When I recently expressed my frustration about yet another increase, the salon responded by unilaterally canceling all of my upcoming appointments -- including one scheduled just days before my vacation. There was no discussion or attempt to resolve the issue. This experience made it very clear that the owners do not seem to care whether they keep existing clients. I was left scrambling at the last minute and extremely disappointed. Long‑term customers deserve better communication and more respectful treatment. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, I won't be returning.

I was assigned to a young man who I assumed to be a family member because after a few minutes I realized he knew nothing about the spa service I requested. First, he had to ask other staff where the spa supplies were. Then once he began the service the first product he used was incorrect and I told him so. At this point he went to get the manager who ran the shop and assigned me to him. They did not speak in English about the issue but I could tell the older man wasn't happy but he stayed a while to instruct the younger guy on the next steps. Soon after the manager left I had to correct the young man again and he responded by say "he never told me how to do this" while gesturing towards the manager in the front. I tried not to get upset but spa services are not cheap and I informed him of this. I expected a relaxing service but instead I left frustrated because I still was charged full price for a literal training session. I paid the amount I was charged but I did let the manager know I would not be tipping for the pedicure and why. The manager did not argue and only responded with a smile because he definitely knew why. The young man who was assigned to do my pedicure was very apologetic but I wouldn't return for services because I didn't appreciate being charged full price for beauty school level services.
