I had been a big fan here until tonight. I ordered four Jameson and dr.pepper singles. Chloe charged me for doubles. Watch out for Chloe. Apparently she assumes you want doubles. I never wanted a double. I have never been disrespected in this manner. I also heard there was a shooting in the parking lot. This place went downhill so fast. Ever thought that day drinking was weird? Well i did too until i came here. Opens very early so i can get a quick beer after working night shift. They also have food!! (If the cook is in the house that is). The price for the food is reasonable and it complimented my beers perfectly. Its a great place to socialize and play pool. We like to visit Two Rivers on Monday nights for trivia (Tap TV), karaoke (the karaoke guy rocks), and sometimes a little food. The service here ranges from pretty good to dismissive. Tonight we arrived, and there was no trivia on the TV, and the bartender said that some other patrons asked them to turn the trivia TV to football. I asked if one of the other TV's could be changed to trivia, and was told that the reason there was no trivia on, was that TAP TV was not working. We had been starting to become semi regular customers, and it was disheartening to have our regular bartender lie to us. We ended up leaving, and are hoping things improve so we can go back. We will call to see if karaoke and trivia are happening if we decide to return. The three stars are for prior visits. We left tonight without ordering anything, so tonight's visits ZERO stars. 12-23-19 Update: Football over karaoke.......bartender choice, so don't expect consistency on Monday nights. This review is for other bands that might be thinking about playing at this venue. Directions: Finding the place is pretty simple. Directions on the web appear to be accurate. It's located in the Woodstone Shopping Center close to the CITGO station. Load-In: Load-in is quite convenient. You load in through the front door. The bar has three parking spaces right in front of that door blocked off with cones. This is normally for motorcycle parking. However, if you get here early enough and there are no bikes using this area, they will move the cones long enough for you to park your truck or trailer right in front of the door. Once you enter the club, make a 90-degree turn to the left and you will see the stage. It's just a few steps from the door to the stage. Stage: The stage is quite sizable. As a trio, we have a ridiculous amount of room. It would be no problem to fit a six-piece band on this stage. Once on the stage, electrical service is plentiful. As a pleasant surprise, the stage is well made, about six inches high and obviously built by someone who knew what they were doing. It is roomy and deep and we found no soft spots, trip hazards or vicious resonances. There is also a built-in riser for the drums that's about a foot tall and maybe 6 feet wide by 4 feet deep. There is easily room for your front man to stand in front of the drums with a floor monitor. Watch out for the two ceiling fans. When putting on or taking off a guitar, it wouldn't be difficult for someone to unintentionally stick their guitar neck into the fan blades. The stage and riser are both carpeted. The room has good acoustics. Lighting: The venue does have some stage lights, but you'll want to use your own since you have no control over the venue's lights and they're not very effective. We made it through the night with them but won't do that again. Sound System: The club does have its own sound system consisting of a sub and top on each side of the stage. It's more than adequate. However, I don't remember seeing any monitors or mics, so you may need to bring your own. If you plan to use the club's system, I suggest you contact them well ahead of time and find out what their procedure is regarding use of the system. From signs on the stage, it sounds like they have a sound man and they want him running the equipment. We used our own sound system since we usually have the best luck with that. Layout: The club is L-shaped. Your audience will be directly in front of you as the long arm of the "L". A second room opens off this room at the back to the left and contains all the electronic gaming machines. The two rooms are fully open to each other and your sound will carry into there really well. Volume: We were able to bring our volume up to what we considered a comfortable level for a classic rock band with no complaints from management. Comfort: We played here in July and the air conditioning was excellent. Very comfortable environment. Venue Management: Pleasant and easy to work with. We look forward to our next gig here. read more

If I needed a true dive, this would probably be it for me. It's not far from where I live, so I decided to check it and other establishments near my home to find MY neighborhood bar. It's pretty unassuming and you can easily pass by it without realizing it's right there. The place is actually pretty big inside, with a "digital casino" in the rear room, and the main floor and bar as soon as you walk in the front door. Immediately to your left will be the stage and dance floor. (On this particular night they had a Texas country band playing. Not really my thing, but everyone seemed to be having a good time.) The bar was pretty big with plenty of seats along it, and there are plenty of tables beyond the dance floor. But something about the setup just seemed messy or congested (which is the only reason I'm knocking it down a star). Had there been more people that place would've become uncomfortable real quick. The bartender who served me was very nice and took care of my order quickly. Drink prices were cheap. I didn't stay long because I was hopping around that night, but it was a good first impression. read more

Perfect hole-in-the-wall country bar and grill, with classy bar, great live music and pool, darts and the unusual touch of gambling on computers. The bartenders are great. The atmosphere is awesome. I love the potstickers, but not at the expense of smelling like them when I get home. The "Fried Food Smell" is over the top due to lack of ventilation. Please fix it. I love it here. read more

I would normally say yes to this place. However, we went to see an awesome local band, heard they wouldn't be returning because, well the manager that night didn't get the lead singers attention. They said they had people complaining about the band weeks after, when in reality that wasn't the case. When Two Rivers Tavern actually has this local and talented back, maybe I'll consider going back again. They also refused to acknowledge that there were a ton of people there and the band drew a huge crowd. read more

Great atmosphere we played pool listened to a variety of music and enoyed hanging out having a few beers.They have a well stocked bar and friendly attentive bartenders. There is something there for everyone pool, darts, foosball, even sweepstakes machines, along with great drink specials you can't help but have a great time.
