio, we observed servers casually chatting amongst themselves while intermittently looking in our direction. A more professional approach would involve staff being observant and quickly moving to acknowledge and seat new arrivals. When a server finally approached our table, the interaction was severely lacking in basic professional etiquette: * No greeting was offered. * No menus (drink or food) were provided. * The only opening line was an abrupt inquiry: "Are you ready to order?" These omissions suggest a fundamental lack of staff training in business etiquette and basic customer service procedures. A proper initial interaction should involve a warm welcome, an introduction of the server, and the immediate presentation of menus. Operational and Marketing Misalignment A major deficiency is the misalignment between the bar's online presence and its current operational reality. The website prominently states, "DRINK. EAT. VISIT.," creating an expectation that a food menu is available. We were informed by the server that the cook had quit and no food items were available. This is a critical failure in both operations and marketing transparency. The website must be immediately updated to reflect the current operating posture and manage customer expectations. The suggested workaround--ordering food from Fralo's Pizza next door--while a temporary solution, begs the question of why a patron wouldn't just choose to go to Fralo's directly. This situation undermines bar301's identity as a full-service establishment. Limited Offerings and Infrastructure Issues Further disappointment arose regarding the beverage service. Upon ordering frozen margaritas, we were informed that the bar does not prepare frozen margaritas. For an establishment specializing in drinks, a common and popular request like a frozen margarita should either be available or clearly noted as unavailable before ordering, especially given the lack of a drink menu. Beyond service, the physical space itself presents an issue. The location appeared unappealing and partially rundown. While the primary product is the experience, the ambiance is a critical component. Management needs to make a tangible effort to improve the aesthetic appeal and overall maintenance of the space to create a more inviting and lasting impression. Conclusion and Recommendations Our visit was cut short, as the cumulative impact of these deficiencies led us to seek an alternative venue (Silo Oyster Bar) where we anticipated a more professional and competent service standard. To improve customer experience and ensure long-term viability, bar301 management must immediately implement the following: * Mandatory Staff Training: Institute comprehensive training on basic business etiquette, professional greeting protocols, menu presentation, and proper table service. * Operational Transparency: Immediately update the website and any external marketing materials to accurately reflect the current food service status. * Front-of-House Management: Establish a clear and well-communicated seating protocol, including a dedicated host or signage for customer guidance upon entry. * Facility Upgrades: Invest in improving the appeal and maintenance of the space to align the physical environment with the perceived quality of a San Antonio destination. Addressing these critical points will be essential to make a better and lasting impression on both local and visiting customers.
