Came here after a nail tech from another salon screwed up my french gel manicure. He was friendly, polite and listened to me. I asked before hand if he can do design and french, and he delivered! He did a great job! Thank you John!

Very happy I made the switch. He does great work and most importantly makes appointments and honors them. No waiting. I like that you are the only customer in his space. So happy to finally have a pedicure after so many months quarantined! This was my first time going to John Regal but I definitely will be back. John was quick, the shop was clean and perfect for social distancing, as there is only one customer in the shop at a time. He wore a mask and there was hand sanitizer available. Uneven nails all over the place - ugh :(

Not going back: he filed my nails uneven, he also filed in a way that middle of the nail was lower then the ends. I had to point out that gel was bubbling and crumbled at the end for him to fix it. He seemed to be in a rush, no proper massage of hands in the end. 3 stars only because he was nice. Do not waste your money here.

Lately it's been a struggle for me to find a nail tech that I truly like. After some searching, I came across John Regal Nail. The reviews were pretty good so I decided to give it a shot. I was not happy with the last place I went to get my nails done so I was very hesitant to get them done again; but New Years is coming up. Initially I thought it was like a regular nail salon but instead they are by suites. John was super kind! He did a wonderful job with my nails, it's been a while since I've found someone who I genuinely felt comfortable with. Normally other places take an hour to do tips, but he did it in about 35min. I was impressed because I start getting sleepy if it takes too long. I don't normally leave reviews but I was very satisfied with his work. I will definitely be going back, you have a new client!

I moved to White Plains recently and am so happy I discovered John. His studio is in Sola Studios and feels very private due to the size. He is so friendly and offers a great selection of colors for both regular polish and gel. He also offers SNS nails. If you are new, I recommend calling ahead or texting him to make an appointment.

John is a Fabulous and Friendly Nail Technician. I followed him from his previous location and will follow him to end of the world for the outstanding service. If you are a Dip Powder lover please seek out his services. This salon has an array of colors and is sanitary and hygienic. All safety protocols are followed including a temperature check before entering. John operates a small salon so no fear of maintaining six feet protocol from other guests. My evaluation of his services is long overdue as he has been my nail technician for the past three years. John can also do Chrome Nails! This salon is centrally located in downtown White Plains and definitely worth the trip! Best Independently Operated Nail Salon in White Plains!

You know first impressions are everything, right? I've been looking for nail salon in WP for years ~ YEARS. Nothing ever felt quite right. Resumed my search a few days ago and found John Regal Salon with a lot of positive reviews. Close to my office and in a pinch because I needed them done, I made an appt. I was taken on time and John is so nice! Warm and friendly, a little music playing. He has his own suite within Sola Salon so it's one on one time. Today, I opted for a gel mani and I'm impressed with his work. I didn't say much, I let him do his thing to gauge him. Great job! Nicely shaped, cuticles clean, nice polish application. He's got a decent amount of colors to choose from, he is reasonably priced and works quick, but not rushed. He has that confident in his work/technique quick. I'll be back. Thanks John! read more

Visiting from Houston, TX. In town for 50th birthday party. I just got my nails done a few days before I left and they started to chip. I stopped in and John Regal gave my one of these best shellac manicures I have ever gotten. If I lived in NY he would be my guy! Loved the neck massage! read more

John is studious, polite, knowledgeable, quick, reasonable, and extremely efficient at mani/pedis. I was referred by a friend and thought I would share my review online and strongly recommend him as your go-to nail guy. He is well worth the visit. Just know he works solo in his cute little shop, so getting your nails done with a friend is not a possibility. Def 10 out of 10! read more

I recently moved to White Plains and so this was my first time with John Regal. I loved my experience! John is a one-man show, which means that he only sees one client at a time. This is great for a COVID-19 conscious client like me. We both wore masks, and there was hand sanitizer available. His salon is within the great Sola Salon on Hamilton Ave, and his room is cozy, comfortable, and clean. John himself is very friendly and took his time and care with my nails. Additionally, I felt that the pricing ($30 for a gel manicure, $25 for a pedicure) was quite reasonable. I will definitely be seeing John again for my next nail appointment! read more

It was my first time ever going and I was let off from work late. So I was 15 minutes late and he was very understanding when I let him know. Then I got lost, and he helped me find it (If you're lost go to 455 and they look for Sofa Salon and enter where you will find him in bay 29). When I got there I asked for acrylic tips with designs on two fingers with gems. He did an amazing job with the shaping and the design. Bonus he had amazing music playing in the background. Just went to John for the first time and I couldn't be happier with my nails! I recently moved to the area and have tried a few spots that I had been disappointed in. I needed a gel fill bad for an upcoming event and John graciously squeezed me into his schedule to get it done in time. I already booked my next appointment. I couldn't recommend John more! read more

John does impeccable work. My nails always look perfect. He is very gentle with cuticles which is very important to me! He has a place in Sola Salon on North Broadway. His space is very clean. John is accommodating to your schedule and an all around GREAT person! read more

John has been doing my manicures and pedicures for years. I call him my magician. People think I have decals on my nails and they're shocked when I tell them that he paints every nail. He's so creative, I call him my "Picasso"!!! read more

John is one of the best out there. He is fast, efficient, and the quality of his work is amazing and it is not comparable to any other nail stylist. To top it off, he is the sweetest! Make this your go to place for a mani or pedi. read more
